We are installing 1x4 strapping so we can install the OSB sheeting.
We then install OSB Sheeting to the Lattice we installed on the Mobile Home Roof.
When we installed the OSB sheeting we Gave it a 2 inch over hang so as to be able to add a over hang.
We then added a 2x4 sub facial using screws.
Watch Step BY STEP BELOW.

Nice work for 2 old men! Just getting along a couple days in a row is hard enough - for me, anyway. This is what it means to be a craft-person. We aren't fixing fancy violins here. We are extending the valuable life of a home. Good way to think about it. In the correct environmental conditions, a mobile home / trailer home has an unlimited life same as a stick built. Southern California with some low humidity, nothing below 40 degrees, no snow load, no melting snow load, little rain, and rock hard surfaces to sit on. Except for original siding it is difficult to tell the 10 year old mobile home from the one hauled in in 1968. Interiors are remodelers' heaven. You can do most anything. Again, you guys rock! Ever try those really thin long sleeve hoodie shirts made for UV protection? May be worth a $35 try? Them things give you a place to hide when the sun is out. Stay safe. Thank you. This old man uses knee pads. The work has to be shared between the knees and the back.
Thank you for the wonderful comment and I appreciate you watching my video. Hard work pays off my friend. Hard work always pays off. I don’t wear kneepads. They make the back of my knees hurt never have like them. I agree with the UV protection clothing that should make a big difference, if you notice, Paul was wearing a painters suit all white long sleeves
Drew,
You and Paul work together and do a great job!
I’ve known Paul for 40 years. We have worked many years together.
Excellent work guys.
Thank you more videos to come
Looks like they called y'all just in time Mr Drew
I think you’re right, my friend I think you are right
Thank you so much for these videos!
Glad you like them!
Another great video. Love watching your videos. Learning alot but the only thing is getting the rubber from my area.😊🙏👍
ABC supply. That’s where I get it
One day mine will get fixed
I wish I could help you
Im about to take my own roof repair this weekedn thanks to your videos. I haven't seen you add new vent pipes or hoods. Do you cut then for good or do you pit new ones?
I replace if needed
Question, how do you know the original roof can hold the weight of a new roof and then possibly snow on top ?
If it would hold it before, it will definitely hold it after I put my new roof up there because my new roof is 10 times stronger than the old Roof Wash
