The movie wasn't even as bad as many of these people claim. Honestly, I liked it. It was kinda beautiful. Yeah , it doesn't have stuff like in Zack's movies but it was a pretty decent movie. Don't give unnecessary hate for this.

I saw WW84 three times.
It was a really good movie and I think its on the scale between Batman Begins and Dark Knight.
It reminds me of both Richard Donner and Chris Nolan films.

This was the First movie I saw in a theatre in almost a year. You can probably make a better one in your own head. The few scenes of Ww just being nice and friendly and barb being her intelligent but awkward self were good. Max lord was just a waste of time and space. I wanted all the 80s trope to work but it got annoying fast. A little over 2 hrs that felt like 3.
Movie was excellent, can't wait for the next one!

I'm sorry. I truly did try to like this movie. I did. But the story was awful. Wonder Woman was barely on-screen (in costume) for less than 25 minutes of the two and a half hour film. Cheetah was barely on the screen for less than ten minutes. And Maxwell Lord was on the screen for far too long. The movie was called "Wonder Woman 1984"... NOT "Maxwell Lord 1984" (though it should've been). This movie was God Awful.

Nothing personal, DC, but I strongly disagree with Walter Hamada saying that Static Shock is "RISKY" for theaters. Marvel had Black Panther and Miles Morales both successful. Even Iron Man who use to be a C list character was successful. It sounds kind of ...well racist to say that Static is too racist.
To the movie writers- an alpha predator the world has never seen before is not cat lady. It's the predator from the movie predator or a T-rex or Killer croc or something bullet proof.

I managed to stay awake through it, which I could not do the three times I watched the first film.

Unfortunately this long, boring mess of a movie screams two things. Patty Jenkins does not understand Diana as character and she is a terrible writer. She should stick with directing. And I say that with all my respect, it's not my intention to be edgy. This movie is a part of DCEU, and as such it should've honored the other movies from the shared universe. The movie spits on the DCEU continuum and tries to shine with a very bizarre and convenient decisions. The third movie needs another writer, that's all I can say. A writer that understands DC comics and Wonder Woman as character.
Patty Jenkins understands Wonder Woman but I agree the next movie needs different writers. If they're gonna bring in a comic book writer again they should bring on Greg Rucka or Brian Azzarello. Geoff Johns might be the one who doesn't understand what's great about WW.

(from the trailer) the lady villian really didnt need the advanced state of cheetah, pre transformation was a lot better. Shame the uk cant watch this - why do we need to wait and why are people classing this film as not as good as the first - you still havent released it fully, so take some reviews with pinch of salt and watch it yourself and judge
I have been told about the transformation into cgi cheetah just happens, if they had done a transformation scene like the american werewolf in london, people would of accepted the cgi more because it was born out of pain, that I guess, was a missing link

They made a chick flick for action movies. The movie ispretty bad. I'll probably never have a need to rewatch it. Women I know dont like this film either. Its dumb. Its comical. Comical like the normal homeless person, it's like a homeless person from the view point of a child. Just a normal guy who sleeps on the street...not a heroin addict at all... they even give you cats 2.0. This movie is such a chick flick the villain's a cat! cliche. Cant get more cliché. So to sum up you've got 10 min fashion shows of chris pine trying on clothes, wonder woman for some reason can make things invisible, people are dumb for not starting flying through fireworks show yet, the bad guy doesnt even hurt people he makes them wish things n turns them against the person, you've got a kristen Wiig cat lady cgi blurry all over the screen, gal gadot's acting is on basic levels in this film( she cant Express emotion with her face), a ridiculous highway fight scene, a ridiculous plot, a ridiculous opening and a ridiculous ending. Over all I give this movie 10 out 10 for being a movie made for lil girls but 3 out of 10 for adults.

I really loved this movie, was pretty fun, bad cgi and the music kinda fails in parts but it was a great movie, a movie that tells how the truth ( *Diana* )defeats the lie ( *the entires 80's* ) LoL
gal gadots ww is incredible. I cant wait for her future in the dceu. I hope it's a long future. from the moment she appeared up against doomsday in bvs and that music started, I became a fan of gal gadot. but I was not very happy with 1984. like the Joss Whedon justice league. it felt like they were trying to force this light hearted hoakiness of the mcu into the dceu. what the hell is so wrong with keeping a dark tone in dceu?
