I love how both Deadpool and Dante have supers that are just "shoot guns fairly quickly".
I love this game, but it's pretty hard to defend when optimal strategies involve infinities and projectile spamming. I think mid-level play is the most entertaining and respectable.

It's actually not one "button" you press and he dies, it's one "combo" you have to do and he dies. And even then it's not one combo you have to do and he dies, it's 3 combos you have to do.. and then he dies. It's not as easy as you think.
You press one wrong button and your opponent kills you with one string, that's why I can't get into this game.

You press one wrong button and get punished severely. Nothing new here, happens all the time. MKX has nearly inescapable corner pressure characters and vortexes, KI has TOD if you get locked out (i.e. one wrong button press), etc.

Max, I had an idea for a series where you could explain a game's playstyle, why characters in that game are better than others, and generally just make a gameplay profile of a game. It would be neat to see sort of "This is this kind of fighting game, here's why and here's what works in it."
The more I see Max play this the more I realize I really need to play this game again!

This game is still so much fun when it isn't being frustrating. If Capcom announced they were going to do a huge update for this instead of MvC4 I'd still be happy.

If you're talking about at 10:34 he actually just hit Amaterasu out of the super. It might have worked if they used their Level 3 super instead of Lvl 1.

Lol I just saw 17:21. He did indeed grab a wolf. Most supers don't have invincibility in UMVC3 unless its Lvl 3 super (edit: not always even then) I guess.

how does he jump after stinger lv2? I cant get it for the life of me, I managed half the combo but I cant jump! any idea how he does this?
Using a move called "Bold Move" and is capable of cancel Stinger. That technique is "Bold Cancel". There are many tutorials on RUclips

Can someone tell me how to do Team Aerial Counter or Crossover Counters? It's driving me insane at this point...
team aerial counter: anticipate the direction in which you think the opponent will go for, like if they go up, you go up, and press S while holding up to counter it.
crossover counter: when you're in blockstun, hold forward and press the assist button of the character you want to bring in.

Can someone explain X-Factor? is it like instinct mode on steroids?
X-Factor is very effective and very satisfying. You can only use it once, and there are three levels of x-factor. The level of x-factor depends on how many characters are on the team. Having only one character left lets you use level 3 x-factor which makes characters incredibly fast and powerful.
I used to own trenchcoat teams, Dr. Dooms, Sentinels, Novas, and Trishs with my Chris/Haggar/Nemesis team...until I sold my system -_-
