The Silent Sea | Official Trailer | Netflix

During a perilous 24-hour mission on the moon, space explorers try to retrieve samples from an abandoned research facility steeped in classified secrets.
Now this is what we call a trailer. No spoilers, and building up of tension and keeping us on the edge.
There is little bit of spoilers
I started only watching the 1st half of trailers and then deciding if its a go to theater, or wait until blu ray or add to streaming list movie. Comedy trailers are worse the offenders.
Haha just wait till they spoil everything on the second trailer... 😂
what edge? it's going to be zombies or something you can bet on it
Suicide squad (2016) was a more “fun” trailer, but I get that this genre can’t be fun.

Korea deserves a lot of praise, every piece of content they produce is outstanding. I definitely be want to go back one day. Great country!
Korea indeed has commendable productions, but it goes beyond what the entertainment / media gatekeepers have curated for mainstream Western society (i.e. what you see publicized on the platforms you visit is a small subset).
There have also been countless amazing productions from other East Asian countries for decades. Most outside the region are unaware because few explore outside their “bubble” platforms unless they have more global exposure. Many underestimate the amount of curation and control few media players have over the media they consume on a daily basis.

@@unite_the_sixgamingchris7788 bruh what
@@unite_the_sixgamingchris7788 if you don’t stfu that sounds like shit nonsense
@@unite_the_sixgamingchris7788 I think the question is "What goes wrong". What is the grand secret people have to cover up. Does it have anything to do with 'water' itself? Scarecity being manufactured perhaps? I still have a lot of questions after seeing this even if the 'premise' you've outlined is a template for many of these movies. Resident Evil (first movie) had people sent to find out that 'what went wrong' was zombies. Interstellar had 'what went wrong' be a human nature issue where survival of the planet relied on a human being's willingness to die alone so that people wouldn't waste valuable time coming to the planet they arrived on. In that movie, the proverbial 'villain' is simply a man who wants to live.
So there's a lot of room to tell a fantastic story here, even if the template is as you suggest.
Their suits look like the ones from interstellar haha

Wuz good bot
OMG, Even 2 min trailer thrills me so badly. Another masterpiece?
I thought it's just a movie by the looks of the production. Gadd, I'm excited for this series
How r u dear
I love the creativity behind this series. Very great series.
Damn, South Korea is pumping out just a ton of quality films and tv shows the last few years. This looks incredible! I know what I'm doing Christmas Eve!
The Silent Sea is a good metaphor for space.
I think it's also a reference to the Mare Tranquilliatas aka The Sea of Tranquility basalt plains on the Moon.
@@ScorpionViper1001 that is correct. The show's title in Korean is Sea of Tranquility.
Bae Doona + Heo Sung Tae + Gong Yoo + Lee Joon? I already know this is going to be phenomenal!
Truuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeee
This show is epic
S Korea never fails us
Holly Molly the trailer looks so good, No extra revealing and no too much of info left out, Perfect SUSPENSE
Looks like the guy from squid games using his money to build a space ship 🧐
Where ever you are...
Whom ever you are....
I'm coming for you!
Loll
No he's the guy want to travel to Busan
He is from train to Busan too
Dude went from normal dad on a zombie train to a guy who slapped people in the subway and now he's in among us
Ok, so the Squid Games contestants are off to the Moon. 🚀
I finished the whole season in one sitting, it was that good.
Hahaha!Me Too!!
Same here
Same😅
The cast looks amazing saw them a few times already in other shows.
This looks promising.
The guy is from, train to Busan! He's a really good actor
@@rickiex he was in squid game too
Everyone talking about Bae Doona but I'm excited to see more of Heo Sung-tae. After watching squid game, I really wish he had more central roles and leads in movies and TV. (It seems like he is going to be the negligent governement guy who is the reason the main characters are uninformed of what they end up getting into.) Still, absolutely love his diverse acting skill and am looking forward to seeing him in this. Still hoping to see him as a lead in a movie or show now that he is what is obviously his prime.
kira kau lain dari yang lain la? uuu tahniah la uuu
Watch him in "beyond evil" he had a really prominent role there
He is completely awesome in Psycopath Diary
LOL you just know him by squid game only and act like youre his big fans🤣you make me laugh so many time🤣you should be clown dude, you have a talent😂
@@deanwinchester7600 dia faham ke apa kau cakap🤣
Gong yoo is the one of the best actor of Korean film industry waiting for this movie anxiously !
‼️MAJOR SPOILER‼️
I really hate you gongyoo why do you always have to sacrifice yourself everytime! How many times do you have to break my heart!!! 😭 Another masterpiece from South Korea. They never disappoint! A must watch!
Please for anyone watching these movies... watch it with subtitles. Like Bong Joon Ho director of Parasite said: “Once you overcome the 1-inch-tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films". English dub will never appropriately capture the emotions and acting conveyed by the Korean actors. Do them the honor of hearing their voices while they act and just read the damn subtitles.
I love when I'm watching something and see that I already love two of the actors
Also the guy from train to busan is here too let's not forget this guys mastery, I know i've watched him before squid game
[SPOILER ALERT]
i just finished it in one sitting. not gonna lie i came for gong yoo with neck tattoo but i stayed for the plot. i haven't watched that many outer space related sci-fi but i think the writer did a good job in terms of creativity. while the plot is pretty common (a group of people are sent to the space for a mission --> the government bailed them --> they have small chance to live and go back home), but the delivery.. man. you can really feel the suspense and horror, and that part when doc hong discovered the cloning storage room was *chef's kiss* for me. idk if they'll have a season 2 or not but i hope they will.
