I'm not a very experienced cook, I started cooking regularly like half a year ago.
But this man really motivates me. His recipes seem so easy and he explains them so well! Cooking really starts to be fun for me. So much more delicious than fastfood!

The oil cools it down cause you're adding in something cold to a hot pan. Since oil is thicker than water it cools it down, instead of quickly evaporating.

Why would you be calm and compassionate when you're in a high pressure situation that's Costing YOU, and you're supposed to be Judging people on How they handle that high pressure. Some people, even chefs say that he is too aggressive and gives bad light to professional cooking, and tbh, those people are just fucking stupid, he has a slightly tough love approach to handling people who want to be great, but when nurturing young or amateur talent he is calm and patient, he Is one of the greatest chefs ever, not just famous, fame is from TV, 16 michelin stars aren't, they're from michelin critics, and those critics don't give their stars out for shitty food.

i didnt have red mullet so i replaced it with salmon, it was still so fucking good. has a great hearty and warm feeling to it. and the spice is just PACKED with flavor. im usually just used to only spice so it really surprised me when i started tasting so many different flavors in this dish.

Any kind of nut crust on fish is a winner, almonds, or pecans, or pistachios on a fish fillet is well worth experimenting with. i like to get a snack size bag of sourdough pretzel bits and mix them with smoked almonds in the food processor to make my crust. hmmmm good

Your home kitchen is on point! I think for like $10,000 you should do private dinners in your home. 5 course meal, little table for 2. You'd make a killing Gordon

I want to make this right now, I have everything for the recipe on hand, except red mullet, peanuts, chilies, fish sauce, green onion, rice wine vinegar, limes, and corriander. I hope the recipe is kind of flexible.
