Awesome comparison. I went with the 3000 for the 396sbc stroker I once had due to both my neighbors having newborn children. The 3000 are way quieter at idle as oppose to the 9000
The 9000 is quite a bit louder. You look at the 6000 series or just jump from 9 to 3k? Still, love the car!! And the sound! Building a blown injected 70 Nova right now and thinking on the 9 or 6k....
@@andyreiwitch8845 my dad actually has the 6k on his car and I like the sound of them as well, just wanted to try and really tame the sound of my car. That sounds like a badass build!
Not that I have noticed, but that’s only based on a couple no prep passes. I’m hoping to run on a prepped track this fall and see how they do compared to the 9000’s
Thank you! It’s a 10.5:1 421” small block Chevy. Afr 220 cylinder heads, solid roller cam, bmp 4150 intake ported by Ron Warrick, and a quick fuel 950 carb.

That’s solid 💯💯
Cam't go wrong with either! Sounds fantastic!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you! The 3000’s are noticeably quieter in person, but they still have a very similar sound/tone

How are they for power?
@@CLEEPER1 the car ran basically the same 1/8 et with 1 or 2 mph higher than with the 9000 series mufflers
Any power loss with the 3000? I switching to 3000's as well the 9000 just too loud for a street car

Whats the details on the engine? sounds great!

I'd have to hear them on a BBC with a big cam,
but the 3000's have more bite
X pipe?

I know right, I came for the chick, but I'm buying some Spin tech 3000's now.
