Phyllis was never afraid to fix a meal that was stick-to-your-ribs. Good taste, satisfying mouth feel, enough calories to make it so you aren't looking for another meal in an hour or two. She and Bucky were simple food gourmets, and it was cool that she left us all these meal ideas. RIP, P and B.
I just think she is amazing. And I love all of her recipes. I just found out yesterday she passed away a year ago and I just can't believe it. I am so sad. And seeing her video describing the pain she was going through just broke my heart. I will continue to watch her videos. I enjoy her recipes very much. What a beautiful heart she has and she's a beautiful woman
What I love the most about you Phyllis is that you are such a clean person, I enjoy watching you cook because you are cleaning as you go along and that makes your meals so much more appetizing. I immediately change channels as soon as I see some one cooking on top of a very dirty stove biggest turn off ever. Love you Phyllis I watch your channel every day
Mine twelve year old son asks every evening if the pie lady updated yet. He loves to watch you cook and you have sparked an interest of cooking for him. Thanks
This looks like something even I can make! I particularly like the beet/spinach/ orange juice salad, but without the sugar for me!! Thank you, Phyllis. I wonder if you can look down here and see people watching your videos!! Somehow I think you know!! We all still love you down here on Earth! I just hope God helps straighten out this country soon or sends Jesus back to help us! We sure do need it! I’m glad I’m getting old. I’m almost as old as you were when you crossed over! You know what they say. “Only the good die young!” , and you were still pretty young! 95 is old now!!!😁
Hi Phyllis, I've been recovering from spinal fusion surgery since January. Just wanted to let you know how helpful your videos have been during this time - they help me get through each day. And I've learned a lot too! Thanks so much for sharing your talents through RUclips. I hope you have a great day, Sarah
Phyllis, I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and have been binge watching ever since. I just wanted to take a moment and tell you what a lovely person I think you are. Your videos are so helpful and soothing to me and I really appreciate you so much. Thank you!
I so love and miss you Ms Phyllis. I'm sure Mr Bucky had a beautiful Mansion with a Grand Kitchen waiting for you when the lord took you home. Till we meet......
Phyllis - please pay no mind to those voicing their opinions that your choices are wrong. This is YOUR channel - if they don't like it they should just move on. I just don't understand why people, these days, feel the need to voice their OPINION on what ANY RUclipsr is doing "wrong". It's YOUR channel - keep doing what you're doing. There are schloads of us that enjoy your videos.
Ms. Phyllis - I know you have read this over and over, but I must add my voice in saying that you are such a brilliant teacher! Have you ever taught in a class before? Your voice is so soothing - as many have said. I hear the love of Christ in your voice and actions. Keep 'em coming! I appreciate all that you do to prepare for these videos! ❤️❤️❤️
I have never seen a tuna casserole recipe without noodles. This looks delicious, and I am going to try it. The salad look great as well. Thank you, Phyllis!
Phyllis, it just dawned on me what you, your wonderful videos remind me of, the Kraft sponsored commercials of the 50’s-80’s. Remember there would be a tv special, say a Christmas show, and every commercial was from Kraft, those homey demonstrations fascinated me, and you do too! Sending love, and thank you so much for all your hard work! ❤️❤️❤️
When I was a new bride in '68 the meals I knew how to cook was very limited. I made a tuna noodle casserole about once a week. My husband never complained until we had our first "disagreement". "By the way...never fix that tuna slop for me anymore!", he said. Ha ha! Thanks for the memories. I'm enjoying your channel immensely Phyllis.
I don't care what Phyllis cooks - I just like to listen to her talk. She reminds me a sweet cousin-in-law I have from Mississippi. Everyone in our family loves her and her accent is about the same. BTW, I love tuna casserole, but no one else in our household does. I'd be the only one eating it. I suppose I could substitute shredded boiled chicken breast to appease them!
Phyllis, I feel like you and I could be sisters we are so alike! I love watching you prepare recipes and take us viewers along on your everyday life. I also had a poodle and enjoy watching yours and hearing from Mr. Bucky. I do my smoothie every morning as well and sew and garden, and do little home projects and get some good ideas from you! I enjoyed your daily devotions segments and enjoy my visits with you very much.
OMGoodness, I had totally forgotten about those tiny jars of diced pimentos. Haven't seen those since I was a kid - we always had a jar in the house. I think I will give this recipe a try, but will substitute with canned chicken. Enjoy a tuna sandwich every other month or so, but otherwise isn't my most favourite. Thanks for the awesome memories Phyllis. :)
Phyllis, you amazement me,in all the years I have been watching your videos you have never cooked the same meal twice....lucky Mr Bucky. Thank you for all your training. Blessings!!
Phyllis Stokes, I made your tuna casserole yesterday. Was very good. Tried scrambled eggs your way too. Delicious. Will only make scrambled eggs your way going forward, and I'm sure I'll think of you every time! Hope all is well with you and Mr. Bucky. Sunny is so adorable. What a little toot he is! Love you and your videos!!
Looks like another winner Phyllis!!! I make tuna casserole but never like this and I'm going to give this one a try! It's beautiful and such a healthy perfect salad to side it with!
My goodness, I could dive into this beautiful dinner! Powdered milk is a staple in my kitchen--so many great uses for it. I like the substitute for cream soups, that saves on sodium. Thank you for a wonderful dinner idea. Just adore you & your channel content! Be well, ~~QM
I will be trying this recipe very soon, Phyllis. It will be my first time making my own white sauce but I have seen you do it more than once so now I have more confidence. My daughter loves tuna. Also, just wanted to thank you again for all your hard work making these videos. I love your recipes!!-------Tressa Daigle
Rebecca Davis, you can leave out the pimentos. When I made tuna casserole, I used chunk light tuna. It's very good to me. I also like to add onions and bell pepper and egg noodles rather than bread crumbs.. Really that's the beauty of casseroles. They are so adaptable to what you have on hand and your own food preferences. Although I agree with most of what is said here about Fukishima and Monsanto, I enjoyed Miss Phyllis' site better without the negative comments and politics. Her You Tube site has been like a breath of fresh air, because of the absence of politics and smart alec comments. Thanks, Miss Phylllis for your kindness.
Exactly my discovery with her refreshing tone of narrative as she prepares. I've fortunately found a zone free of the harping everywhere else about sugar, gmo, fats, butter, ... this is a reprieve. For five or more years I've done tons of reading of the doom/ gloom of the SAD (standard American diet) at Mercola dot com. The experts who write in the comments section of his daily essays are enough to make you very sad that you are being bombarded with gmo's whether you seek to avoid it or nor. They discuss the conditions of the growing soil and its depletion of minerals.... both shocking and amazing to read these comments written by microbiologists, nurses, doctors. HERE, though, I feel I've come back home. I may know the American diet is faulty but the alternative is unbelievably daunting. (growing one's own... never eating bread, anything with flour, sugar, canned, processed---- yikes.) Monsanto has patented all plants//plantlife and these are scientists who want to Genetically Modify the nucleus of all plants for the alleviation of world hunger. You can go to mercola's site and find the topics explaining it all. Most of the developed nations have banned Monsanto... not us though.
I think my dad and sister will love this. Thank you for sharing so many of your recipes with us. Gonna try to make those Moravian Spice Cookies sometime in the future, and my grandmother is trying out your baked apple dumpling recipe.
Another beautiful recipe to prepare for my grandkids who absolutely love Tuna casserole. Love the canned soup substitute and also the addition of the beats and orange juice as the spinach dressing. I just made it with diced beets since that's what I had in the pantry. Mmmmm Mmmm good. Thanks Phyllis. You're a keeper! ❤🍞🌱
Hi Phyllis: This is the first time I have written but I love your recipes I love your demeanor I love everything about your posts. I am praying for you desperately that God will completely heal you and bring you back to us again. Love you.
Miss Phyllis, thank you so very much for giving me lots of other options for meals. Those that don't like tuna could probably use other types of fish, including leftover baked fish. I'm vegan so I use walnuts or pecans instead of meat or fish; also beans and other veggies (especially greens); and non dairy choices...like thickened veggie stock/broth I make myself. Thank you so much Miss Phillys for all of your wonderful cooking and cost cutting tips. I really appreciate all of your videos so much. Can't thank you enough. God bless you!
That's the best looking tuna casserole I've ever seen, definately making it ! I love the looks of the beet & spinach salad... love , love beets! Thank you for this recipe ! Blessings ! 🦋
Mrs. Phyllis this looks absolutely delicious! I am going to make the casserole tomorrow for my nephews as I am sure they are going to love it and the beets.....I love beets!! Thanks so much for sharing! I just love you and so look forward to seeing your videos!! 😀👍😋🤤
I love tuna casserole but not hubby. I have to make due with tuna salad only every now and then. The comments are annoying me, but I am going to try to ignore them, because I don't want to upset Ms. Phyllis. She is delightful.
We were too poor for food like that, I never saw a tuna casserole until I was 20. 8 kids and $2 per meal is how my mother managed and she did a great job. Thank you for showing me the things that we missed. I love it !! I eat tuna casserole all the time now
Interesting way to make the tuna. I remember we used that jar pimento cheese and the very thin noodles. Potato chips on top. Geeze that was a long time ago. :)
This looks so yummy - I am going to try your white sauce as I really don't much like the Campbell's soups with all their sodium, etc. Thanks for a great video, Phyllis. I love your channel!
This looks delicious. You just helped me with dinner tonight. And I made the pineapple cheese tidbits..oh my soooo good and completely gone and it’s just the two of us. Lol!! Ready to make another batch. Thanks again Phyllis.
Thanks so much for sharing these recipes! I will be making both soon. My husband who dislikes tuna may like this. Maybe I'll use chicken.....but the tuna might tast like chicken anyway! You are so detailed with your recipe sharing that I have no questions afterwards. I appreciate all you do!

THAT BEET DRESSING LOOKS SO DELICIOUS. I WOULD NEVER HAD THOUGHT OF USING BREAD INSTEAD OF NOODLES IN A TUNA CASSEROLE BUT SINCE I AM DOING KETO I CAN BAKE A LOW CARB BREAD AND MAKE THIS. I LOVE TUNA CASSEROLE THANK YOU.
This does look delicious and I have never found a recipe that I like so i have just stopped trying to make a good one. But you may have changed my mind Ms. Phyllis...... thanks
I was using Progresso cream of chicken soup until I saw "Titanium Dioxide" in the ingredients to make the soup look like real cream. Never again! SO glad to see this alternative.
Hi Phylis, Mr Bucky nd my two beautiful babies. Thank u so very much for ur quick response which I will certainly go to when next I have a good few mins. Yum! I miss this lady’s videos. She and her husband were amazing souls.
I think Phyllis and Buckys home should be turned into a museum that shows her videos. A treasure
Mine twelve year old son asks every evening if the pie lady updated yet. He loves to watch you cook and you have sparked an interest of cooking for him. Thanks
The two boys are blessed to have these videos. Most children dont have their parents on video like this

I was thinking the same thing about substituting chicken if I didn't have tuna-sounds delicious😋
Phyllis, this one is a definite keeper, both the casserole and the beets. Thanks so much for sharing. Have a Blessed day.
I LOVE tuna noodle casserole and this looks delicious! I can't wait to try this - and the beet / spinach salad too! TFS!

Hearing Miss Phyllis ' voice and her clock ticking... all you need is a good rain. Very relaxing!
Love that Tupperware canister! Thanks for the yummy recipes.
You are "right on" in choosing that particular orange juice. It is really the best tasting by far. We love it.

My mother (back in the 60s and 70s) used to really like cooking casseroles with chopped pimentos.
Your videos remind me of my Home Ec cooking classes. Love the recipes you share.
Oh I love how clean the stove is❤️ This seems to be pretty frugal too!
This looks so yummy - I am going to try your white sauce as I really don't much like the Campbell's soups with all their sodium, etc. Thanks for a great video, Phyllis. I love your channel!

It would also be good with chicken, I think I'll try this recipe soon. Thank you Phyllis!
Fabulous meal!
Very artistic and different casserole dinner. Thank you for sharing it, Phyllis Stokes. xoxo
I’m about to make the beet dressing to top over kale and I will add almonds on top! Love you guys and have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
Thank you again for making the white sauce. That way I have control of the salt. People need to be reading labels for salt, sodium, levels in things.
Miss you!!

Looks delicious!! I wish my husband would eat this kind of stuff. However I might just try it for my self.
You remind me how my mom cooked. Always from scratch a true purist!

Hi and Thanks, Miss Phyllis 😊 I would like this dinner very much and will definitely be making very soon. It has to be delicious!! 💞
I love tuna casserole and used to make it all the time. Mine was simpler but I bet this one is better.
I was using Progresso cream of chicken soup until I saw "Titanium Dioxide" in the ingredients to make the soup look like real cream. Never again! SO glad to see this alternative.
