I realize this is a stock vehicle compared to a performance vehicle but the comparison is mainly the sound difference. I believe Spin Tech has the best sound for the common Dollar.
m,y dad has a 2001 just got it painted with ghost flames on it beautiful car pushing i think he said 500 whp but i learned to drive stick in it it was awesome!!!!
I think a better question is what are the specs on both engines of the trucks, if they're totally different that has a lot to do with the sound they're producing.
There is no clear winner!! I would have liked to know what your opinion was because you can hear it in person and we can't so clearly that would have been important!! But the flowmaster definitely sounds cleaner even though I'm not a fan of the chambered ones! The new FX flow is awesome though been putting them on a lot of the cars! My all-time favorite muffler has always been dynomax ultraflow Flows! The flowmaster FX sound similar just a little lower and the ultraflow is a little cleaner! But I think when you're looking for a chambered muffler you're looking for that raspy cam roll! I'm interested in this spintech because I want something more raspy than the flowmaster but also having the cam roll like a chambered muffler I think this is a good video in a good comparison. But would like to know which one continues the cam roll but a little raspy or louder I'm not sure if the spintech carries that roll like the flowmaster because I'm kind of unsure on the design of how that would allow for that gallop to progress hence why I'm watching videos LOL
Clearly you tell me!? You're full of it man! You can't make an exhaust comparison on different trucks and not even explain the differences between them, and expect to get a true, educated opinion. Just because they are louder, doesn't mean they are a better sound. The flowmaster in this video is clean and crisp. The spin tech is just raspy and obnoxious. Not an accurate representation of a spin tech muffler. Educate yourself first on what a true hotrod should sound like, and what it takes to build a motor to produce that sound. It is much more than just a hillbilly muffler swap!
Frigglebiscuit, a true hotrod sound, yes is absolutely an opinion as it varies based on the individual. However, "true hotrod sound" as used in the context of my original post, is quite factual as it was used to explain that you cannot make a muffler comparison of two different mufflers on two different vehicles! If it helps, I will state both fact and opinion, so that even you can tell the difference. Fact: You cannot make a muffler comparison with dofferent vehicles not equipped exactly the same, and expect to get an accurate comparison of the two. Opinion: You're an idiot!
I've done enough exhaust work in my lifetime to tell you that i'm 100% right,i'm an exhaust guru if you like the shoe box design of that crappy sounding muffler that's probably not street legal then that's your opinion.
Frigglebiscuit dude don't worry about it, Flowmaster is the fart can of the v8 world. Everybody that has an 8 cylinder has to have them because of their mainstream hype.
Useful Entertainment yup that's pretty much what my exhaust guy said to me. Sure they've been around a long time but they get the most attention through good market advertising and more often than not a lot of mufflers shops are always running specials on them.
Nicholas Fernandez I just bought a pro street 9000 series one inlet and dual for my 90 silverado with a 350 and cat on I'm currently running flowmaster super 44's on the truck right now but I've heard so much good stuff about the spintechs so I decided to buy one i just wanted know if it's going to be to loud I was a little a surprised when a I saw the muffler of how small it is. Because I know the super 10's from flowmaster are pretty loud and it's a fairly small muffler too. So since you said you work there that's pretty much my question
Yes i know its small thats my rection when i saw it but yes its loud the loudest one we have.it only has two spintraps in it and a vnotch the less spintraps the louder
spintechs all the way. This made up my mind
Had the Spintech catback on my LS1 WS6...best sounding car I ever owned
m,y dad has a 2001 just got it painted with ghost flames on it beautiful car pushing i think he said 500 whp but i learned to drive stick in it it was awesome!!!!
@@nightwolf3484 okay what does it have to do with this video. Did the car you drove have spintech or flowcrap
@@jamesjones4309 he forgot to mention he beat the shit outta some RUclips troll with a spintech muffler with a 30 inch tailpipe welded on

Yes. On top of that one had cats and one didn't.
true
One sounded like it had cams and the other didn't.
@@lanewarriorillridez3739More than one cam? 🤔
On an independent bench test of the top mufflers, Flowmaster scored the lowest score.
Blowmasters 😂🤣😂.
I have some Spintech 9000 in the mail. Can’t wait to have them installed along with an H-pipe and long tubes.
Same here! X pipe and 9000’s on my 80 Malibu
How them bad boys sound my 9000 are sitting on the work bench waiting for my car to get back from the shop

I'm finding out these spintechs and the power sticks are the best sounding
Clearly one small block has a more aggressive cam installed n yes spinach is a nicer sounding muffler in my opinion as well
spintech. no question.
I love flowmaster but I gotta give it to spintech 🙌 them bad boys sound good

They sound different. I like the sound of both for different reasons.
It all depends on the motor. the 78 has a cam in it. So it's gonna have that choppy sound. I like both mufflers.
It would sound better with the flowmasters
Flowmaster 40 series for life
Which one do you like now after 6 years of use?
The spin techs are definitely are lil more rowdy . My vote Spin techs 💯
Spintech what series muffler is that 9000 or 3000
Which Spintech model on the blazer? 3000, 7000 or 9000? What model of Flowmaster on the truck? 40 Delta or 50 Series?
Exactly, there are big differences in all those. It will really help to know the model of each one. But thanks for making the video.
What model is the muffler on the blazer? Is that the 3000 sportsman ?
What spintech mufflers are on that blazer? looking to get a set for my 79 big 10. sounds like they're pretty quiet at idle til you push the gas

"true hotrod should sound like" well, arent you full of shit.
Frigglebiscuit, well, go ahead! I can't wait to hear why you think I'm "full of shit".
Tyler H you have said nothing factual. Everything you said is an opinion. There is no true hot rod.

Raymond Sisneros 9000 series # 9346
spintech might be louder but it definitely does not sound better it sounds dirtier,Flowmaster is still the champ, nice try though.
