This makes a feeling of that the characters actually know what is happening. Finally a zombie series where they have some sense of the situation first, rather than initial stupidity. Very excited to see the series

@@kimcottingham8043 no, but it depends how often you read subtitles. When playing video games subtitles are typically on by default, and if you watch anime or other Japanese shows (I know this is Korean) you're already used to it and it doesn't take anything way. If though you have no experience with doing any of that then it'll probably be an adjustment but worth a try just keep an open mind. The acting itself is what makes it engaging still as the actors were chosen for a reason so the performance still makes it worth it, at least that how I look at it

The best decision of Netflix is to invest in Korean market. Their talent in making shows must be shown to the world. Its been 11 or 12 years for me watching their series and dramas and I can say, their game is still on and it's still getting better. Their acting, their story lines, their camera works, everything is nearly perfect. They always aim to be near perfection and I always admire that about them

@@flyroketAs a Korean, I recommend 'Signal', which is a drama by famous writer, Kim un-hui who wrote "Kingdom", the zombie series. You wouldnt regret.
I'd definitely agree as far as the lower budget shows out of the US go. Part of me thinks that Hollywood is too bloated to allow lower production value and high production quality to intersect, especially when it comes to TV shows and the like. We need more freshness and Korea definitely seems to have it.

@@phillisshayi7441 it depends on what genre you like in movies. But if you like this kind of series, then I definitely recommend you to check out Kingdom and Sweet Home. If you want to try other genre, then check out Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin) and Crash Landing On You. I have a lot to recommend. It's the hardest when someone ask what to recommend because I have tons and I can't pick a few but you should def check those out.

a zombie movie where the characters are aware that zombies should be fictional characters? not to mention that train to busan line, i can tell im gonna absolutely love this movie. super excited about the cinematography! korean productions are always hella well made. gives me that feeling i felt when watching train to busan for the first time all those years ago
edit: im finally back after watching the entire series and to the people who replied saying i was overhyping it, the series did not disappoint. the actors and actresses, symbolism and meanings, cinematography, and emotional and heartfelt scenes were amazing.

I was never a fan of zombie movies until Train to Busan came out~ Train to Busan was hands down one of the best zombie movies ever~ I think we can all agree that Korean directors are top notch when it comes to zombie movies. From the production perspective, I don't think anything else can compare.

Yes I know I am much late to write this down, but I started to watch it yesterday and binge watched it. Seriously this drama is a rollercoaster of emotions.I have shed down my tears in every episode.This drama has taught me that even though you are in a phase of life and death but hope is something that should not be given up.The way main characters have always came up to assist each other by putting their life at risk is awestruck. Gratitude to this drama for teaching me it's not easy to live and if you get a chance to live, enjoy it thoroughly. But sorry i don't have the audacity to watch this drama again❤

I watched this whole series -- I'm a zombie junky. This series is actually really good and the cast is great. I fell in love with all of the characters in this and when the series ended, I actually miss seeing them (if that makes any sense). Once you start watching it, it's very hard to stop. I just wish that it had been a longer series.
It has so many twists and turns and cliffhangers, don't miss this series if you enjoy zombie movies. It's definitely worth the time spent watching it and it's not a really long series so you won't turn into a zombie if you binge-watch it.
and the great thing was that they didn't forget about the zombies! other shows so easily turned into something else...

They haven't started filming anything yet so stop expecting s2. (Onjo) Park Jihu confirmed in an interview last May 2023 they haven't done anything. There's also an interview last August/September 2023, one of the director said they hasn't started filming and still hoping to start immediately after the characters are done working with their own drama/movies. (Onjo) Park Ji hu's agency updated her profile last week, she's done filming her own drama and her next project will be All of us are dead s2! So y'all can expect that they are now free from work and will start filming earlier this year. The release date will probably be mid/end of 2025 or early 2026.
This series was more compelling than all 11 seasons of twd

I was cautious about watching this at first, but definitely exceeded expectations for me. It’s not perfect though but still a must watch imo.
and the fact that 95% is action and problem solving stuff is nice
I watched this all night without sleeping I was crying laughing and EVERY emotion I could feel
this is definitely the best zombie series i've ever seen, the koreans did a great job.

I dont wanna be that person because i really enjoyed this series everything was amazing but theres some plot holes and insanely stupid character deaths that were so pointless.

one death im talking about is that one girl who killed that guy in cheong sans group. She died before her character could actually develop it was so meaningless and pointless same with some others but thats probably too much for now

i agree with you, i enjoy this series and binge watch them in 2 days, but theres so many moments that got me so mad, like the dad scene, they show him alot and just how much efforts he put just to get to his daughter, but then he just died after not even 10min of meeting her, like he could just close the door and come with them like, whats stopping him??? Thats just one of them, theres many other pointless death that is so frustrating to watch

This Show was Something Else. 10/10 Watched the Entire Thing in 1 Day Every Episode was Thrilling and it is Absolutely Addicting.
It is one of my fav. I have become addicted to Korean horror movies and series.
The visuals alone is crazy. The actors are already on point.

@@beajluck726 but in this one, it looks like most people are fighting back. In all the American zombie movies I've seen, the vast majority of people are little more than sheep. And it's Only the military, or the "1 man army" SpecOps/ tough guy, that does Any fighting them.

@@Wadilgo Actually,the korean movies are dope as hell. Dont you know the big hit squid game was made in korea? Train to Busan & Peninsula/Train to Busan 2 are also big hits by koreans. Sometimes, Korea can make better zombie films than American films because of the uniqueness.
I finished now and it's one of the best kdrama of all time. All actors are great and very talented. Specially Yoon Chan Young ( Cheong-san) did really well. Although he's young, I was impressed with his acting skills. He made drama more powerful and interesting. His character was another level but his ending broke my heart. He didn't deserve it. I hope we can see him in S2 if there will be 2nd season

It’s a good show, but that’s a stretch to say that after a single season. Black Summer was pretty good. Hell, the Walking Dead was phenomenal for 4-6 years as well.

I just finished watching "All of Us Are Dead" and I must say, this series exceeded my expectations. Great characters and a well put together plot.
