One of the best explained house tour on youtube. You guys covered the whole house perfectly, the detailed explanation was concise, on point and insightful. The visual pointers, using the house map, complemented your explanation and where you currently were in the house which made it easier to understand the concept. I never once lost focus at any point in your video, that's how good it was.You EARNED a subscriber!

Looks like crap if I'm being honest... Both inside and outside... It's got no shape or soul to it, it's just minimalistic garbage lines, boxes and squares everywhere... Feels like a robo hotel room or like one of those hyper modern vacation homes that people build in forests or remote places, not like a house that you would actually live in. I much prefer the mid to late 1900's European style mansions over modern villas...

@@Mitchell527 Please don't confuse this high-end installation with American RVs. RV's are junk, until you go into the $1MM price range of the Prevost coaches. The $100-300k RVs fall apart like you wouldn't believe. They aren't made like autos in a factory, instead the cheapest Mexican and South American workers slap them them together like houses, manually screwing in screws and bolting stuff together. There's very few automated processes. Quality control is terrible. :)

    GREAT PROJECT! 🔝
Having your architect doing pull-ups on the staircase is so cool! Kudos! 💪A stealthy way to promote working out, which I loved! I know that was not the intention, but still. It definitely breaks down the steriotypical "architect" image in my mind... 😄
The house, although unfinished, looks AMAZING! 🚀A few small subjective changes I could make, if I ever own enough money to afford such a luxurious home, but I am perfectly fine getting it as is! ☀
Some people laughed at the prolonged driveway intro, but I liked that.😇In fact, the outer design of the house, the driveway and the garage are what fascinates me the most. I know it's not the most difficult to design part of the whole project, nor the most complicated, but I just love the symbiosis between simplicity, functionality and modern look. ♥

It`s a shitty house. The architect is a moron.
Scandinavia is super dark year round. This was shot during the 2 hours of sunlight they have. The built a black house in the dark. It`s super depressing. There is a reason Scandinavians use bright colors traditionally.
The house is also with a flat roof. It`s gonna get super leaky and moldy. There is a reason snowy rainy places like Scandinavia use steep roofs. The French windows are also super prone to water.
In addition all those fancy doors means that you can`t enter your house during a power shortage or when you don`t have phone battery and if it breaks you need to find the subcontractor from Poland to fix it.
The house is crap but it`s presented as modern and cool to people who don`t work in construction and think of these problems.

It's such a great idea to increase the number of rooms in the house that have a view of an outdoor space especially for a house in a dense, urban area. It's a beautiful house. I find it interesting how certain design challenges are relative to the area / country it's built in, in the video the plot area is mentioned multiple times as a big challenge to its "small" size. I recently bought a plot in Tokyo that is about 1/6 of the plot you have in the video, and it's considered reasonably spacious here. Houses are built more vertically here as well (3 story single family houses are quite common). It's all relative.

This house is the true definition of modern elegance. Wow! I don't think I've ever seen such attention to detail in mechanical rooms. 😳Personally, I'd keep the sauna/jacuzzi indoors and move the pool outside. Aside from the cost of treating water evaporation, condensation, humidity etc., that's just waaaay too much water indoors ... and water is no respecter of persons. It might take a year, 10 years, maybe even 20 years, but some day in the future, that water will become a headache of epic proportions. 🤦🏾‍♂Other than that, I love, love, LOVE, the house!✅

So, you drive into the garage in the winter, all warm and such, only to open the back door to an uncovered walkway that's covered in snow to get into the house? Why is the garage separate from the house?

Nice house but the floating stairs are an accident waiting to happen. It needs some sort of hand rail to prevent you from falling off. Just imagine having a party and had a few drinks and wanted to go down into the basement to check the fuses after the DJ overloaded your circuits. 🙄

Even though this house does seem to be very comfortable, I much prefer classic architecture.

Yeah, it looks comfortable and seems well thought out, but I don't understand why everybody's over it. It looks pretty sterile and boring imo.

To be perfectly honest the only thing that really impressed me was the parking entrance. The cobblestone of choice seemed quite mediocre as I don't find "old school" style of cobblestones where you can't have a perfectly lined surface appealing, maybe because of the types of cars I drive. The neighbourhood unfortunately seem to lower the price of the house quite a bit. When looking at the few footage we have of the neighbours, it feels like a rich person living in the middle of peasants. I know it's an exaggeration but you get my point. The utility room is quite well done though. Good quality parvement stone would have looked much better instead of oddly shaped cobblestones imo. To each their own I guess. Good job on the presentation.

16:11 those stairs would NOT pass code in any part of the world where sane people live. No fall restraint on the right side and the run and rise on those stairs are just waiting for broken legs. If you're NOT going to have a back on the rise of each run, you sure as hell can't have it end at the back in vertical line with the next run above. That's a great way for someone to slip a foot through and snap their ankle, shin or tear their knee out.

interesting design, very modern and functional. would love to see finished interiors. at this point personally I feel lack of coziness, one may use his imagination to picture a cozy home, but given the very modern design it is a lot harder

Reminded me of Prague and the Soviet Brutalist achitecture there.
Cold. Lifeless. Devoid of humanness. Brutal, actually.
Wevwill see about the flat roof amoungstball of the steeply pitched ones. Frank Lloyd Wright favored flat roofs! And they all leaked! It was/is a tremendous flaw in his work. But you do have that dehumidification system already installed, so maybe.......
