The UMvC3 ports are pretty good but it's missing the secret Doctor Doom voice pack DLC. That was the entire reason I bought it.

You have always played Marvel two ways:
1. A team comprised from the pool of the best characters in the game tier wise.
2. Janky af characters you like.
Both ways are fun but why are people acting like this is something new and not present in every entry?
Zero 3. Shitty standalone characters that put in work because you actually thought about team synergy.
But yeah, I agree with you.
Didn't think I claimed that there was. SFV is just kind of a mess, I don't like the aspect of having to pay 6 bucks every once and awhile to get the characters I wanted to play in the base game to begin with. its a REAAAL good way to make that game never get launched from my steam library.

when I first played this game with my bro, our first impression was literally "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON?!!". because of all of the fast paced action and we were just button smashing. the whole screen just went chaotic XD
all you commenting "dr doom is cheap", have never played mvc2. that game was all about cheap stuff. and if u didnt play one of the 6 characters in that game, u had no chance to win.

ummmm i played B.B.Hood, Juggernaut, and Jill and i wasn't just utterly beat by the "top tier" characters its if your good at the game you could play Wolverine, Rogue, Charlie and be good with that team and beat a "top tier" team that stuff is just a excuse for people to try and sound cocky or bitch about something being op this is a fighting game not a MoBA
Its only when you play Roll, Servabot and dan that your just gonna instalose to anything cause those guys just didn't need to be created at all
this game is muuuuuuch more broken then mvc2. But dont get me wrong Umvc3 is still godlike.
The way the game handles seems pretty darn fun. I hope infinite gets rid of the "get touched and you're dead" meta, however.

Max is right,this is how you play Mahvel, thats how the Marvel vs Capcom series has ALWAYS been, especially in MVC2 and 3. Its all about locking your opponent down with crazy combos and assists not really giving them a chance to do anything. Honestly i love the series to death but at high levels its not that fun to me because of that.

I want to like MvC 3 but the no escape juggles just turns me off. I seldom see a game where someone whiffs on a combo and loses a match. Plus, the game has all of these beautiful characters but NO ONE uses them. It's almost to the point to where it should only have maybe 10 characters and that's it.

Anyone know why my UMvC3 runs slow (even offline)?
I didn´t lag the first day, everything was smooth af (on highest settings) but the next day the game runs pretty slow...
even when I have the lowest settings it doesn´t make a difference, other games still work perfectly fine (xenoverse 2, SFV etc.)

Imo, by far the best place to play Umvc3 online is the PC.
I've had no better luck anywhere else, that is if you have a good PC and a sort of nice internet connection.
I recommend ya'll to buy the Steam version, and also just to show our support and appreciation for the MvC franchise, my fave

I'm kinda going through the same thing as max with people complaining about my character selection. My ps3 died before i got UMVC3 and i went the PC route instead of getting a new ps3. I loved UMVC3 so picked it up for vita. Enjoyed playing Sentinel and doom doing those long nutty combos. you know, marlinpie\apologyman type crazy shit right. Fast forward to now i'm trying to enjoy UMVC3 in it's full 60fps1080p glory on my PC just doing the combos i like online and i got these people adding me after i beat them just to complain about my picks! "Are you brave enough to change Sentinel\Doom?" Um, but i like them. Well, people are whiny\salty on all fighting games, not that surprised.

shadow40k0 It honestly runs fine in all of them from time to time, imo. I got it on Xbox One and haven't really suffered that many issues at all. Some people on PS4 and PC have also done well.

It's my understanding the netcode hasn't been changed whatsoever.
However for me, the Steam version runs the best.

This i think is gonna be my first fighting game i try to pick up before infinite but man does it feel impossible to do
TBP the missions really help you get used to it. just keep doing it you'll get used to stuff once you start to land stuff cuz it used to be the same way for me
It's not that hard to get used to, but to pull off some of those comboes you'll need a lot of practice. Better watch Max's Assist Me Series to learn more about characters and mechanics of the game. Plus this is where the phrase "DA FINGAH LAAAZEEERS!!" originated from
