Except Danny got literally nowhere. A guy who knew him said that he tried throwing his weight around at the Borgata for having won Hell's Kitchen and that apparently drew the ire of the other sous chefs in the kitchen. He quit after only a few months and ended up right back in the small town he was from.
User Chuck_E_Sleeze on Reddit, in response to a question:
"...he had this sense of entitlement but Ramsey isn't easy to work for, so i guess he was due that a little. But he couldn't hack it in New Jersey at The Borgata because it isn't everything it seems. He didn't get his own place, or was he even the executive chef. He was one of many other sous chefs there and the other ones didn't respect how he got there. They did a lot of grunt work to get to that position and he was kinda thrown into it. He came back kind of jaded."

Sorry to break some peoples dreams, but:
    1. The producers managed to add drama, for example ingredients were exchanged, in order to serve Ramsay just ... messed up food.
    2. Some winners didn't even get their promised Jobs, but they did actually win a huge amount of money.
    3. In some seasons, the contestants could win the title "Head Chef", which in the real world has almost no meaning.. only Executive Chef or Sous Chef are actual titles.
    4. The resturant you see, isn't a real resturant, the guests know very well, that they might not get any food at all, they are just there for payment or to have a chance to see themselves in TV or to even get... a free meal. Which was not certain, I must repeat.
    5. Many contestants were chosen because of their character, that´s it. In order to add drama, they chose short tempered people.
    6. Most sources confrim, that there were no scripts. But as I mentioned before, the producers did try to create situations, in which Ramsay could just go wild and rant at people.
    7. In addition, Drama was created by not letting the contestants have free time or huge amounts of food to cook for themselves. Many sources point out, that this is the reason why you see contestants fight for free meals or just free time in the show very hard and why they always seem very very happy about free meals.
    8. The Editing is HUGE in this show. The really tried to compensate for not having actual scripts. Many contestants confrimed, that the actual experience doesn't have much to do, with what you see on TV. In some episodes you can even see contestants in scenes, after they had already been kicked out. So much for editing ^^
