Friday Me this was a fun game.
Even though this game was ridiculously broken and had terrible online, you can tell this game had a lot more heart put into it compared to Infinite.

Lcx25 Maybe it didn't deserve the hate that it got but, using Arcsys as an example, how could they make DBF and BB Tag, their first time EVER making a 3v3 and a tag game, and the games are well received AND fun, but Capcom, who has done this for YEARS failed? Sorry, but that to me is inexcusable. They turned their back on the community that supported them and that is simply pathetic.

Tiltigo I'm so fed up with MvCI haters. You people always have something more to say. You also hunt in numbers apparently, because there's no shortage of you on every MvCI video in existence. I'm not making excuses for Capcom or Marvel, but I'd like to see, for just once, someone in the fanbase would own up to their contribution to MvCI's failings. There's not enough hope for MvCI anymore. People want it to fail completely. All I can do now is hope that, by my personal bad luck, I'll buy the deluxe version and then they'll add more characters in another edition as soon as I do that.

the green wolverine is a reference to an evil doppelganger of Wolverine in the miniseries Infinity Crusade which it was a direct sequel of Infinity Gauntlet, the green wolverine also appeared as an enemy in the snes beat em' up War of the gems which re-used a lot of the sprites of MSH and kinda combined events of both Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity Crusade.
This game has the better potential in fighting. Infinite looks great, but Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 is better as a whole game. Great video, by the way!👍 The combos were insane!

The ending to that Frank/Firebrand/Iron Man fight is the end to every match I've ever played in MvC2. In those last 20 seconds, everyone just rushes for that little bit of damage that will get them the win. No wonder people like using characters like Iceman.

Watching max play mvc games makes me realize that I enjoy playing dragon ball better because of the the reset after you lose a character, so you're not immediately put into jeopardy after you lose a character

I still cant believe how better this game looks and sounds than MVCI.
I agree that MVCI overall has better game play but it is worse in every other way.
For real. MvC:I plays great but somehow managed to make everything else so lackluster and ugly that the one single defining factor that should make everything else a non-issue is completely overshadowed.

I think from my slight research that the green wolverine costume was a reference to ultimate wolverine, but fitted in the classic wolverine costume. This is a very loose reference because they look completely different, but that’s the only time I see him wearing green in any way.
