When you put nuts or bolts on an exhaust system, do never ever use oil. Some copper grease will do the trick and prevent the nut/bolt from seizing the threads as it works with the temperature and at a point rusts. If you don't have a stainless exhaust, never use stainless bolts. One may be thinking this is a smart trick to prevent things from rusting, on the contrary...the mild steel part will rust even faster due to a galvanic reaction. So copper grease is your friend...goes for the backside of the brake pads too.
Great video !!! very helpful !!
Awesome big help, all of you're videos are grate I have a pd130 bora 😎
Hey man you left the old gasket on the up pipe with the 2 bolt flange. Great videos though man keep up the great work.
Imagine the hand mark on his face after reading your comment
Thank you for all the good work . Here all you need to do is just fit a plate to close the hole between the pipe that is coming from the exhaust , and the egr , ypu can still leave the vac hoses connected where there , no need to disconnect them . thanks
Have a follower! Keep it up, bro! :)
you make some good clear videos cheers
sickk channel! subbed!
good and quick job
Just ordered this kit from you for my pd130 Bora can't wait to fit it 😄
How did this work out? Do you get a warning light or anything?
thats whats up keep up the great work
Kickboxerkiller66 I appreciate that :)
Best I have seen, Thank you.
Good work bro.. enjoy your weekend
good video.
Snuggly...its a new word!! :)
He may not have given year make and model , but it is a much better video than most others out there.
I can watch this and adapt to year make and model easy enough.
Include the Y, M &M would be topping on cake but I like the quality.
Good video
Thank s my friend
hey BMAC top stuff can you please do a video on the 1.8T golf mk4 ultimate delete with catch can or a alternative to using a catch can
Thanks mate
what do you do with the vacuum lines after??
loool this video was too funny. Keep it up
Will you get a check engine light
Hi mate, 1st of all your vids are class and very appreciated.
I have a 2003 gt tdi pd150 which has egr deleted which throws up an emissions light and code comes up as egr valve.
Apparently it has to be mapped out, do i do this with vcds?
Thanks again 👍
It doesn't recycle unburned gas btw. An incomplete combustion would not be very good. The EGR is meant to cool the cylinder temperature which reduces NOx by introducing a small amount of burned gas.
Great tutorial, im just not feeling confident enough to do it myself lol. I just know my luck I wont be able to get a bolt out and then I'll be without a car for ages.
Instead your destroying your engine
stuck open egr are probably the most common problem
keeping it clean would be nice but on some models its just never done and once it is taken out it is replaced
IF cars would run like they wear originally intended to use alcohol then no more egr problems
Nice one bro. I did a video on this just weeks ago... I film on my phone, memory got full half the footage went onto sd card which became corrupt so lost a sick video! Was gutted at thay, but glad to see you covered this. As for the ASV, taking it out does cause a more agricultural shut down but it's pretty minor and well worth it for the car running better. Runaway engine is a pretty rare problem and can be stopped by stalling car in higher gear anyway.
Can you help me with my golf 4 1.4 16v... I fon't know what to do... By the way, i solved few problems thanks to you... You're the best!
hi, yes ok but what are doing with light engine(ford galaxy 2007 2,0L)???
Will the stock rubber pipe work with the kit?
where do you find this part with hole on the boost ?
I'm just wondering would an egr delete solve my coolant problem in my b6 Passat 1.9 TDI? We suspect it's a leaking egr cooler or valve so would this delete kit fix the problem?
hi do you block off the turbo mechanism hose too
Hi I have a 1.6 mk4 golf I have had to put a new engine in and the new engine hasn’t come with a EGR is the same engine same code by no EGR if I was to blank this will it cause limp mode engine lights anything like that
Excellent video, the system does not report any problem? Motor check?
can someone please answer my question. Is it possible to stop the EGR by just removing the vacuum line that is attached to the EGR valve? or would this have any potential damage in the long run?
A handy tip for you to aid your viewers....if you tell people at the start of the video the make/model/ engine size of the car your working on eg, golf Mk5 1.9 PDI that would be really helpful, great videos by the way 😁😁😁
I bought the egr delete kit for the pd130 off your website on Friday night havent received any emails or anything yet just curious what’s going on?
can I just "unplug" the egr solenoid? is it the same as putting blanking plate?
I like the new recording style, what camera do you use to film with mate?
James'sWorld Using a Canon 600d. Glad you liked it
Did u fit a boost gauge and do you know where u fed the vac lin into the car ?
How the hell did you release the egr with the pipe attached when you need to undo the pipe to get the the 3rd bolt on the egr itself?
greetings, thanks for your good work. When my car is a3 8l pd 130, it starts to lose power when it reaches 110/120 km speed and it decreases to 70 when going up the ramp. Straight road or ramp can go down 140 +. What could be the reason. I cleaned it. I changed the valves.
Hi BMac ,
Great Stuff .
Please can you tell me where can i get an EGR Delete Kit for a Golf 5 2.0TDI BKD spec . I am from SouthAfrica . We dont keep this here!!!
help help help!
Thanks
Would love you to work on my bora tdi st .
hi mate, firstly great vid it helped me immensely. Secondly, the elbow pipe you replaced, mine is not a reduced version. That clip you released from near the egr, i have the same clip on both sides of the pipe. I am having problems as the pressure keeps popping it off at the bottom end (not egr side). It seems the retaining clip is not holding it properly. I was wondering if you did a silicone pipe that would be big enough to go over the top of the plastic so it can be Jubilee into place? Thanks pal and keep up the amazing vids. Bazza
Barry Downings hello mate, did you find a fix for this in the end?
I have exactly the same problem. Clip both sides of the pipe and bottom end keeps popping off
Great video do I purchase that slip pipe wear at to do this job thanks
i have Audi A4 2004 1.9 tdi 130 HP , is it possible to do that ???? and in soft
how bad is the Exhaust fume smell after the EGR delete?
Wich kit and reducer hose did you use ?
That is nice but what is wit the ecu error?
Think i’ve got a leaking EGR cooler. Don’t suppose this will help?
How can use the stock pipe on the egr pipe ??
Anybody know what the pipe is called that the end of the silicone hose fits onto, not the egr end the other end? Thanks
What size is the reducer 90 hose
what song do you have playing in the background?
where can i find a delte kit for 2.0tdi audi a4 2006
Nice video. Is the procedure you did for a BEW or ALH? I am confused by 2 different kits I see. One just has blanking plates and others have the extension pipe like you show.
Also, will I have to worry about a CEL coming up? I have a 2004 Golf MK4 TDI 1.9l BEW all stock.
CEL comes on, you look up tuning companies like Malone or Kerma, get a EGR tune.
really clear video for me to understand how egr delete kits work! thanks a lot man!! kept it brief and concise!!
Could you go more in depth with the coolant lines delete
What size is the hose you used?
where is next video vacuum hose?
What's the diameter of the screw you put into the vacuum hose? m6, m7, m 8, m9 ?
P0401 Check engine light is on, now. How do I remove the EGR check from the ECU?
Where did you buy your kit?
You never uploaded a video for the vacuum delete. Still a nice content but the vacuum has to be tidy as well.
If it has Blowby it’s still getting egr from the CCV that you still left connected to the intake
So what is your solution?
Is the PVC valve and EGR valve the same?
Will it pass inspection?
why did you remove the big hose that goes to the airbox I don't understand?
great video, hope you can do videos on how to make your diesel golf faster and better, like front mount intercooler, bigger turbo, etc, would be really good
Where did you purchase the egr delete and what other models do they fit on? Looking for one for a mk4 Jetta gli
www.bmacvags.com
Hi great video, what will this improve? thanks in advance.
i have the same questions lol
BMAC - i'm thinking about getting a TDI, do i need to reprogram the ECU due to EGR delete?
yeah you do, depending what car you have you can just buy a remapped ecu so it wont show the codes. cheaper then taking it to a garage. some really go companies doing it as well
Hey my man I got a 2001 jetta tdi and was wondering where you got this kit from, thanks
www.bmacvags.com
Hey mate, is this 57mm or no?
Hi is this the same procedure on 2006 jetta tdi? Or is there a diffrence?
Mike Seibel same
Hello bmac just a quick question I've got a vw 2.0 Tdi 2008 eos BMM engine I can't find the egr valve I really want to clean it I've had no luck locating it :(
93ajay93 whenever you open your bonnet, and remove your engine cover, the EGR valve is just above the front bonnet catch, connected to the inlet manifold.
wouldnt your engine suck up all the gunk that normally the EGR does?
Hi Bmac love your videos, I'm not "ajeaneus" but I was wondering is it possible to install a turbo in a 2006 1.4 astra? I don't know if that's a stupid question but thanks anyway great videos love your work.
Robeat ah Anything is possible. Possibilities are relative to your budget. i really appreciate the compliment
Its very possible, worth it? No. It would be a lot cheaper and you would get more gains from a engine swap that already has a turbo on it zlet or something similar
James'sWorld Yes, James is right
vacuum pipe ??? how to delete n18 solenoid
Hello . I also ordered the egr cancellation kit. do i need to change some air values in ecu?
I have a seat leon 1m 1.9 tdi asv.
No need to. Your MAF censor will correct for the increased airflow:)
Mathias Mammen thank you for your answer . Greetings from Romania.
Thanks. You do a good job of showing how easy it is. I work on BIG diesel like 1764 hp FMOP's 9,000 +hp De Level's Enterprises, but not on small engines. I break to many parts on small engines. Good job on the video. I think I can do this.
Hello. How is the engine in this golf how much it has.
you need to change something in the car's software?
No not on this model
@@BMACCARMODS what year is the car?
So its more recomended to delete or not ???
Also oiling orings is a good practice however on orings that have not friction when installing does not require oil. Oil is used to make sure the oring doesn't come off or tear when pushing it onto something in this case it was just going onto a mating surface. But it doesn't hurt it by oiling. There are parts that you absolutely can't oil i.e. Teflon or Kevlar oil seal for the camshaft unless it has a spring in the rear of the seal. You didn't do anything wrong just food for thought.
Hi, first of all nice video ! My question is what benefits does it make when installing an egr delete kit to my tdi ?
Pretty much sod all. small amount of pick up at low revs. but if its clean. i doubt you will notice anything what so ever... Oh and if you don't want your engine management light on every day. Then get a custom map
Christian Grech I've done the easier version on this, just blank the egr exhaust pipe. Wasn't expecting any noticable difference however I have experienced a very slight increase in power and throttle response and about 4 mpg better fuel economy. not to mention the intake pipe was caked in soot which effectively narrowed the inlet by about half the diameter.
A lot of EGR's leak(spew) oil sooner or later and a new one costs 5x more than a delete kit, that is the main reason people do it.
Hi,i've got an E320 CDI any idea where I can do mine as well, thanks!!!
Hey i know if you want it i can explain ti you ✌🏻
Hey BMAC! What are the benefits/upgrades from this?
Lesscarbon build up on the intake
Don't you need a remap after this?
I was wondering if the egr needs deleting from the Ecu?
@@RedZu1 Depends on the ECU, the older ones wont give you error codes such as VW before 2003 as far as i know, cause my leon mk1 doesnt, but my mk4 gold which was 2004 had error codes.
Only if your ECU is coded for the EGR. If it is then you will get a light on the dash what will need mapped out.
How much is your kit VWTuran2004 2ltr
Would you do a egr delete through the ECU using remap software
Yes I may look into that
Does the same kit apply for petrol engine and if not could you make a video on your other petrol golf. Thanks.
Petrol engines dont have egrs
@@teem6344 they do
I went on your website to buy the kit and the hose and it said pre order. Would it still get shipped to me in the US if I ordered it?
Edit.
I cant find a kit like this anywhere other than the cheap ones on a sketchy website so I would rather support you
Hello,if i wallet egr, will the car drop me an error code?
Martin Mészáros i got an egr delete with no code and no tune
Make a video for the audi a1 tdi please!
Who will buy it for me?
Hi mine is mk5 PD 105, I've had it mapped will this effect the map or bring any lights on (engine management) top vid by way 👍
Daz B The newer engines tend to have EML issues, so you will have to map it out. Appreciate the compliment :)
Good luck with con rods on that engine with a remap as they are made of chocolate.
The old pd engine is far superior.
or ... you can use Coke can. You have to flatten the can, dismantle the outlet of the EGR (the place where the exhaust gases are mixed with the air intake). adjust the screw holes in the metal plate and mount so that the lamina blinded the hole. If someone is afraid that the blade is too thin, you can use a few layers. Zero cost, and 15 minutes of work.
My way exactly! 🤣
I saw exhaust gasses burn 6mm thin steel blanking plate. Some coca cola will can will not work good. 🤷🏼♂️
I used Pepsi can works just the same 😎🤣
Thanks so much for making this vid it helped me a lot!! I just purchased a 04' Volkswagon Jetta TDI and my egr emission valve kept squeaking. I'm gonna purchase a deletion kit if... That may not be what's causing the squeaking could you please reply and tell me what might be causing it. I already checked my belts and everything and, i'm almost for sure as certain that's the problem. Thanks!
did you find out yet? got the same problem
blue silicone how many mm?
When are them hoses gonna be back in stock for the 130PD?
You should be able to still order them
