Good lord I was rusty as hell. My Nemesis combos were off point, Nova movement was ass, and Wesker was basically nonexistent. As a side note, what the hell was I thinking make that raw tag to Wesker when Max had X-factor 3 Strider?! Regardless, GGs Max, fun night!

I'm surprised his Spidey team used Dante assist instead of Doom. Plasma Beam makes a really nice cover for Spidey advance and you can THC from Maximum Spider into Sphere of Flame.

Hyper Charging Star is only projectile invincible. :/ You can literally grab Cap out of it if you're close enough, or trip him with a low.

okay, i'll put this here:
Recently, i got the interest again on Ultimate, and decided to jump back in, but i decided a new team. Since i wanted something fun to play, i picked Spidey, Sent, Akuma. I can do the cancel of Spidey into UWT, but the thing i'm running out of, is the assist part. Idk why i'm failing with Sent's assist a lot the follow up (sent assist:Sent force). Surprisingly, by a mere misbutton, i pressed Akuma's Tatsumaki's, and it helped really well!.
Any advice for the Sent thing? This team is really fun, and has some good combos (though i want to add the Sent Force to Akuma's combos)
Look up some knives gameplay he's the only one I've seen that uses akuma and sentinel in tournament play
Shame that, if I ever get this game, I am very likely to not have the entire experience due to a couple characters locked behind DLC I can no longer buy. But beyond that, and a few extra palettes, it's probably a small sacrifice for a great game.

Does anyone else think UMVC3 is not very watchable?
I find it watchable every now and again... But with any and every game, prolonged exposure to it can render it "unwatchable" I don't watch Mahvel videos often, so I don't exactly get bored of it.
I felt that way about a year ago, matches basically become who can jump the highest or use Sentinel the best

I was actually re-watching from Friday Night Fisticuffs on TBFP's channel ,and someone had asked them if watching the game for its players or the game itself was more enjoyable. They said that in the beginning, its always the game that's more fun to watch, but once you get your hands on it, play it, and know your shit around that game, it becomes more about watching the people, and the ways _they_ play the game, especially on the tournament level. I think this answers LuisLEONFC73's question perfectly.
You shoud call akuma after cap's OTG, then S, medium, heavy, S , OTG THEN hyper charging star :)
This game would be so much more fun/fair if most of the characters had roughly the same health.

CamTheKitty His Nemesis was pretty good, or at least he knew his stuff. I just started using that character for shits and giggles so it was nice to see what a person who put some time into it. I just thought it was weird that he didn't know to punish Spider-Man. He might have thought that Max would X-Factor to save Spidey, but that's a bit of a stretch. o-o

ONmedz i know alot of people use zero dante vergil, but i use them cause im a huge megaman x and devil may cry fan. idgaf about tiers and all that, im just not as good with nemesis, i dont like playing tank characters.

3 input (unless you count special)
Light, medium, heavy, special and 2 assist buttons.

What's wrong with uploading the streams to RUclips, especially since past broadcasts get deleted after a set amount of time?
And not everything he does on Twitch makes it over here. Some things work great as a live broadcast, but don't work so great here on YT in an archive format.
i understand that but his content use to be original and not repeats. since he started live streaming content is now updates and uploads of streams. if im watching his live stream theres no point of watching the things he uploads on YT and vice versa. im just saying it use to be better.
That's entirely subjective. I personally prefer the content he does now, through the power of his streams, than I do his older stuff.

not saying that but content wise you catch it live and then for the rest of the week you get repeats on YT. i think its a cheap thing to do especially since he breaks it down to 15-20 minute videos. i still support max but i dont like the fact that hes "double dipping" content. and passing it off as new just because its on YT

This just game just seems like a bunch of blocking and infinite combos. I'm sorry but I just can't get into it. I wish the made games like MVC 1 still. I miss that 6-button goodness. A button strictly made for launching? Pushing the combo game a little strong don't ya think? Oh well. Game is fun on local play. At least my friends don't know how to do this infinite stuff.
I do a rule against friends. The only combos you can do are 3 hits launch 3 hits and launch down. Hyper combos where required.
