*I just found this channel I’m glad. My father lives in a mobile home in Florida it’s in really good shape, me and my friends do all the work for him. We are all Army Vets so what we do we do right. I’m very surprised to see white guys working. Down south everyone that does roofing, drywall, stucco, etc. are almost all Mexicans or Guatemalan. Their workmanship leaves much to be desired. lol been watching all your videos you can always learn something from everyone no matter who they are i am scared to cut the wood
i have some issues where like a straight line if hard for me to cut and some nerve damaged broken back issues i am using walmart tools :D
they aint the best but its just for this project 2 restrooms' floor need to be reinforced and replaced i dont think i could doa roof
some times i can barley walk or i have super bad cramps if i work to hard sucks i miss being strong i used to be able to do so much
When you’re cutting plywood take a straight edge maybe a level or some thing clamp it to your plywood I mention a half away from your blade and run a straight line that way

Any issues going straight onto the old roof? We have an old mobile and she needs a re roofing. Do you ever use tar paper or any ice guard? We get lots of snow and rain here. Keep up the good work brother and thanks for all the videos.

Hello Drew! Great how your team did the transition on the roof line. As a suggestion maybe make your videos shorter in length? People can only spend a certain amount of time. Focus on each job what makes it different from the last rather than the start to finish? Tell us how you logistically set up a job or maybe interview the customer... Interview Paul on one and someone in the crew in the next? Maybe show us a interesting quick look at where you are and what stands out to you from your travels in that town? It’s hard for me to put a 15 hour job down into just a couple hours video altogether so if I take a 15 hour record a job and break down into 30 minute videos that’s a lot of videos

It's not easy trying to actually get a job done AND do a video production if it. He's doing a really great job showing people how to do something. Tammy girl 64 radar New Jersey loves my videos just like you. He was making a suggestion I don’t think he was criticizing but no matter I agree with you skip through what you don’t want to see. When I do a video I don’t do much editing all I do is show what we’re doing so sometimes videos can be long.

Hey Drew----can I use a billboard vinyl sign instead of rubber roofing if i am putting metal on top of it? Because I have a 20x70 one already. Id say probably not but I need to ask someone who knows for sure. TY!!

@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair because i have it already. I think the rubber liner is gonna cost over 700.00 and I don't have that. i was hoping the vinyl sign would work and that i could then roof over it with metal roofing panels.

You don’t have to put the rubber roof that I put down first if you got a put a metal roof you need to make sure whoever is doing it even including yourself in a little bit about it. You have to add strapping before you put metal on. You don’t want to just put the metal down to the trailer. Send me pictures of what your trailer looks like and I’ll have a better idea what you need to do you can send it to that number that I gave you I promise I won’t be calling me back and less you want me to. I’m just here to help and I’m all the way in North Carolina.
