I made the big mistake of buying a Garmin for 400$ instead of but an awesome tablet for cheaper and getting truckerpath hammer etc... Garmin really sucks
My biggest complaint with it is if you're next to a stop, any stop, on say a is highway and stop at the red light next to it, it will pull up and ask about the truckstop even if that's not your destination, it's very insistent on doing that and actually annoys the crap outta me when it does it, because then I have to interact with it to be able to see the map again
@@sdbaker89 I know what it's trying to do but it doesn't need to be doing that when I'm at a red light or simply driving by one on the interstate while using it's navigation.
@@TwiztedD I use the navigation as a backup to the Qualcomm, and for when the Qualcomm goes down, I've found that the paths between Truckers Path and the Qualcomm can actually vary significantly, to the point where I actually had to ask dispatch where a specific place was because Qualcomm and Truckers path gave vastly different locations. Turned out truckers path was correct and mac19 was extra unhelpful lol.
It doesn’t seem like the free version has truck routing is it worth paying for that? I’m trying to get an app that’ll route me around traffic whenever possible but keep me on truck roads

It’s just trying to update information for other drivers and yes it can be annoying for sure but updated I go is priceless on the road
