Trashley keep watching his videos to learn as much as possible because you want to know everything right way and wrong. In doing this you're going to save yourself a lot of trouble because whatever roofer that you are going to have do your roof won't be able to take you for a ride. I have a mobile home and I did my homework on roofs, the different types of material that gets used on a roof the whole nine yards it was months of research. I found Drew's Page by accident and I watched all his videos. I had a couple of roofers come to the house and one tried to sell me a product on the roof that is not suggested for my area. Then another roof of yes me to death and when it came time for them to come to the house something didn't look right when I looked at what they were going to use and I started asking questions like are you going to be checking for electrical wires under the roof and they actually had to stop the work because I said this is nothing what we talked about or what I signed in the contract. Needless to say they returned my money and Drew did my roof and it got done right.

Coating it would be just throwing their $$away. Just do your thing and put the rubber roof on it with a good 6" overhang. EVERY HOME NEEDS OVERHANGS!!!!!

Metal roof those moon top Mobil homes! Just either strip it or put down a layer of plywood and felt then metal her up

Is the liquid rubber stuff as good as what you use
I like Kool seal if there is not a bunch of rust under it. Dirt and mildew ate hard to get the product to stick. I like hydro-stop with the material imbedded as the material will not allow it to crack open again. I buy the Hydro Stop at ABC Supply

I don’t recommend that. As a matter fact I know a guy that did that and the moisture just destroyed his plywood on his roof so I definitely don’t wanna recommend cool ceiling over the top of shingles it will cause more damage
Hey drew, my roof has a peak. Ive looked and notice mostly low slope or flat roofs on your playlists. Is there any difference to installing? Also, whats better epdm or tpo?
Tpo is white and the EP DM under it is much thinner. It’s all really up to choice. I don’t have the heat welding machine that you have to use on the seams so I use the black EP DM and the glue that goes with it for the seams

Try silicone Roofing 100%
To be honest with you I try to stay away from anything silicone. The reason why. It just doesn’t seem to stick over time so I’m not necessarily a big fan of silicone
