I bet the cooldown nerf was in direct response of 100% cooldown crashing games. More or less an optimization issue than anything else. Once they optimize DLC, specifically Ritualist 2nd ability and Sparkfire shotgun dropping frames into single digits, I could see them raising the cap by 5 to 10%.
Yeah, having the Krell Axe applying two status, plus increasing the damage of statuses, makes the Blood Jewel worth it. With stone of Malevolence, the axe can heavy lift a lot of mod energy.
Vile Sith Lord build doesn't work after most recent patch when using Death Wish skill the drain on health is too quick now and if you don't have enough enemies to kill using the havoc Form then you die too fast
Since YT hasn't generated chapters yet it seems, here have some timestamps xD 0:21 - Headhunter 2:29 - Warlord 4:37 - Vile Sith Lord 6:57 - Plague Doctor 8:54 - Chemist I'm definitely wanting to try out Chemist, Plague Doctor and Vile Sith Lady at least when I unlock Archon xD
Bro some of the new melee options I have been getting into are just beautiful. Not all of them are perfect but you sure aren't ganna die with most lol.
From doing my own testing, i discovered that using ritualist for pure status damage is currently the lowest damage you can output. Apologies if you mentioned this bug @SheenShots, i guess theres a bug with status duration that makes the total status damage be the same just spread out over a longer duration, hence lower dps. so if you do 775 bleed damage over 20 seconds from blood jewel ring, adding 100% status duration will make you do 775 bleed damage over 40 seconds. The tooltip will actually show you doing 1550 bleed over 40 seconds though. So, based on pure status damage, when that bug gets corrected you will be doing more damage. I believe the real dps you should gain is around 50-70%. I gathered this from examining the constant damage number of bleed which was 6 with ritualist (max level=+100%status duration), and 10 with +0% status duration. That hurts quite a bit.
No I did not mention this, but it is indeed a thing. Basically status duration is extended spreading out the same damage too much. It is clearly a bug/ mistake because it makes status pretty bad. When it is corrected pure status will deal much more damage. Just one of those things we have to put up with for rn lol
Another note, for your chemist build, maybe elemental damage relic instead of mod damage. Should get more damage from that. Since not only your statuses are considered elemental damage, but so are both of your mods. win win.
Whats the hard one with going full electric. Use ritualist with archon, but instead build into status effects, you can literally have never ending status effects going on and with the ritualists skills you can blow up enemies or keep an almost permanent stack of different status effects on bosses.
Hey I see this video is a bit old and there has been a bunch of updates and wanted to know if these builds still worked both the Warlord and the Vile Sith Lord look really fun, its my first time playing remnant 2 so I'm not sure what the changes even where
Ya that's a good one. Honestly destroyer is your somewhat free slot. I find that ring easy to slot but there are a couple good options depending on what your fighting.
the only thing i dislike about remnant is how they basically limit builds by putting a cap on certain stats, like let us enjoy the game how we want its not even pvp
The cap on skills cooldown is justified somewhat but also makes no sense. Why add in an amulet for more cooldown if now you cap the stat and make it useless. DR makes a lot of sense so you can be 100% immune to attacks, but the cooldown was a goofy change.
@@SheenShots forgot about the DR cap be yea thats needed, i just dont understand the skill cooldown cap, its not even that broken when u need to use all ur ring and necklace slots for it
Hey, im a noob to the game, i am playing on the first difficulty just to get into the game, which seems easy enough so far.. What do i pick difficulty wise after my first run? Do you keep your build? What happens after?
So for this game you basically play it like a rogue like or rouge lite. You start as easy as possible, and slowly go up the difficulties as you collect more of the items in the game. Once you feel you have enough items and tools to move up a difficulty you try an conquer it. The only difficulty that forces you to have a really good build is the last apocalypse mode. And yes you will never lose any of your items, builds, or scrap on a single character. Reroll the campaign or adventure as many times as you like to collect all the gear that is hidden in each world.
Well light armor as in a set that doesn't offer much defense. The set is still medium but just doesn't hold a lot of protection for you. I just didn't really explain that it seems.
Anything for melee is decent. Brawler's Pride Fae Warrior Ring Drakestone Pearl Fae Bruiser Ring I would probably use Brawler's Pride or Fae Warrior Ring personally.
Ich blute komplett in den Tod am Schiessstand. Alles so ausgerüstet nach deinem Guide. Bei mir bleibt der rote Lebensbalken nicht voll. Wurde das gepacht?
For the vile sithlord build, what are your thoughts on running the new Shaed Stone Ring for an extra 12% skill damage, instead of the Stone of Continuance
More damage can never hurt. I prefer the latter because it is just extra time to maybe proc the crit on devoured loop. But it won't hurt much to switch.
@@jessekarr9174 Sadly I would say no. Devouring loop is pretty unique in that it allows you to reset your skills fairly frequently and keep Havoc form off of cooldown. The high crit chance combined w/ the skill reset of devouring loop is where you get the synergy from.
I will be messing with the Plague doctor a bit here this week. There are a lot of ways to do that idea and when I find which ways are better I will make a vid on that. Status is extremely versatile so it is hard to pin down exactly what items are best. Also I don't have all the new stuff yet which several of the rings and amulets are really good.
If you are looking for it though, it drops from aberrations that made a presence during Halloween. Aberrations are the mini bosses that are highlighted in red glitch effect. However, certain aberrations that are planned in the map already (like the aberration in the shed out back of the nightweavers manor) are not the aberrations your looking for. Chances are pretty low, something like 10% on normal, 15% on vet, 25% nightmare and 40-50% on apoc. These aberrations can spawn in at any time during your playthrough via the reinforcements horn when you kill enemies and more show up. (If you hear an horn, then an elite shows up, thats what your looking for. The elite that spawns in has a chance, reflected by the numbers above, to be said aberration that can drop the special mutators. You will know its one if you kill it and you receive the "corrupted shards" and of course a mutator.
id like to add, for your archon havoc build, no need for expertise or skill duration on the relic. Just use something else in place of expertise, and ranged crit chance for the relic. You will easily get your devouring proc this way. and any form or skill cooldown is completely negated by devouring loop. just about every hit from typewriter is a crit in this setup. requires very bad rng to stop you from procing devouring loop.
@SheenShots yeah I doubt it. Havoc form has been a mess since launch. It's like they won't fix the things we ask for but nerf the great builds we find. Lol way to let us enjoy the game. Still fun. Just wish the devs didn't stand for devils
@SheenShots I had a great build with my skills. Having absolutely no guns equipped. I was a real mage doing only skill damage. They ruined the idea. Still have good skill cool down but now I need weapons to do damage in the down time
meh, og modmage(archon+medic) is still superior, amulet of the sun + new Band of the Fanatic + malevolence + burden of the destroyer deal 504 dmg per second from a single burning status via fire tornado, wich is fucking insane. It meltes bosses in about 60 second on apoc with Skewer 2.0 in sidearm slot :D Also sparkfire allows you to charge up tornado with just 1 shot, in case you miss 1st tornado :D
Great vid, Blood jewel OP. Also try the atonement fold with the hardcore metal band for max BULWARK stacks (DR)

Sinister Totem Amulet is something I swap to for boss fights with my status builds, it's really good and super easy to stack to the maximum.
STA for bosses, ENC for adds
Ya that's a really solid amulet for the bosses. Very large bonus.
Kinship affecting Desth Wish's self damage sounds like a bug, but im not complaining!

@Ironed-Silver as long as it comes from an allied source.

No need for ammo reserves with the bow when it's mod replenishes ammo. Just allocated those 10 points anywhere else.
Ah good point. Might need it for the tech sometimes but honestly ammo pickups are probably enough for it. Strafe speed would bee pretty good instead.
What would you replace Nightweavers with? Haven't gotten that lucky. Lol
ok the archon build is my favourite
sometimes i forget that your just a normal guy enjoying a game and your community
My favorite build with Ritualist is when I play a different class because he massively reduces status damage instead of buffing it
It will be fixed eventually.
@@SheenShots I hope so, I wanna do DoT builds so bad!
Was the cooldown cap a hidden thing? I’ve seen a vid not too long ago achieving a 100% CDR. Attempted it myself, and never noticed the issue
One of the recent patches put a cap in place
Yes its a hidden cap added in with the last patch. You just can't get past 75% cooldown now.
I'd recommended singed ring with the last build since it's multiplicative over the destroyer ring which is additive but good stuff.
Then the only variety becomes the gear we equip. The trait points is similar to Dark Souls and stat points
Good news for you then, "Remnant: From the Ashes" is still a game you can play, and it doesn't have a cap for trait points.
