Cant believe chef can speak english now. I used to watch him 5 years ago when he was starting to get popular not an ounce of english. Now he can entertain more people because they can understand what he is saying when he is cooking.

Great video, keep it up. I was in Japan recently and couldn’t get in but I’m very excited about going to see him soon in Melbourne Australia. His first visit here!!

I get that not everyone will think that Kichi Kichi’s omurice is the best but there are other videos on YT that really judge Kichi Kichi’s food pretty harshly. Why even waste posting a video if u didn’t like it, right?? “Oh, he’s entertaining but his food is just so-so”. BANNED.
That being said, your video is honest and I appreciate you not down-Yelping Kichi Kichi. I agree that coming back and watching him do the same thing over and over might not be everyone’s cup of tea but he is just so infectious to watch regardless. Kichi Kichi brings happiness to everyone and I would vote for him for president!

Hi Martin! First of all, thanks for stopping by and commenting! I appreciate it. I must admit I haven't really watched other reviews, I just wanted to turn what would normally be dusty footage that doesn't get looked at into a small story I can look back on in a few years! Motokichi is honestly an awesome guy and as you say, he's infectious. We need more people like him who are genuine about what they do. It makes me sad to know that people are harshly judging him and his restaurant. I actually tried to book a seat for next month, but it booked out instantly! I think despite what the critics say (1) he's still getting booked out and (2) I don't think they could do what he does.
