@@daywalker3735 the pierce % of an attack is important. Physical does 0 pierce but tends to have high base damage, it is bad vs high armor but the lower the enemy armor the better it does. Psych damage bypasses armor altogether so its good vs tanks. The trick is to try to bypass the enemy defenses with the appropriate type of damage. Then there is # of hits. The more hits the lower the damage per hit. Multi-unit types do well vs single hit units but die fast to high # of hits. Bellator is golden vs scarabs for instance while sniper types will get eaten alive. Special armors like x2 effect or 75% hit reduction counter single hit snipers. Its complicated, which is why its fun.
Completely agree about Our Lady Of Perpetual Collateral Damage! Also shout out to Roswitha (the canoness) *specifically* for guild raids. Since every tyranid big bug is a psyker her passive ability makes her eye-wateringly powerful....
Parking Angrax next to a spawn node in onlaught is broken. I've had him casually take out 6 mobs as they spawn in. A properly placed Imospekh can be nutz as well. Although I am not sure yet exactly how Overwatch works, since sometimes it just seems to stall.
The problem with overwatch of multiple hit characters is that after each shot they lose a hit and specifically Imospekh stops overwatching when an enemy unit gets in melee range with him. It's best to park other characters around him so he can snipe from 1 hex away. Even though the same thing is written on Re'vas' ability's description, it seems that she doesn't lose a hit after shots, and it also lasts for a single round.
My favourite tactic for onslaught right now is to pair imosphek, re'vas, eldryon and atheana and push them up the map. Most waves will be wiped out by imosphek given eldryons buff and atheanas increasing of crit chance and then for the final wave have imospehk and re'vas both overwatch and that's the hardest wave disintegrated before their turn is even done (also yes the spelling is horrendous I know)
I pulled an elite 2 world claimer an he’s amazing I would have loved too see him on this list I like his lore as well he gets stronger off every kill an also gets more hits for every kill an he can fly lol
Makhotep is good for Raids but he's pretty usless past his ability and can't deal much damage. Much better investment to put Gear into either Roswitha who is a Raid Beast of Haarken who bullies Snipers in PvP
@@Exxeron-ob3tv You can unlock it by the late stages of indomitus if you farm level 29 (I think) and dump as many commendations as possible on her, but Bellator and Yarrick have still consistently been my MVPs. The Grotz have a passive that gives them a chance to spread to a nearby hex when they're at full health. The chance goes down the more there are, but that means it's higher when there's less of them.
@@Exxeron-ob3tvhis point was crits ignore armour, so if he falls to eng he doesn't get much done, but imo that goes for every character. Now, if you wanna talk hard counters for Bellator and other Mk X Gravis characters, psykers is where it's at. They won't stand a chance against them.
I love my Belator. Getting an extra 3 or 4 tanks on screen is a godsend.
Yeah, he's good. I use him alot, esp. during tours. But Tau sniper and psykers will mess him up.

Aaaaaaah.... good heads up, thanks
A strong Vindicta and Belator is also useful later for the Cadia mirror and Octarius mirror campaigns
Bellator is essential for higher onslaught matches

I feel that way about Isabella and used to about Yarrick before he got nerfed into uselessness.
Have at least 2 heroes which summon in pvp , will give you nice advantage.
Trying to beat mirror indomnus campaign is so tough on the final fight with calgar

8 months in and you were on the friggin' money for Bellator (though the reason has changed)
