I hope you enjoy this weeks episode. I've tried to include some alternative designs that don't immediately spring to mind when making a list of this kind. I'd love to hear what cars you think are in the category of 'Future Classic'! Let me know below which cars you think are worth getting hold of (if you don't mind sharing your tips!).
    Enjoy!

The Polestar 1 I think will be a future classic. Just look at it! The Rimac Nevera as well will probably be another classic, as a pioneer of the electric hypercar. If you want an affordable option, the new Honda E will definitely be a classic as well.
Edit: The new Defender and new Mazda 3 as well. Maybe for some older options there's the Boxster and maybe the Vauxhall VX220.
Another edit: The Toyota GT86 and the MX-5 are definitely going to be classics.
Edit 3: The Peugeot RCZ is a really interesting car for not a lot and the newer Scirocco looked really sharp.

I think the Mercedes S65 coupé will become a future classic. Or the S-Class coupé in general, but paired with an AMG V12? Well it will be extremely desirable.
I also think the F80 M3 could become a future classic considering the direction BMW is moving towards at the moment. It's a sporty, light RWD sedan with subtle styling and an amazing Inline-6.
The new M3 is just over engineered and way too heavy in my opinion.
I definitely agree on the R32 Golf and the E38 BMW

Glad to see the CR-Z finally getting some love on this site. The design of the dashboard still outclasses some cars 10x its price. I'd also say that while the current Mazda 3 (2019-) isn't yet cheap enough to make this list, it's certainly a future design classic. With its shoulderless flowing silhouette and the funhouse-mirror-esque side panels that bring the surface to life once in motion, Mazda has found a style that is truly unique without being garish or overly aggressive like so many other automakers. The rear light signature is very recognizable and truly fitting for a cute little rounded out city car, while also giving off an air of precise performance. The interior is elegantly and thoughtfully crafted with the controls and infotainment feeling effortlessly integrated into one continuous piece of sculpture. And on top of its excellent design, I think that in 10 years we'll look back on it as Mazda's first step into moving upmarket, giving it historical significance as well. And I'm not just saying all that because I own one...😉

MINI Hatch years 2000-2006. This design captured the spirit of 'Cool Brittania' at the end of the 1990s. It was inspired by, but not a pastiche of the original. It remains a charming design after all this time. It is both at once Brit pop, and Savile Row.

I think the Mk1 Audi TT could be a future classic, it was such an unusual and groundbreaking design when it appeared, and still looks good today. I love the Brera, but the original Alfa 156 is also a stunning design, it just needs a bit of tidying around the front to clean it up and a decent set of wheels to set it off nicely. Not quite so. In the UK a limited number were passed to ProDrive to tweak the weight and the handling. and that transformed the car for me. So it's the Brera S to go for to get the best looks and better performance. Mind you I have a real soft spot ( and one in the garage too ) for the much rarer Alfa Spider also built on the same floor pan. Again not fantastic dynamically in standard form compared to the Porsche Boxster but when you look this good who needs speed? Frank what are your thoughts on the much - maligned Alfa 166 probably the most svelte and understated Alfa of the 2000s? Well curated list but there are stunning Jags out there selling for washers at auctionso that's my addition to your excellent list.

Mechanics I know will say it’s the best motor ever and the reason I bought my 2011 E90 323i over the F30 is because I just couldn’t get over the fact they had gotten rid of the small inline 6s in place of 4 cylinders. I think I made the right decision as the motor has had no problems and it’s as smooth as Silk and it Revs out beautifully. The rest of the car I’ve also had no issues. Best car I’ve ever owned and mainly because of that Small in-line 6. I love this Frank. Brilliant. I like the way design is subjective, some we all may agree on, some we won't. That's the beauty of it because when we agree we may shout "yes, nice one" as I did on a few of these. I do think you are a bit out with your values. One is obvious, Porsche always go up. But what I really love about this is you are not falling for stereotypical cliche like say Italian cars. You are not judging by badge but by design and that is what I love about this one. Honda is a great shout and gets on with stuff, they take risks and have great designs. Well recognised. I owned a Brera 2.2 petrol but found it a bit wide (lucky I will never be able to afford a Ferrari) and pretty heavy. It was lovely to look at and had a tobacco and blue interior. I think you should mention the Alfa Romeo GTV 916. Well done though, great video, thank you.

There's one car I have owned which ended production about 16 years ago, yet it still looks fresh and I'd have a good one in my garage.
The original Audi A2. All aluminium, no need to lift the bonnet, very roomy interior, yet compact enough to park anywhere.
If had the garage I would also happily drop £10k on the 10 year old Outback 3.6 currently for sale at my local Subaru dealer.

From memory it was an F430 spider manual (got it), 911, E39M5 (had two). Date car: Eagle E-type. Tuner car: MkIV Supra (had one). Supercar: McLaren F1. Track day: Ariel Atom or Caterham 260CSR. Milk run: A2. Schlepping and snowy conditions: old Land Cruiser or Defender, never wash it. Museum car: Alfa Carabo (for looks) and Rekordwagen (performance).
