On the upper right of the inventory screen there is an options menu that lets you always show inventory mount points. You can then just drag them from the numbers rather than having to take them off the armor itself.

I think the small canisters are really ment for doing minor repair and keeping a small amount of RMC on your character. Hand salavaging was ment to be done with the salvage backpack which is not fully functional yet but it is in the game.
Your profits should jump significantly with the backpack. I'm just not sure how they are going to work out storing the RMC after the backpack is full. Great video!

Double clicking something in an inventory location will try to equip it to any free slot on your character.
At the top-right of Inventory screen, click the gear icon then check the option to show all equipment slots (i forget the exact wording, but you'll know it when you see it.) Then you can quickly drag those off to your backpack.
I'd also keep the food and drink in your chest/leg armor so that you can just click Move All to dump the full cans into your ship.
Then double click your stack of empty cans to fill your belt with empty cans, then drag the stack of empty cans to your backpack, and repeat!

As far as salvage goes… I’ll be sticking to my vulture 😂. But if they figure out a way to stack the cans it could be a fun thing to do and a reason to get out your little ship and make a little money! Change it up here and again.

I probably wouldn't bother doing this as a money maker, but I'd consider doing it once in a while to have a staff of 10-20 cans of RMC to do minor self repairs in the field.
I still don't know if repairing with RMC can actually fix damaged engines (which is my main reason for stopping for repairs in my Corsair), but if it can, then I will definitely start doing that.

I think I would choose hand mining in caves then, say on Hurston. In an hour, sometimes hour and a half, I was able to mine 130 pieces of Hadanite stored in my armor/backpack (largest I could find) which sold for approx. 36 K aUEC on a nearby station. Thank you for this, I was wondering if this gameplay loop was profitable, but as of yet it isn't worth the time sync. However, with some further development from CIG I could see it, I would have said they should take a higher price for the smaller canisters, as well as have vendors sell them. Would be cool if you were going out for an exploration to be able to buy several canisters already full for repairs, especially if you are somewhere that readily available salvage is.

Okay, so you inspired me to try this because it looks fun (to me).
I spent more than an hour to prepare and to go to the location. I'm a newbie, okay. I need time to figure out things. Like you can't just travel to Yela from Area 18.
I mean, you can't set route, because... you can't set route more than 2 stops. Touche. I went to Crusade. From Crusade to Daymar, because Yela was obsctructed and I still couldn't set a route. Thankfully I was able from Daymar. Okay, I'm at the belt. Flew around here and there when I finally found some good looking scrap. Cool!
Now open back of the ship, shut down, hop into the space! Equiped my multitool, added the canister as attachment. Approached the selected scrap and...
I can't salvage. If I selecet salvage, the "Canister is full", if I select repair the "Canister is empty". I hit reload a couple of times, nothing changed. Can't salvage. Fuck this shit.
This game did nothing from the first login than dip its balls deep in my mouth.
Ship blew up at landing because of no reason > gear byebye.
I was looking for my blown up ship the get the gear back... > Fell under starport of Area 18 and quit right away.
I was leaving a planet and a ship came close, then 1 second something on the coms > got Crime Stat 1 and 20K fine...
Went to surrender myself, but put my gear into my ship's storage and stored it. Spent time in jail, claimed my ship. > Yep, indeed, gear byebye.
And now this shit. When will this game be fun?

Double clicking on a cannister in any inventory should auto-equip it, like magazines, isn't it ?
Draging and dropping an item on another item from the same type should stack them up (useful to de-clutter your inventory).
In your vehicle inventory, clic "sort" then choose an empty category, it will makes it way easier to transfert items in (the vehicle inventory will appear as empty, so no unwanted item switching).
Or, if you can, get all your non-cannister items in your core / legs inventory, keep all your cannisters in your backpack and then use the "move all" button to transfer everything at once.
If you are really serious about this, the quickiest way I can think of would be:
Grab a lot of backpacks in your ship inventory
Get the 'cannister "sort" tab' only filled with empty cannisters (use a container for any item that would be in the same tab)
Transfert all your items in your core / leg compartiment and keep only cannisters in your backpack
    Go salvage
When you have to swap, access your ships inventory
    Drag the full backpack in
    Equip an empty backpack
    Switch to the cannister's tab
Left clic as crazy to fully equip with empty cannisters
Fill your backpack with empty cannisters
    ????
    Profit

I think the issue where you had to sell each individually is becuase you had them all in single stacks. Are you not able to stack all of them together into a single stack of 10 or something?

you can do 5 of the most basic bunker missions solo and make a BUNCH more cash within the same time. No special gear needed and no skills needed.

is it just me or is eva, especially in structures and ships, not nearly as good as it used to be? I can remember floating through the colvex station years ago and being blown away by how smooth and intuitive it was. now it's a puke/clip through walls/die from the slightest bump fest

TL;DR = 189 UEC per can. 30 minutes of mining 10 cans is 1,890 UEC. Get a ROC go mine hadanite, you’ll make a lot more. Wait till the ship is available to buy with in game money or buy it with real money if you’re impatient.

@@expressmangaming650 I was thinking that having this stuff "on hand" would be more viable and worth the time to collect some bottles of the stuff. Question I have though is the repair mechanic in the game yet or is that a 3.19 thing? If the latter, then it would seem this will be pointless to do until 3.19 because of the planned wipe at release of 3.19. Thoughts?

    • @GokouZWAR
      @GokouZWAR Год назад

also you said 18 thousand... by my math it was 188 per can, not 18,800 per can... did I miss something? by my math, 25,000 SCU giving you 189 per can means the value is actually 0.00756 which explains why they say 25000 uSCU per can, that means its a decimal of a single SCU to make the value of it be .025 SCU making the value per .001 of SCU be 7.56k aUEC. That way they don't have to give you a 0.00 value for a full SCU which you basically get peanuts for each can. This is really not a very good replacement for hand mining in any way. The value per SCU is garbage compared to hand mining, and its far too simple to salvage compared to mining.
