+KnivesEcoXp glad it's not just me lol. I think I've played like 10 online matches, won maybe 3 of those... I'm a total scrub but local multiplayer with a few friends over some beers is always a blast. Same with skullgirls, I just suck at fighting games I guess.
I played this and the vanilla 3 since launch until 2014 and I never understood it. I played Dante Vergil(dead pool in vanilla) zero, but I never used that broken shit. Therefore I was barely positive with my record. Spamming and Vergil spiral swords abuse turned me off from this game.
That ending comeback! Epic. Love Dr. Dooms voice actor. Foot dive. Lol

I have missed UMvC3. It was what brought me to watch Max back in the day. That and Bloops 2...
Max got the hang of the game so fast again that i screamed so hard, it was like watching "The Online Warrior" all over again!.

Man I love UMvC3's roster & visuals over pretty much every fighting game but DAMN it's so broken... Especially fing Doom..
Because practically everyone has an infinite & x-factor is just ridiculous. Sure, there should be a way to come back with your last character when they still have all 3 but you can't tell me x-factor's damage scaling is balanced.. :/

If everyone has a roster of those characters, you just have to be on your toes, because anyone can kill all of your's if you mess up.
+PaulusCunctator That's what lead to Marvel's downfall ppl got bored of seeing the same damn teams win every tournament. DD became a staple character everyone had, and Vergil's sword combos were seen every match too and let's not forget the unnecessary hate ChrisG got for using Morrigan.
That last match lasted 29 seconds, and you made a comeback with doom after hulk completely destroyed dante and strider. Props dood.
Once Max gets the rhythm going, there's rarely any stopping him.

I find it funny because the first match he plays in this video was the last match I watched because I was tired and the other dude picked Nova... I have nothing against Nova players and Nova is a really good character... But I can only take so much "YA LIKE THAT!?!?"

From a casual standpoint this game was fantastic. The roster was brilliant; when I saw Amaterasu, Phoenix Wright and Spiderman fighting together, I had to buy the game despite being new to the genre. Introduced me to loads of new characters. :)

+Digishade they have it in his ultras in SF4 as well, and Oni has it in both of his ultras too. I guess it's just a little something extra to make him even more unsettling... cause it's definitely unsettling, especially with headphones on.

+RichardDiSmoke Nah. Akuma's brutal, but I'm pretty sure Street Fighter's canon says that he doesn't go after anyone that can't defend themselves.
+Digishade It's shown up in a few games before that Akuma liked kids (not in a pedo way, c'mon now). I always thought it made him a bit more interesting that standard "I wanna murder everyone bad guy".
