This guy legit looks like one of the Gods of Olympus
His mirror is his scepter
I agree, but I saw a picture of him without the beard and without it, he looks so different and dare I say strange, his beard is like a super power. With it he looks like a male model, without it he looks kind of weird. It's a shocking difference.
Is Olympus a poodle?
Tajdid Ajman has
Dude looks like Morrissey to me.
The advice to not go back and forth, but instead live with it for a couple days is so good.
Thank you for being my dad and teaching me how to trim my beard!
This is so cringy
*Daddy
oooh daddy
It's impossible not to appreciate Greg's contents, such a cool guy, and he has an amazing beard! Congrats on your upcoming anniversary!
Davide Cerullo Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy the content, and thanks a lot for the anniversary wishes.
the first cut was really a brave one, you helped me not beeing affraid to shape my beard today, thank you Greg. Happy 25th Anniversary
Thank you---and yes #firstcutisthedeepest
I tride trimming my beard twice and twice I shaved
mstick yes yes, it can be daunting, but if you start by just trimming off a quarter of an inch, it'll give you more courage to trim more.
Tried*
i've trimmed me a good number of times... with that said teach time i've shaved off my beard in the last 15 years was do to messing up a trim. i wanted it symmetrical and over corrected.
I like how meticulous and caring you are for your beard. It's really inspiring.
Awesome job👍🏻👍🏻..thanks Mr. Greg....love watching your videos!... learning from them.
Mr. Berzinsky I've only been growing my beard for a year now I used to keep it trimmed on the short side until I saw a video by you. You sir are the beard man I strive to be I plan on ordering some of your products and trying them out as I have chosen to grow my beard out and try to achieve the awesomeness that is your beard.
The content is super helpful, Greg! I'm 24, trying to start my first real beard and your videos are my go-to's for any questions! Beardbrand products are definitely worth the money!
that hand mirror, though
so extra
megagene it was a wedding present. The Sun on the mirror side and a moon on the handle. And I cut it on the solar eclipse, very apropos.
It's super cool!
Good enough to do blow off it
It’s like a Game of Thrones mirror
Thanks Greg. Been staring at my beard with scissors in hand for weeks but too worried I'd muck it up. Best tutorial I've seen for me and what I wanted. Had a go today and it looks pretty good for my first attempt.
Another great video, which is giving me the courage to do more self cutting and shaping if my beard, as opposed to going to a barber for help. I’m using you as my beard care guru, however, coincidentally, I have an appointment for haircut and light beard shaping this morning. I’ll be using your thoughts and suggestions as I try to explain to the barder what shape beard I am aiming for. Thanks again.
Michael
Thanks for the video! I've just turned 22 and am growing my first real beard, this will help me keep it maintained, as I don't trust anybody else to touch it!
Love the video. It really helped me on my first self beard trim. Been growing for a full year and trimmed about 3 inches off.. Epic beard btw!
Thank you your the one person on RUclips that inspires me to re grow a beard
Love your honesty and humbleness
Love from a town called Bradford England 😘
That's very flattering---Thanks!
Thanks for everything Greg. Much appreciated.
Thank you Greg! Awesome bottom trim.
I haven't had a long beard since high school. I'm tempted to give it another shot. Greg has inspired me.
#beardon
wait, how did they let let you have a long beard in high school?
Great video, looking forward for the stache video for some time. Such a nice moustache on you Mr Berzinski!
#KeepOnGrowing
Great video, Greg, very informative. I am always envious of you straight haired beard guys. I feel like you have many more options than us curly bearded dudes. I'd like someone with a big red curly beard like mine to make a video like this. Look forward to the mustache trim part two to this.
Whiskey Fett they also wish for our full curly beards that have their own pros and cons. Rock whatcha got! Beard on!!!
Whiskey Fett it's true, I wish my beard was Curly. I find it easier to cut curly hair than straight. It's very unforgiving to cut straight hair
I too have a large curly ginger beard. Maintaining and calming the beast is a struggle!
Thank you for the video Mr. Berzinsky
Thanks for the info Greg Berzinsky its helping a lot.!!
Looks good, thanks for the tips. Congrats on the 25 yrs btw!
Very helpful! I was getting scraggly, but heard horror stories from those who've tried dyi beard trimming. Followed your steps and it all worked out.
That edge softening technique could be really handy. I must try it next time I trim my beard
Van Hoover it's very important especially if your beard is straighter.
Great video and very helpful. I am going to have to try that trick on softening the edges.
I would be interested to see a video on beard scissors and what sets Beardbrands apart from others.
Keep on growing!
Matt Brashares if you go to the beardbrand website there's a description of the scissors which is helpful which talks about the quality of Steel, Etc. They are also very comfortable to hold.
Greg Berzinsky just used the technique to soften the edges and it worked amazingly! It gives a much more finished appearance. Thank you!
thanks greg, you are very helpful and even more awesome. you are the best at beardbrand. Again thanks again.
Your beard is magnificent, sir. Thanks for the video.
Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary , & I just love your Beard Greg' I turned 50 last month and my beard is similar colour to your own
Thanks for this great tutorial. It helped take the stress out of starting to trim my own beard.
Bye far the best self-trim result I've seen in a long time!
Wolfen thank you....glad you liked it.
Fantastic advice as always Greg, thank you!!! 👍🏻
We're always happy to help man!
-Josh
You definitely show other older people who's boss! Love the beard too.
RGHFlinks I hope to inspire, if possible.
Great videos I catch a lot of hell over my beard at work. Mostly because I look rather grizzly. My beard I sport now took about 16 weeks it grows rather quick. I do love how you make suggestions, and do's and don'ts, keep up the work and thank you.
As always Gerg looking fantastic.
And BEARDBRAND T-Shirt is also good.
Hemang Teotia Yes...the Tees Rock.
Looks great thanks for this informative video !
Great video! Helps a lot!
Great beard, I want mine like that haha. I'm not at a length for it to be trimmed yet, but you make it look so easy
I absolutely love the shape and Colour of your beard! 🤟❤️🤟
Can't imagine a better reason to shave Greg, plus you could really show these patchy bearded folks your beard journey from scratch! Not that my opinion matters, but I am hoping for a beardstache. Thanks for the awesome content, i also have only had a few lifetime pro beard trims, nice to see how you have developed your techniques. Cheers Berzinsky.
Joshua Carter there's an intrepidation with trimming a beard and even more so with cutting it back to beardstache. But never say never

Excellent beard trim, and great tache. I need to trim but no sure what look to go with
amazing beard and video.cheers from Canada
Ronald Isenberg Thanks Canada.
I like to take small steps when trimming my beard also. Congrats on the 25th anniversary - my wife and I celebrated our 25th last month.
Baby steps still get you there eventually. Beard on brother! Congrats on your anniversary as well!
-Josh
I've been seriously anxious about cutting my own so i'm looking forward to going over this a few times :')
small cuts......baby steps
Booooo you’re photo says you chopped it ofg
@@leecrotty658 oh that was quite done time ago now
Nicely done. I️ wish I️ had the balls to try that. I️ have a barber and only he cuts my beard. I️ love what u did. It’s squared off but not radical. Excellent job!!
awesome video's...keeps me so motivated ,especially through the fill in stages, i have always had a short beard but never had the will power to get it pass 8 weeks .but thanks to Gregs videos i am finally pushing through...:) even if the wife hates the stache ...lol
Thanks....try to keep the stache UP and SWEPT to the sides with wax....she might appreciated that.
I am struggling a bit with the stache because it isnt long enough to style but long enough that is is falling over the lip .what makes it harder is it grows straight down,i definitely will be looking into using a good wax to style it ,i've been using your "turn & pull" method with a brush to train it towards my cheek line and I am getting results ,i am just gonna keep at it....thanks again Greg for the awesome Videos .....Roshen from Durban ,South Africa
Hi Greg, Im probably about 3 months in to growing my first proper beard. I've always had facial hair, but usually kept clipped short. So at this three month stage I'm happy with the progress and getting used to the usual comments ;) I'm now at the stage I think of my first trim. My main question is the "neck beard" I know it needs to go, How far do I trim up? Love your videos, very well presented and what a fantastic beard!! Any advice would be much appreciated. Greetings fro the UK.
Thanks for the tips, stopping and wearing the cut for a few days is sound advice.
Very good instructions! These days I avoid goin to a barber shop. Thank you!
I can watch you caring about your beard the whole fucking day. Awesome.
Thanks for The finally good videos on RUclips
Thank you so much love these videos of you. I'm sure you've been told but you look like a cooler version of Phil from modern family lol.
I don't know beardbrand, but here in europe, Solingen-made scissors are the way to go. Great work on that trim! Very well done.
Great job. Whenever I try to use multiple mirrors I feel like I'm trying to slap the top of my head while rubbing my stomach and end up stabbing myself in the face with the scissors. But after my barber butchered half of my beard I dont trust anyone else but myself. Will practice until I get it down.
MrTShbib you need to get into the zone and only look at the mirror and never look down at what your hands are doing just watch your hands in the mirror.
These are like the guy version of makeup tutorials and I love that
K r e e The male version of makeup is facial hair.
Your beard is magnificent, Greg! Well, my beard in not long enough yet, but I think I wold be very frustrating if I trim it when it is time to trim it in a pair of months more and do it incorrectly. Your explanation is clear and your technique looks easy, but I have not enough courage to do it by myself.
Great channel! Ciao!
Baby steps man, that first cut is always the hardest. Watch the video as many times as you need, it'll be here when you're ready for that trim.
-Josh
Great video this guy is great thanks beardbrand
Happy to help out!
-Josh
Hell, I needed this.
shilpan dutta hope it helps.
Greg is a beard God! Happy Anniversary
Sam James Dutton On to the Golden!
Sm James Dutton Greetings Brother , that statement is not legit
My beard is about 10 inches long. I’ve been watching a lot of you’re videos. And I think I’m going to attempt to style it. Btw I tried the hair dryer trick worked wonders for me
Looks good man
So skillful! Impressive!
Mad skills, Power beard. more trim tutorials please. wear a dark T for us tho. grey on grey and we loose a little bit or definition there. Great tutorial thanks.
thank you for investing Greg!
how can a beard be so light/fluffy/smooth/straight? I use conditioner and oil, styling with fan and styling cream. Any other tips?
He makes it look so easy, and no matter what I do, I always end up ruining my beard, and I have to go back to really short so it doesn't look weird. Damn!
Congratulations on the anniversary
I Learned a lot from your videos, U R T Best on RUclips...your videos have no B.S...
True,loving,kindness...
The best video in this chanel for me 😇
Any tips for trimming my off hand side of the beard? It always feels awkward when I'm on the left side of my face.
Starting @ 8:57
How does cutting a series of small groups of hair in a straight line soften the initial blunt cut of the beard? I'm generally curious?
Greg, at what age did you begin getting gray hairs? I am 33 as of the 7th & I have gray in my beard, side burns, throughout my neck hair and the sides of my head. It's not completely gray, just spots here and there. Wondering how fast it comes on if you're going to end up mostly gray.
I'll have to rewatch this when my beard is longer and I need a trim. And I thought I was the only one with a very non-symmetrical jaw line! ;)
I'm almost ready to trim my first beard ever. I appreciate your advises. Thanks
Damn Greg been lifting! All kinds of gainzz
Shahid khan 5 months of beard gains....
The man with no name you can do it!!! There's a way to get your beard back to proper health. Dedication is the key 😊😊
The man with no name I gotta face my laziness 😂😂
The man with no name *Zeus

Congrats on 25! I'll be at 20 in a few months!
Great video
Greg thanks for video... very informatieve...
Great video! Just subscribed. My profile pic is nothing what I look now. Safe to say I could barely see my neck. So I am do for a trim but been hesitant. I’ve never trimmed it at this length hence why I’ve been stalling. But I will get the courage:)
Very helpful, Thank you Sir
Glad to help!
I have about same size beard and I trim mine all the time like yourself but I struggle with my wavey curly beard. Looks good then next day it looks odd shape again. Any advice bro ?

Glad you liked it! Greg did a great job on this trim!
- Jack
Wowww, eu tenho um medo absurdo de cortar a minha barba em casa e fazer algo errado. Minha barba é do tamanho da sua, tenho medo de me arrepender em corta-la. kk Parabéns pela coragem!!!
Nice trim Greg, stay bearded my friend.
Fear The Beard thanks!
It's a very awesome haircut for anyone or anybody to have it's exceptional
Wow!!!wonderful cut! Are you a hairdresser sir?excuseme for my English but i am italian man ,i live in Nord Italy
I envy so much people with straight hair and beards. My beard is dry and tends to be curly, it's really hard to shape. Do you know any tutorial on how to cut it?
What an amazing beard 💪
its nice to watch your videos because we have similar hair .... except yours is way more full and beautiful but we have matching spots where we can't grow hair near our chin (-: you give me hope
My beard is about 9" and I want to trim back to about 4". Would it work if I tied a ponytail with the hair I want cut below the tie, then use scissors to cut off the ponytail straight? Then tidy up strays with scissors?
wish my beard hair wasn't so wavy. have only trimmed my stash as i think if itry to comb and trim its kinda risky higher possibility to mess up
When he did the first cut I was like "holy shit nooooo". I'd be so afraid of ruining such a nice beard! You have the guts, congrats, bro!
Very good video. Thank you
Desmond Osullivan you have also nice beard mate
Desmond Osullivan Thank You!
Father Time, is that you?
