- hey guys in this video I do a quick unboxing and then a install of the Method Effects Audi Facelift 8V Front Splitter for the 2017-2018 Audi S3. This one is in Piano black and it matches the Black optics dynamic package perfectly. The fitment is excellent the hardware is great and even black to match the splitter itself. Awesome job. I have a Maxton design front lip that I want to install and it looks a little more of a pain in the ass to do compared to this s3. I have a Rs3 but there is a lot more going on. Plus at least your car came with pre drilled holes. Mine doesn't So I have to measure everything.

Looks good man , good that you don't have to paint it too . I bought one from ebay for my wrx , it was ok first year and after that started turning light black . I painted it gloss black . Well I bought a lip not a splitter .
Fred Lao yeah from what I've heard the eBay ones are kinda bent when you get them and don't really fit that well. Kinda twisted right out of the box.

Hey Blake, first and foremost I enjoy your video.. Quick question, what do you think about the "JCSPORTLINE" 3PCS FRONT SPOILER? I got an Audi S3, 2018, was thinking of ordering them. I just don't want to make my Audi look cheap, and would like to keep my car the clean looking.

So none of the drilling underneath is through the painted bumper cover? Also, does this create any issue with getting to service areas for dealers/shops? I have Audi Care, so the dealer will be servicing mine for me for a while.

$400 for a plastic lip cmon you could buy a carbon fiber one for that price, these parts manufacturers need to lower their prices i know we people that own audi’s are not necessarily broke, but spending that much is just ridiculous
