    I miss Phyllis. She reminds me of my mom's family. Cooking was love. I love these old recipes. On my mother's last birthday, I fixed all her favorites. I still remember what I made, and I've never made those dishes again. Maybe it's time I made them again, to honor her.

    Mrs Phyllis I stayed up all night watching so many of your videos. I feel like I've known you for years. You are a true inspiration. You make me want to be a better woman, wife, mother , grandmother. Thank you very much. You should've been a teacher. You are better than any home economic teachers I had. Think schools need that course again in middle and high school. We need to change schools to go back to basics with new. This will help every person. Thank you again for sharing so much!

      Same here....! Been unable to stop watching all night, & its now 6:30 a.m.....and I also mentioned Ms. Phyllis would have been a fantastic home econ. teacher....sadly so many high schools today cut out home econ. classes due to budget restraints; and more women working outside home led to less home-cooking (& less healthy eating!) Keep on making these great videos, Mrs. P...we NEED you!

    • @MA-iu5hu
      @MA-iu5hu 4 года назад +10

      I agree we need home economics in school, for all genders because they’re just necessary skills. I’ve met 50 year olds who can’t fry themselves an egg, and I’ve gotten big thanks from parents of kids I babysat for teaching their kids to cook something. It’s a special thing to be able to nurture people on a physical level

    I made this casserole this weekend and it was so delicious. I added to the ground beef Boars Head brand chicken sausage and it gave it a very zesty Italian flavor. The dish is unique and is almost like a cross between lasagna and deep dish pizza and it is easy to make and very rewarding. Thank you so much for sharing this and I wish you could know you how much your videos and spirit help people.

    This looks delicious! I love those kind of casseroles and so does my husband. The way I get out all the sauce from the jar is to add the wine I am using and pour that into the jar after I dump the spaghetti sauce from the jar, and shake it up, then pour it into my pan. It gets ALL the sauce out of the jar and no bit of waste.

    Looks great! So you and Mr. Bucky like a little casserole with your cheese, LOL. Ooey gooey goodness. My Mom never made anything like this when I was a kid in the 60's. I would have loved it. She made spaghetti, her idea of chilli and the only ;pizza we had as kids was Chef Boyardee's pizza in a box, LOL. I have a casserole I make very similar to this that uses pizza sauce instead of spaghetti sauce. My daughter came up with it on her on and passed on to me. I amped it up a little more. She is a pepperoni fiend where as while I love pepperoni I also like more variety in my "toppings" .

    One of the best spices I came across is roasted garlic blend. It's one I love to use. This looks good. Yummy.! Thanks for the video ms phyllis.☺

    I love the way you cook, much like me. I love cheese too!
    I made your buttermilk pie and chocolate buttermuttermilk lies for our Fourth of July desserts. Two people asked for the recipe! I am enjoying your videos, which I discovered last week! I am 74.

    Hello! This looks superb! It could be called 1 pot pizza! Haha! Everything in it, minus the pasta, -although I have seen pasta on pizza-goes on a pizza! This looks filling, healthy, and yummy! I must say, I love your big pot, it is hard finding one that size to feed my 6 kids, so I am envious! plus so far all your recipes have been a huge success with my family! I love that I learn something new each time, like your trick to boil eggs. Most of us who have been cooking for awhile, get used to something 1 way, and then someone comes along and shows us something different, and it shows us that there are still new things to learn, so it takes us out of our rut! I love that, so again I say thank you, for spicing things up for me!, keep on sharing!

    I really, really like this one! Wow! I even have everything to make it too. Thank you SO much, I need this for this weekend when I will be very busy and need a meal that doesn't take forever, and easy clean up too. Those peppers, onions and mushrooms look so delicious that it made me hungry. I even use the same noodles and sauce that you do. Can't wait to make this one. Bless, Sheila

    I'm addicted to your videos. I know you're allergic to black pepper, but this dish would have more zing with 2-3 dashes of red pepper and a splash of heavy cream! try it and see!! yummmmm

    5=21=20 Looks exactly like may spagetti sauce, big chunks and all!! That is what I love about certain recipes, especially italian cooking, it all can be anything. German goulash can come forth out of this recipe also!! Miss you Miss Phyllis so much.
