Hey I think he probably did an awesome job but how about slowing down next time for people who are trying to do this at home by themselves
It's all about gravity!!! GOOD JOB!
Beautiful work but I have taken apart my sink drains and cleaned them out so many times that I will never, never glue sink drains. Only a person who has never cleaned out their pipes will glue them.
Shouldn't there be an opening at the bottom, so you just take the cap off to clean?
Lol come on man, you never glue drains?? That is comical.
@@tudvalstone the p trap can be opened to allow for a snake
What's that glue You spread
This is nails good job bud. The ptrap is fine it won’t leak if you dope the face, old heads think they leak idk why 😂. Anyone complaining that it’s glued fittings can literally take it all apart they’re stupid. Keep plumbing this way you’ll go far.
I appreciate the comment, thank you. 👍
Should there be a slope between the right and the left so that the water from the right sink runs to the left? If so, is there a specific degree this has to be at , or it doesn't matter?
just give it a little bit a fall of but not to much , he gave it fall from right to left because it’s draining on the left side
Hello, how can you install it if you don't have a T at the end ?
How do both ends stay up on the pipe? Having the issue where one side falls off and water drips from one side.
You need the tapered polyethylene washer on each slipped over pipe with the flat side toward the nut and tapered side towards the threads. The rest he does he uses standard PVC that needs glued but most kits will have these fittings where you cut to length for your setup and use the polyethylene washers to tighten each connection since it's slipped into and not glued.
Boujour existe t-il les robinet de cuisine et salle de bain et extérieur de la maison 🏠 connecté avec téléphone portable pour pouvoir fermer ou ouvrir l'eau ? Merci ++
Looks good. Fyi all your fittings below the flood rim level need to be drainage fittings. That vent 90 should be a long turn where it turns back into the wall. Also I would suggest never using those p traps. Use all glue, those leak, often. Looks beautiful.
Thanks for the comment @scottlflecher1956
For kitchen sinks you have to use a serviceable p trap it cant be all glued. That's code in my area. He should also have a 3/4" cleanout plug at the bottom as well.
If you are going to make instructional videos, like this title suggests, slow down and explain. People have so many questions and your response is, "it's there you just cant see it."
No wye to tie in the dishwasher?
The kitchen that this sink was installed in has no room for a dishwasher nor will it ever without an addition being added to the kitchen. Thanks for the comment 👍
Good idea to make it an all glue situation, that way if they ever have any issues they have to call you back out. Nice job security.
Thanks for the comment @marvthecarpenter, the kitchen sink drain is designed so the entire assembly can come apart Incase of any emergency, you can see an example of the same drain here ruclips.net/user/shortsC9TycrAro0w?feature=share
Thanks again for the comment
You can take the whole glued up part off from the 2 tailpieces and P trap by unscrewing the plastic nuts.....
Now there is no way to snake it , will fail inspection
I posted this video a while ago, just rewatching, anyone else catch those ashy elbows!!!
I cross threaded my plastic pipe, it’s stuck now and idea how to losen it?
A pipe wrench and good old fashioned muscles 💪🏾
What glue are you using? This video is for beginners right?
Definitely a waterproof adhesive. Might be plummers glue.
It falls right down, it won't tighten
The problem i see is the drain position on the wall itself! Isn't it to high? The drain will always be full of water? At least from the trap to the wall? No?
That’s why it’s called p-trap. There’s always water trapped in the pipe which prevent sewer gases from coming back up to the sink.
I think that pipe might be a vent.. it's hard to tell because he doesn't show where the actual trap goes into
My drains didnt come with the downward pipe n idk what to dooo
Do you mean the P Trap? The one that curves? You could buy one.
@@BriannaEntrepreneur figured it out haha
Why ABS pipe? Code requirement?
Nobody answered you yet! It's required in Mobile, and manufactured homes.
This video is made in Canada, we don't use PVC in residential plumbing. I'm all for PVC however the pipe and fittings are not available. We use Sys 15 and XFR however it's only in commercial and priced high. Thanks for the comment
A handyman runs that in tubular, a plumber does it like this big difference
Thank you for the comment
My kitchen sink is clogged I tried everything drano etc but nothing happen. Is there anyone have any idea?
You need to take off that p-trap, it's that U-shaped piece at the bottom, unscrew both sides and drop it out make sure you have a bucket to catch the water that's in the p-trap, then clean out the clogged and reassemble. If your is all glued-on like his in the video you are going to need a wire coat hanger and fish it down the drain to loosen up the clogged then put Drano in there and wait 20 minutes before turning on the faucet, if that doesn't work, have water in your sink and use your toilet plunger. Try these things first before calling a plumber.
Take a plunger to it.
@@craftman5632Please don’t recommend drain cleaner before calling a plumber. How would you like to work on a drain filled with that? Drain cleaner is also detrimental to a snake cable.
I double trapped all my twin fixture sinks when possible can’t stand continuous waste too many chances of leaks
That's wrong.
CODE says
ONE trap per trap arm.
How about a cleanout, Mr. I Know what I'm doing!
There is an inline clean out after the trap. Thanks for the comment
@@myoldplumber Sorry. Couldn't see it.
All glue no tie if you drop something you never getting out
The drain is designed to be disassembled easily. Watch this example on the same drain ruclips.net/video/9HZV7khLzJ8/видео.html
Thanks for the comment
Guess they didn't want a garbage disposal either? Why would you not run the drain in PVC also? ABS just looks tacky
I think abs looks better. I never use it around here
We don't use PVC in residential plumbing in Canada. Not my decision, it's just not available. We use Sys 15 and XFR in commercial, however residential is ABS. Thanks for the comment
That's what I was looking at lol... I've seen some videos and I see people not installing garbage disposals to their kitchen sinks??? So are they just using some Dinosaur to eat the little scraps that might fall into the sink lol 😆 😅
