I'm curious at what will happen in season two tbh. Watching the "Squid Games: The Challenge" I reminisce back to when I watched the show for the first time. I feel the suspense that happened in season one and I'm excited for season two. I wonder what will be different and what will be the same...I'll watch season one again to remember all the details for season two. Just in case we get some flashbacks 😭🤭

A truly genius and amazing series. The genre is suspense thriller. Also a sad, sad story. Especially episode 6, the marble game.
I think It could also be labeled as "Psychological Horror."
Exactly after the marbles episode you see half of your favorite characters killed. That episode made me more sad then any of the others
I miss the show. It ruled the world when it was released.
Don't start this one unless you have time to binge the whole thing. There is honestly no other way to watch it. It was impossible to stop. So incredibly good!

I rarely say this because sometimes, shows tend to be overhyped, but I literally pulled an all-nighter for this one. Definitely, a must-watch!
Agreed and said perfectly, I watched the trailer and then first episode and was instantly hooked. Very good story with good plot and extremely extensive character development.
This is just a korean ripoff of the Japanese shows As The God's Will and Kaiji. Kinda old concept tbh.

I was stationed in munsan in 98... I drove a truck all over that country... I loved the people and the weather.. i tried to keep away from the big cities... The farmers up north in munsan invited us for dinner all the time.. cant tell you how many times we were invited into peoples homes and ate dinner with them.. i recommend everyone to visit korea ❤️❤️❤️

Just bought a temporary subscription (3 months long) to Netflix to watch this series. I have not been disappointed so far! Squid Game is a masterpiece. I love everything: from its plot, to actors and its setting made up of colourful stairs going up and down...absolute perfect!

Scene about marbles was huge character developing! That scene portrayed the true story about selfish, manipulation and heroisme in just 1 game! MASTERPIECE!
For real it really shows that ppl are friends and whatever but what they’ll really do to each other when it comes down to it , thr part with the marbles when it was a pair of 2 per team and they figured that they have to face eachitther was so sad it gave me chills
Watching how they all struggle in the marble game to survive was gut wrenching and then to see the husband came back without his wife was so sad.

It was also a little over the top at times and "anime-ish" which makes sense because it was adapted from a manga. The start was great but I prefer Squid Game.

this is the biggest out of nowhere success since stranger things not a lot of marketing just the word of mouth was staggering, i can bet netflix will make an american remake with a famous lead actor that probably will suck
I don't think so actually. Korean entertainment has hit our screens for the long run; no adaptations will be necessary because they no longer are viewed by a small niche
It's hard to remake this with american remake. Squid Game had a lot of korean cultural references that is embedded in games itself, language wise word play and terms aren't easily translated and would lose it meaning.
PEOPLE SEEM TO TAKE THIS OUT OF CONTEXT. I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING THAT THEY COULDN'T. I JUST SAID THAT IT'S GOING TO BE HARD, UNLESS IT'S A TOTALLY DIFFERENT VERSION. This can be said for all aspects of life and things, including you who likely has the same name as hundreds of other humans, learn to enjoy the little things dork.
I'm so glad I didn't watch any trailers. Had no idea about the series and watched it out of curiosity as to why it's #1 on Netflix. What a shocking suspenseful surprise. One of the best series on Netflix. Hoping for season 2.

The last episode clearly leaves the the door open for a second series but the director himself has said he currently has no plans for a sequel and if he did he would rely on a team of writing staff as it took him six months just to write the first two episodes alone.

I got so depressed at the end, the characters are so well written it just feels real. And the actors are extremely good it just hurts.

Many pass by a homeless person and it's like they are avoiding an obstacle on the street. They see a person get assaulted or killed on TV and won't even flinch. Sometimes I fear for what the future of humankind might look like.

There is no more cruel description in this series than Saw. However, the conflict and emotional description between characters in cruel games are detailed. This is a must-watch Netflix series!!!
