I watched your video before replacing the passenger door handle on my 350Z. The trick using a paper tube to prevent dropping the bolts inside the door was so useful. Replacement took 15 minutes. Thanks for all the tips !!!
Yo yo, I’m glad at the end you stated how much time it actually took to do so the job minus filming, the shop quoted my mom 768$ to to both doors. 8/20/19, not going to pay that!!! Thanks for the video! You saved me $700 dollars!!!!
Thank you so much for putting this video up, your video made it so easy to follow on how to replace the door handle. I did it all by myself, feels awesome to accomplish this task. Thank you!
Great video! I replaced my latch but neglected to slide down the rubber piece in place and this causes the latch to work very hard. Be sure to slide latch down and seat it properly to avoid this issue. Just FYI!
My 2007 convertible has one grommet for the bottom bolt. The top has a guide piece that is held down by 3 bolts and slides into a hole on the jamb. Is this what needs to be removed to get to the top bolt?
Hi, I just have a question, I want to swab an automatic transmission from 2003 or 2005 350z nissan to mine 2004 350z, is it a swab and go or I'm going to do anything else?
@@IsahDaPlya hi Mate, by chance i ripped of the top trim piece which sits on top of the door on the outside. once that is off you can use some sort of stick to put down the gap and push down on the lever which will open the door. i brought a new trim piece from japan to replace the one i pulled off after i fixed the locks . Better than cutting the door open lol
@@anff Dang, so it happend to me twice. first time i yanked on it and it didn’t work so i had the idea to open it from the inside and the outside and pull and it worked, then after it did the same thing but the lock was stuck and wouldn’t unlock and after a full day of my door not opening i showed it to my cousin and he litearlly pushed the lock to the unlock position with his finger somehow and got it open
john Vang I got it from a parts car, but on eBay you can order one from Quirk Parts OEM and good service fast shipping. That's where I got my driver's side from.
The only reason I used a socket wrench, and paper/etc. was to eliminate the possiblility of the 10mm falling into the door. If that happened I'd have to dis-assemble the door to take the bolt out (because the bolt will rattle inside the door under normal conditions). If this was a customer vehicle, I'd do the same even though I have thousands of dollars in cord-less impact guns, wrenches, and anything you can think of. When you do the job about 50-100 times, you learn the fastest, and most effective way to get a job done
