"I'm not really particularly political myself, but I think it's healthy for little people to poke fun at the rich and powerful." best sentence I've heard in quite a long time. i love this man!
I grew up watching his Secret Life of Machines documentaries as a kid and his passion yet subtle British humor made the show really fun to watch. Glad to see him still enjoying what he is doing!
I can't believe these machines are all from you! I've grown up visiting my Grandad in Norfolk and we always go to the pier there with all of your arcade machines. They are just so quirky and alternative it's unreal. Always one of my favourite things about going there!:)
Quezng Entertainment ayy yeaaa I remember the Norfolk one, but I was really young at the time and only remember the autofrisk one, this weird massage like one that I can’t quite remember any details of, and this one where you were a fly and you had to try and not be swatted 😂
The world is better off the more people we have who are like him. Would love to visit one of his arcades. His sense of humor is spot on. Wish he would do a tour with a few of his machines stateside.
I've been to the arcade on the peir in Southwold. It was absolutely hilarious. Me and my brother real enjoyed it when we went out by ourselves with some money, it was just non-stop laughing. My brother enjoyed the dog walking simulation the most. Really love all of the games.
Tim Hunkin did a really awesome and informative series for the UK's Channel 4 called "The Secret Life of Machines" in the late 80s and early 90s. So cool to see him here on Great Big Story! Thank you!
This guy has true talent. He is also very artistic and has very unique ideas, he puts them together to make his own arcade. I would definitely love to meet him one day
The show Tim created, "The Secret Life of Machines," was one of my favorites when I was younger. I recall seeing the machine the "Chiropidist" in the show. So nice to see him still in top form!
If its of any use, there's plenty of youtube tutorials on making your own virtual pinball machine. Its basically just 2 televisions, some downloaded software and some joystick buttons inside a wooden cabinet. Obviously not the same as in the video or anything, but may be worth a look..
Hound Life Vlogs If you're interested, there are people out there who make their own unique pinball games and sell them. Check them out and support their creativity! :)
I remember visting here. I played everything and had no idea he was the one who built them all! It was a real good laugh though. The most fun I've had in a long time.
Visited a while back but it looks like there are some new machines. Autofrisk has a punchline that you need to experience then encourage friends to try.
