@@jurt00 Don't let it get to you bro. He is a clever guy who knows how to draw in the views on his channel. Nothing more. If you are happy with your phone then nothing else really matters.
Galaxy S23 is the iPhone 14 Pro of the Android world. Similar specs, similar performance, similar size. Rather significantly bigger than iPhone mini. S23 is better overall than those two iPhones.
With Samsung DEX feature, for some reason, one of the most underrated features, S23 is the best flagship choice at the moment if one prefers "small" size phones.
I find iOS convoluted and inflexible for simple tasks. For example, if I want to adjust the volume and screen brightness on my S20, I download One Hand Operation + and customize the side panel to suit my needs. I hook my phone either wired or wireless to any monitor or streaming devices and use Dex at the resolution of the monitor or TV. Alternate keyboards like Gboard and SwiftKey work great on Android but are terrible on iOS. Finally, Apple’s walled garden means most accessories are overpriced or proprietary.
I totally agree with you on that, I did have the S22 Ultra then I went down to the regular S22 because I felt like I didn't need the S Pen and wasn't using it as much as I hoped and yes again the 10X zoom is something I would miss but 3X will do plus I do more videos than photos and I hope to get the S23 this year because of the upgraded battery and SD 8Gen2
I switched from iPhone 6+ to Samsung A50(my brother bought for my father, but my father Don't want it😅) Then I relised that the flagship phone is not necessary for me.😊
If I needed a new phone right now, I would pick up the S23. It’s a great phone overall for it’s price. The only down side is that I’m not a huge fan of their camera processing
i just got a FULL upgrade to the S23 for my A50. Of coarse I spent $200 (Case, $35 upgrade charge , and lets not forget a charger which does not come with) but only $65 was for transfer of data and the upgrade charge. Thus far im liking the phone, it brand new but i went 3 days this weekend and only used 55% of the battery.
I upgraded from an iPhone 7 to a Pixel 7 and I really love it, but watching this video majes me happy to know now that Im in the android market I habe a lot of great options open to me
The battery life gains are not entirely from the chipset upgrade. Other phone vendors using the 8gen2 didn't see anywhere close to the same gains Samsung got over the S22 Snapdragon range (gains over Exynos are obviously expected). Most have seen a 5-10% gain at most over their 8gen1 predecessors, while the S23 Ultra gained as much as 24%. That comes down to some serious software stack optimization.
Not really, mahority part is on the chipset. Samsung did not use the normal 8gen 2 ones They used the ones which are specially boosted for samsungs. The chips used in s23 series is only available with samsung
@@shakespeareinthepark1628 an overclocked CPU core and GPU wouldn't equate to better efficiency, but rather worse efficiency. That isn't helping Samsung here, and neither is the different ISP (the only other difference vs the regular 8g2). Software plus the chipset are both important factors here.
Yup, Samsung MAKES its own display, battery(SDI), DRAM(#1 in memory), isocell(semi chip for cam sensor), SOC(only 2 companies to manufacture nano3 and just surpassed TSMC with nano 3 tech) but their optimization or never really had software power. Been 2years that they put some effort in and paying dividends. Apple buys its parts and assemble but usually has better result because of their optimization. They have zero hardware tech. Currently watching on my s23
Wow two ads in the video
I've had iPhones for years but I did like the Samsung experience.. I didn't switch because no Samsung matched my iPhone's camera and battery. Well finally, the Samsing S23 does! And I love it!
This guy only says what people want to hear. Not his Real Opinions.
Because you don't agree with what I said? 🤷♂️
You have an I Watch ultra in your hand and you are now switching to Samsung. If we check your video I don’t think you have ever used an iPhone and you are more of a biased Samsung user
Switched from iphone 11 pro max to s23, much better and lighter and easier to use one-handed. Got tired of iphone and needed a change really
Is 23 worth it upgrade from S22+
Probably not. Not even s23+
It's been only a year lol
Wait 3-4 years
2 days later: switching back to iphone
🤣
This is one big April fool joke isn't it Pete?...😊
Jokes! Back to iPhone 😃
when people uses more of their brain. people will eventually switch to android s23
And MKBHD callerd this gem "The Bust of the Year" in his MID-SEASON Smartphone Awards. The man has CLEARLY lost his touch (and his mind).
Yeah that's an interesting one. Haven't seen his reasons on why yet though, maybe I missed that video
@@PeteMatheson He HASN'T made a video on the S23 yet. And there's NO REASON, WHATSOEVER, that justifies him calling it "The Bust of the Year".
@@sayeelparab1422 you do know that was an April fools video, right?
@@ccarazay Did you even watch the full video? In the end, he gets serious and reveals the real winners for each category, in an on-screen graphic.
@@sayeelparab1422 oh well I don’t know why your crying because I doubt it will be the bust of year come MKBHD’s actual phone awards in December.
Why are you so upset over a phone rating anyway? And name a phone that is more of a bust than the S23 since the beginning of the year. I’ll wait.
😭 I really want this phone so badly but can't afford 😭
Look for some good trade in deals, you can get some bargains!
@@PeteMatheson the main prob is that I can't even get it in my country lol. That's one of the biggest issue that Nigeria has. Everything from apps to gadgets just don't come here to Nigeria so even if I had the money I can't still get it
@@theangeldesu what phone did you end up getting?
@@e.a6851 none lol. Couldn't afford to get a new one lol 😹
I bought S23 + amazing phone
Please try xiaomi 13,😊
Hoping to!
Im lucky to get 1 day out of my s23 ultra... ive had it for 2 weeks
In reality uses an iPhone 📱 14 pro max 😂 off camera 🎥
Using S23 Ultra actually! 😎
S23 or Iphone 13?
How many times did you switch from iPhone 😂😂😂
Eleventy two?
@@PeteMatheson appreciate your sense of humor 😅
This guy really be copying mrwhosetheboss so hqrd
Just the video I was looking for...
Pretty sure the pixel 7 pro is cheaper and pretty much dunks on the regular s23. Could be wrong but if I was going to spend another £800 it'd probably be on another hazel 7 pro😂
Fair play! Comments were more around the crazy discounts you can get on the S23, which don't seem to be available for the Pixel range!
Why’s your phone is so cheap?
