I think you have to learn it in stages. Like the first is learning the magic series then how to do combos then how to incorporate them into gameplay. I don't know what the hell stage these guys are at

I was just making that observation because this was the first time that I've seen Hsien-Ko before. I'm pretty new in the Marvel/Capcom universe.
Regardless, a more appropriate version of this, would be "to switch those around". Its like saying _George Washington looks like Brad Pitt_. It's not accurate, because GW has lived before BP. Darkstalkers has released a (literal) generation or two before BlazeBlue.

Game players solved the problem of maximum damage in this game some time ago. You'll see similar high damage in a lot of fighting games that have been out and played extensively, with similar little chance to counter to boot.
There's also the issue that it seems easier than it actually is.
You know what I just thought was cool? Ghost Strider(Ghost Rider and Strider Hiryu mixed into one character). I don't know, I just find a Strider with a flaming skull for a head to be cool.

Popping level 3 and level 3 xfactor is entertaining? He just flails with orbs and does a easy bnbs well mashing vajra. Also well screaming like an idiot. Xfactor level 3 Strider is one of the easiest anchors especially online.

Hehe, we often hear what we want to. I think he and Reimu could team up to great effect...though now I can see him summoning mini explosive Reimus at his foe...which would make him OP.

I feel like Capcom took a look at at Marvel Vs. Capcom 1 and how characters would abuse infinites and instead of fixing it in newer releases they just went x1000 fucking ballistic with it just to see what would happen.

I'm an extreme novice when it comes to this game, but I have one tip for Max: switch out your characters more often, Max! When they're off screen, the red part of their gauge refills slowly, getting them more heath back. Doing that can sometimes make or break a battle.
Yeah, switch out more so the incoming can get bodied....

Ok, yeah, I know that the incoming character can get caught in an attack pretty easily, but if you can find a good opening when you're not getting attacked(I saw a few times where Max had those circumstances), it can be a big help.

AstralMuffin105 This is not Novice level matches, that doesnt really work all that well. Its not like you can switch out without dhc in a quick way. You have to predict that opponent isnt hitting buttons(which is rare in this game) and then hold down the button still hoping that the other player isnt paying attention. There are even strategies where people will bait someone to do a raw switch and punish them for being so free. There are way too many things to punish a raw tag in this game to do it "more often".
DP Heavy with GR at the end of fullscreen block strings will snuff most assists with its projectiles. FYI.

To be honest i don't get the extreme popularity of UMvC3 since it's basically just Juggling: The Game.
Cause it's fun to play.
I just don't see the fun in being able to juggle someone from 100% to 0%. Doesn't matter if i'm on the receiving end or the one handing out the pain, it just seems cheap.

TheSyliman It's not like anybody can just 1 hit kill you, it does take some skill and practice.....unless you have virgil or wesker or something that just breaks the game, but still the game is fun, it's only in high level play where everybody gets touch of death combos, and even then they drop them all the time.

True people complain about tekken having the bound system and the combos are too long but when it comes to marvel everyone praise it
I think Hsien Ko really needs to have a non super otg. It would help her combo potential immensely.

I've played max once in a lobby when he used dante wesker doom almost lost if it wasn't for good ol Ryu anchoring Hulk Trish. I'll tell you max likes to flex so you will see fancy stuff if you ever happen play.
