As someone who never played the game, I still found the first season to be incredible. The art style of the show alone makes it a worthy watch, but the complex plot lines, characters, and fight scenes really knocked it out of the park.
the good thing is theres almost no story in the game that shows this. theres a few lines here and there if both characters are picked in a match but thats it
I am telling you that everything made FROM the game is pretty good, animations, lore, fan art etc. However actually playing the game with the community is an experience you shouldn't really desire

I think the gem creates a shield that saves Jayce from the blast that destroys the rest of the council, which is how he survives.
Most of the Arcane characters come from the video game League of Legends. The Arcane series was made to tell the backstory of Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn etc. but the League of Legends game is very different from it.
The girl with the afro puff who got clapped by an Enforcer at 0:34 is the same Firelight girl from Episode 6 of Season 1 who knocked out Caitlyn with that insane kick and stole the Hextech Gemstone from her. It's cool that they're bringing back minor characters to maintain continuity, even if they won't get much characterization. It makes the world feel more lived-in to see familiar faces pop up. Ditto for Thieram ("Chuck" the bartender) at 1:06.

My full guess is the whole “the arcane is waking up”, by the end is I think everyone ends up banding together in some way to stop whatever that is, plus the weird magic globe thing. But medarda is fighting the enforcers in one of the scenes so I think she’s like “nah idc about “the arcane” I want zaun destroyed” and Caitlyn goes against her. Def overstepping her boundaries in some form of way. Same for Vi and Ekko, she has longer hair in that scene so I think it’s another time jump forward, and they’re taking down whatever “the arcane” is. Orrr ur right and it could be them fighting jinx again. Specifically when she’s flying that air ship in her cloak. But then again that could be when she attacks piltover with all the smoke bombs who knows🤣🤣 all ik is Riot/Fortiche has COOKED and I can’t wait!
Interesting dynamic. Sevika is a follower. She had Silco's throne when he died but she simply t on the couch looking at his empty chair at the end of S1. She will follow Jinx because Jinx is the defacto spirit of Zaun after declaring war on Piltover. She wants this. The question is whether Echo's faction signs with Piltover or Zaun. We know he stands with Vi, but not whether Vi sticks to her Enforcer role. Seeing Medara is leading the army, I wager not. This is exciting. Goosebumps when Jinx lit that flare. Game on.

For real! But at the same time I am happy that they are telling one cohesive story with a definite ending. I hate when shows continue just for the sake of it and slowly degrade the characters I fell in love with. Riot is in a surprisingly good spot to tell really amazing stories with their huge cast of popular characters. I actually want whatever comes next to have a markedly different tone and theme!

It's cool that they're bringing back minor characters to maintain continuity, even if they won't get much characterization. It makes the world feel more lived-in to see familiar faces pop up.

Maybe the warlord mom (forgot her name) took over Piltover cuz Mel(?) is either dead or in a coma from the blast, and to her it doesn't matter whether you're a firelight or Silco's men. Anyone born from the undercity is the enemy for them. This is just my theory though.

My full guess is the whole “the arcane is waking up”, by the end is I think everyone ends up banding together in some way to stop whatever that is, plus the weird magic globe thing. But medarda is fighting the enforcers in one of the scenes so I think she’s like “nah idc about “the arcane” I want zaun destroyed” and Caitlyn goes against her. Def overstepping her boundaries in some form of way.
Same for Vi and Ekko, she has longer hair in that scene so I think it’s another time jump forward, and they’re taking down whatever “the arcane” is. Orrr ur right and it could be them fighting jinx again. Specifically when she’s flying that air ship in her cloak. But then again that could be when she attacks piltover with all the smoke bombs who knows🤣🤣 all ik is Riot/Fortiche has COOKED and I can’t wait!

The question is whether Echo's faction signs with Piltover or Zaun. We know he stands with Vi, but not whether Vi sticks to her Enforcer role. Seeing Medara is leading the army, I wager not.

For real! But at the same time I am happy that they are telling one cohesive story with a definite ending. I hate when shows continue just for the sake of it and slowly degrade the characters I fell in love with. Riot is in a surprisingly good spot to tell really amazing stories with their huge cast of popular characters. I actually want whatever comes next to have a markedly different tone and theme!
