@@SimonasB Three very different Loyalist legions, which don't really get along (honestly a lot of the factions, regardless of what "side" they are on rarely get along with each other). Thanks to the customization options the squad they played with in this video has all three in it despite that really not being likely to happen. BUT, you can justify it if you want because there is a Tyranid Carnifex monster in those woods they are all hunting. Of course, this is all just visual customization and from what I can tell the squad is in-story meant to be Ultramarines, regardless of the armor the player puts on. So it's not like that really matters, its just fun to see stuff like that if you're already a fan!
Imagine if it was a team finisher instead. Templar up top smashing with hammer, Wolf shoots the eyes to distract causing it to lurch back and templar loses hammer. Dark angel charges up sword, cuts off leg and tosses it to the templar. that's a whole lot of work though and easier said than done.
would be cool if the multiplayer had a war gamemode, similar to for honor, where you have your 2 armies of grunts, aka astra militarum vs chaos militia controlled by ai, then each teams squad of space marines are the real players

i noticed that the hits to kill (atleast from the bolter) are around 5 to 6 without armor which is very refreshing given that shooters like cod have the goofy 2 hit kill system with anything bigger than a 1911
it would be really cool if each astartes chapters got their own voicelines like how the Space Wolf did his own laugh. it would make the game probably become so much more alive.
Seeing Carnifex, Korn Berserker, Death Guard, and so on in such fidelity puts absolute pleasure in my heart. Definitely the most anticipated game of the year for me.

You're thinking of World Eaters, who are not all Berzerkers despite the entire Legion being dedicated to Khorne. The guy in the video does not, in fact, have the symbol of the World Eaters on either of his pauldrons.
I've been saying that we need a Battlefield/Battlefront type 40k game for years, play as guardsmen at the start, then respawn as vehicles/Admech/Sororitas/Scions/Psykers/Astartes for points earned from playing well. The grittiness of Battlefield 1 combined with the diverse units from Battlefront 2

Okay people... Khorne Berserkers *can* use bolters. It's not like every single one is on the same chainaxe loadout. Lheor for example is well known for being a World Eater Havoc with a heavy bolter. Bolters make blood. A *lot* of blood.
My biggest complaint is that almost none of the voices are deep and gruff enough for SMs, helmed or unhelmed - and the helmed voices have extremely subpar processing applied to them. Most of them sound like Guardsmen, and not even rough Guardsmen. The sheer difference in the performance here compared to how SMs sounded in SM1, Battlesector, Dawn of War - pretty much any previous game - is really jarring tbh. They used to always sound good because devs understood that SMs need to sound as superhuman as they're supposed to be. There are so many good voice actors out there who'd fit the bill, so what happened here?

It'd be cool to see a gamemode where there are four space marine players trying to do an objective, and one Tyranid controller who spawns enemies in an attempt to stop the player. Tyranid units cost certain biomass points to 'spawn' and will seek out players to go fight them, or you can assign them to certain objective areas. Kind of like Left 4 Dead and that spawner mode. Maybe the Tyranid controller can control higher level spawns themselves on a cooldown so it can't be spammed. Directly controlling a summon prevents you from spawning in new enemies until you give up control, or the thing you're controlling dies. To be honest, I think the mode would be pretty popular. I've heard people want a game like that for awhile. The gameplay loop is objectively the same, except this time it has infinite replayability because the thing summoning the Tyranid menace is actually not an AI but a player who can genuinely react to change.

Almost perfect, last thing I see you need to work with is visual impact of damage taken. Weather it's huge monster boss slash or critical enemy shot, I need to feel my suffering too.

I mean, the Black Legion books prominently featured a World Eater that used a Heavy Bolter, and the Warband known as the 66th Armored Company also goes for mainly armored and mechanized combat, so it’s not unusual to see a World Eater use a gun that isn’t a pistol of some kind.

To simulate weight between the attack and the target. Not a huge fan either, but it's better than Skyrim where you just stand there and swing the sword till their health disappears lol
Imagine DLC that introduces the story of some well known astartes against his fight against some other faction. This game is just pure limitless possibilities, and with mod support it might be true
Dark Angels players should have a 1% chance to receive a secret mission to hunt down a Fallen for a massive XP reward. This secret mission isn't told to any other player, so the Dark Angel just runs off and leaves the other two players to fight for themselves.

“And they don’t kill each other?”

Alpha legion astartes in versus mode should have a random 5-10% chance to be a hidden loyalist and had a button to switch sides.

I mean, the Black Legion books prominently featured a World Eater that used a Heavy Bolter, and the Warband known as the 66th Armored Company also goes for mainly armored and mechanized combat, so it’s not unusual to see a World Eater use a gun that isn’t a pistol of some kind.

First heard of it from the first Space Marines game and came back after Lion's return.

that "hang" when the attack connects, why do the game devs think it is necessary?
To simulate weight between the attack and the target. Not a huge fan either, but it's better than Skyrim where you just stand there and swing the sword till their health disappears lol
To slow it down for balance, It's not a hack and slash
Lots of games have this trash feature and I always wonder why they think it's a good idea. Nope, can't have a fluid gameplay because "modernity"
Imagine DLC that introduces the story of some well known astartes against his fight against some other faction.
This game is just pure limitless possibilities, and with mod support it might be true
Even just watching the video makes my PC lag-this thing's so powerful, it's giving my computer stage fright!

The space wolf, black templars etc are merely just skins if I'm not wrong. So maybe no alternate voices.
Seems like the chaos had 2 different voices going on with the invis sniper one and the nurgle one. So maybe it’ll be the same for the space marines
It sounds like there's a few different voices, but I doubt there's gonna be Chapter-specific ones for everybody.

Dark Angels players should have a 1% chance to receive a secret mission to hunt down a Fallen for a massive XP reward. This secret mission isn't told to any other player, so the Dark Angel just runs off and leaves the other two players to fight for themselves.
This is basically how it feels when I see a fly in my house.
Action is very cool but I find the voicelines a little odd cause they all wearing space marines helmet but talk like they don't have one 🤨
