I think this is the first Puppeteer that really focused on Eury. His fear, his powerlessness, and especially his guilt. I loved that since this song is his story about what he saw but underpinning it is his knowledge that they wouldn't be on the island at all without his actions. Showing him on his knees trying to convince Ody not to engage Cersie is as close to begging for forgiveness as he can get without confessing. It is so beautifully subtle. Bravo

Wow! You can already really see Eurylochus' guilt knowing that he opened the wind bag that led to the fleet getting massacred by Poseidon in the scene where he begs Odysseus not to go after the men, even though he never says it.
Man so much of this is so good, like how painful the transformation was, one of the crew trying to fight back while Circe has to react to stop him to show the power difference, the last shot of Circe overlooking the ship, all so good. Probably my favorite animatic of this song.
Okay, so I'm watching all EPIC animatics like a maniac and this is hands down the animatic with THE BEST TRANSFORMATION SCENE. WONDERFUL work, like everyone's said: the dramatic lighting on Eurylochus' face on "a woman" cutting to sketchy "wat" Ody, the slow, painful transformation and the crewman who tried to attack her, love love love. but also the disdain on Circe's face when she releases the newly transformed pigs and all the animals hanging around her palace, and is that Hermes lurking about in that tree at 3:28 or am I reading too much into things? love seeing a new Puppeteer animatic, hope lots of people see it and enjoy!
Thank you SO much for appreciating all the details I painstakingly put into this, it means more than you could know! No Hermes in the tree I'm afraid, but I DID briefly entertain the idea of the final Circe shot pan up to him silhouetted against an emerging moon! I eventually opted against it as it would clutter an already rushed sequence a bit too much. Fun bit of trivia :)
man i love how you depicted circe!! shes so much more ruthless and cunning than she sounds and i really love it. it was amazing to finally see and realise just how horrifying circe’s power mustve been for the soldiers. i cant help but think of how bad their past visitors must have been to result in her becoming so cruel in order to protect the nymphs. incredible work
I LOVE the choice to focus on Eurylochus and the crew more, partly bc a Eury is my favorite character but it really emphasizes his choice to run away (which was technically right bc Ody would have died if Hermes didn’t step in after). Also I love the OPM/Mob Psycho esque artstyle drop on that “what.” The detail and motion in this animatic is impeccable you snapped on this
This animatic is absolutely gorgeous! Every character is so expressive, and I love your take on Circe and her magic. The transformation looked especially painful 😊❤️
I love how Circe kinda dips into the Uncanny Valley at certain points, which kinda makes her more god like and different from the men, like her smile getting just a bit too wide, outlined by her black lips, or her eyes a bit off, it’s such a cool detail compared to the very realistically sculpted faces of the sailors
There are so many amazing things about this animatic, but Circe not looking as young and naive as her nymphs is a really cool detail for me. She’s still absolutely beautiful, but she also looks wise and intelligent. It really sells the queen part of the song for me.
0:42...Ody looks so tired... 0:54 I like how it's not a large group of men that when to check out the island, with makes sense with how little men are left. I know the comments are all saying it but fr that transformation sequence stole the show for me, the pose and framing and transition from his eyes to the pigs eye is so good, also I love the details on this, the animation of the water, the shine on the knife, the overall style and colors are really satisfying and I appreciate the time spent on the backgrounds as well it just makes it feel very polished in general 1000/10 this is probably my new favorite animatic for this song!
Your art is just, Wow ! The "a woman" making Eury more detailed while Ody becomes a sketch is a really fun idea. The crewmates transforming was horrifying but cool as heck ! And the designs of the nymphs looked super cute ! This might be my new favorite Puppeteer animatic now just because of how intimidating it makes Circe look and how traumatized it makes Eury feel
Eurylochus, bold black lines, shadows and highlights and in fear: "A Woman!" Odysseus, sketched lines and deadpan: "wut?" This has got to be one of the best Puppeteer animatics I've seen! Definitely one of my favorites now!
Never has Circe been portrayed as a true ruthless threat like this. Smoolio is the latecomer that was actually in the room of legendary EPIC Animatic creators the whole time
Ooh, I LOVE how menacing your Circe is, especially with the creatures that make up her Chimaera at her side. And the "darkly shadowed Eurylochus" cutting to the "confused sketch Ody" was awesome, as were the little touches that emphasize Eurylochus' guilty conscience and his mistrust of Odysseus. Fantastic work as always!
It also adds to the devastating factor later when Odysseus’s Cyclops kills Circe’s Chimera 😭 It hurts knowing that it was her pets that were being slaughtered, that Circe had to sacrifice herself and those she loved just to keep her nymphs safe from men who might/are pose(ing) a threat to them.
There are too many details I love about this animatic that'll take forever to list, but I will say... This is absolutely phenomenal. I feel like I notice more and more little details and each time I watch it through. Each character really feels like their own person. The composition, the little shifts in body language, the emotion from their eyes alone! Gosh, I could go on!
Okay this makes me capable of understanding why Eurylochus wanted to run. You made Circe (and the transformation sequence) genuinely terrifying. Gods, thats sooo cool.
I absolutely, genuinely ADORE this ❤❤ I love how emotive and expressive Eurylochus is in this whole thing, I adore it so, so much - (side-note, his stone face at "a woman" took me out completely, I was wheezing and then replaying it to wheeze some more), honestly I'm delighted how much attention he's getting in this song. I also love your Circe design, that aura of confidence and undercurrent of power, I'm in love, and then you keep emphasizing it with so many things, like having one of the crew try to attack her and she STOPS him not even an inch from her face, and the transformation! Ooof it looks so painful, and the hatred on his face!!! (It makes me wonder a little bit why she let Eurylochus go since she saw him there, because my man was next in line to be bacon). And listen, LISTEN, I'm slowly going crazy (in a very good way) at you having Circe go and see Ody's boat at the shore, because that amped up her danger vibes so much holy shit Seriously, I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this. You did an AMAZING job! Genuine question though, what was Ody thinking when Eury was singing "gods, monsters" because that eyebrow raise has me dying of curiosity
this better blow up, this is fantastic. The transformation sequence the best ive ever seen it done so far, and shows exactly why it was terrifying to watch for eury, this is so high quality
This was beautifully paced! Since everyone is commenting on the character interactions (justifiably so), I wanted to appreciate the backgrounds. The ships are detailed and imposing, Circe's garden and palace is filled with statues of her pouring water into fountains (as she's the lifeblood of this place), and the garden looks like a haven for the nymphs. It creates this cohesive world that feels fleshed-out beyond what our characters are familiar with.
1:25 God- Ody's eye bags, Man has had enough And the crewmates' Transformation CHILLING AND AMAZING And the other animals, the cat, snake and the wolf makes Circe's island, a paradise of itself 3:57 the fluidity of the cape IT'S ALL SO BEAUTIFUL OMG

I love the transformation of the men to pigs! It shows just how painful the transformation was. That's something I haven't seen in any other Puppeteer animatic. I adore how terrifying you made Circe's powers! Great job!!!
God, this is a masterpiece. The animation is superb, and it flows perfectly! I love your design for Circe, and your depiction of the transformation is awesomely gruesome. Really drives home why one would think those guys are already goners and be afraid you and your friends are next if you don't run. You do a lot of great character work with Eurylochus here. The guilt he's carrying and doesn't have the time to try and sort out before something else happens to make things worse, the way he's already starting to break under the strain of everything coming at them, but also showing a desire to make amends even if he doesn't know how, and his genuine fear not just for himself but for Odysseus's safety; the only thing that could make this day any worse for him is if his brother gets baconated and it seems like precisely that will happen before Hermes decides it'd be funny to intervene. Fantastic job. This is definitely my favorite animatic of this song!
This is very well done! :D The expressions, the movement of the animated 'camera' perspective of sorts, the details like Polite's bandana on Ody's arm, and the magic sequence and the animals and nymphs! Very impressive.
I really like how exhausted you made Odysseus look, the man has just suffered huge losses back to back so it makes sense that the weight of that shows on his face!
THIS IS INCREDIBLE OMG?? Also Eury’s face at “a woman” KILLED ME. Also Circe’s design?? Lord have mercy on my soul. ALSO THE TRANSFORMATION FOR THE PIGS?? I love how you made it look painful because of course it would be. And I love how you have Odysseus a more captainley presence by telling the men to go with Eurlochus. Also sobbing at Polites’ headband wrapped around Ody’s arm 🥹
I saw those wips on tikt tok and it was totally worth the wait! The crew's transformation left me speechless and how at the end she looks down on them as if she were really the one controlling them! Beautiful work
This is just another level of quality. I can't express how much i like the designs, the positions of characters in the panels, the facial expressions. This is perfect
2:39 upside down is beautifully horrific, everyone already said essentially anything else I couldve thought to mention but watching the transformation of the soldier on his back and seeing his face straight back at urs (aka upside down on the video) as its happening is WILD
Really one of the highest quality and most polished animatics I’ve ever encountered. The weight of their clothes and muscles and bones, it shows how much you practiced your anatomy. All of the narrative details are such a pleasure too, making this a great rewatch. Beautifully done. Great work. The effort was so worth it.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This is literally the most incredible animatic, holy moly! Like, the backgrounds alone are stunning, and then the attention to detail on top of that is crazy! I love that the crew actually fought back against the spell cause like, they're all still soldiers which totally makes sense. And Eurylochus' body language at the beginning conveys so much guilt, it's just amazing how many little things you managed to include in a 4 minute animatic.
I know everybody already mentioned the tranformation scene but DAMN this is cool. Also all the other animals around Circe are a neat detail. Really paints that connection to nature. (also that snake was adorable) Also the infamous 'a woman' scene you nailed it so well!
THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I love your art style and how you showed how painful the transformation from men to pigs was!! I just found your channel now and I seriously find the way you convey emotion in their eyes and faces so cool!!

I love the transformation of the men to pigs! It shows just how painful the transformation was. That's something I haven't seen in any other Puppeteer animatic. I adore how terrifying you made Circe's powers! Great job!!!
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you enjoy it🧡
eurolychus focus and we all love it
God, this is a masterpiece.
Wow, this was so good. 🔥 I love when people add details like this to humanize and flesh out the crew and Eury as individuals too.
Holyyyyy shit. New favorite. This is practically finished animation!! YOU SPOILED US
Sorry Gigi but this is definitely gonna be the new puppeteer animatic for my playlist-
WOWWOWOWOW I HAVEN'T SEEN AN ANIMATIC THAT LEFT ME AS SPEECHLESS AS THIS ONE DID IN YEARSS
This is one of the hardest animations I’ve ever experienced on epic. It’s up there with Wolfy and Gigi 🫶
1:46 Hello Sailor!❤
2:40 honestly that transformation is amazing 👏
This was absolutely gorgeous and I think takes the spot for my favorite Puppeteer animation!!!
EASILY my favourite Epic animatic ever.
This animatic is BRUTAL oh my God
THE TRANSFORMATION!! nice edition of the crew member attacking Circe
I always like to imagine that Eury is impersonating Cirse and the "Damn" by Odysseus is a reaction to how good Eurylochus impersonation is.
This whole thing was INCREDIBLE! Not only was the animation very high quality, but the artistic choices? The Lucifer painting reference? AMAZING!
That animatic was just mesmerizing all the way through, congrats!!
I saw those wips on tikt tok and it was totally worth the wait! The crew's transformation left me speechless and how at the end she looks down on them as if she were really the one controlling them! Beautiful work
Hey Ximena, glad you like it! Love your stuff :)
This might be the best Puppeteer Animatics I’ve seen.
That transformation was brutal!!!!!Imagine your bones breaking and muscle ripping apart while also feeling your humanity fading away.
I SWEAR, every single second you put in this INCREDIBLE work of art was worth it! It's PERFECT! 😮
But dude your style !!!!!!! Omgggggg it’s so smooth good in all ways !!! I love how you tell he story ! I’m just in love ❤ can’t wait to see more !
That hiphop segment gets me every time
Really one of the highest quality and most polished animatics I’ve ever encountered.
I love how highly detailed eury was in 1:40 compared to ody
I know everybody already mentioned the tranformation scene but DAMN this is cool. Also all the other animals around Circe are a neat detail. Really paints that connection to nature. (also that snake was adorable) Also the infamous 'a woman' scene you nailed it so well!
THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I love your art style and how you showed how painful the transformation from men to pigs was!! I just found your channel now and I seriously find the way you convey emotion in their eyes and faces so cool!!
Tbh best animation for puppeteer I’ve seen yet
I ADORE ALL THE EXPRESSIONS!!! Circe looks absolutely giddy and so powerful!!! The man look so traumatized and scared! It's amazing
OKAY THIS IS OFFICIALLY MY FAVORITE PUPPETEER ANIMATIC😭😭
I love that you just casually dropped the best Puppeteer animatic I've ever seen!
Omg thank you so much, glad you like it!! :')
THE FALLEN LUCIFER CRYING PAINTING REF‼️ CRAZYYY
HAHA YEAHHHHH :D
