I’m dying with that exposed doctor 😂😂
I freaking love your nonchalant voice.
"It's 1348 and you have the bubonic plague."
"Busiling market of death clean up"
"Silly bird-man outfit"
"Get your face in those pits and see how it sees"
"Sees your predicament of dying"
"Hangs two chicken around your neck"
"All of the poisonous elements in periodic table can't save you now"
"Is it the live chickens still wrapped around your neck?"
"You. Are. Doomed."
"Perhaps they could examine your dead, diseased covered body"
What I would love to see you cover is the Great Airship Mystery. End of the 19th century and started up around Sacramento. You would do a great job on that subject based on everything i have already seen. Great stuff.
Agreed!!!
The way you sarcastically describe the details is my favorite part of the video!!!!
Ancient Aliens actually have an episode where they say aliens caused the plague. My have we progressed.
skipjack johnson
Any event in history ever
Ancient Aliens “it’s free real-estate”
That show is garbage ahaha
@@matterman7662 i know.....aliens did everything ever
Come on, guys, show some respect. That show is eye-opening. These aliens built the pyramids. And now they're showing us how to mutilate cattle. It all makes sense!
@@matterman7662 but garbage makes for good entertainment!
the guy that does the voiceover work for these is gold absolute gold
The future will love how far we have come with modern medicine and vaccines but wonder why people are still anti vaccine.
Diseases are evolving and becoming more resistant to vaccines. If there ever comes a time when civilization collapses and we don't have access to vaccines, the evolved super viruses will kill many.
people are still anti vaccine because they’re uneducated swines who don’t care for other people.
Because the average person is still as dumb, afraid of things it doesn't understand and irrational as 1.7k years ago.
@@HomoLegalMedic actually it is possible for viruses to become vaccine resistant although it is rarer than drug resistance. The Flu changed so much a year or 2 back it was only 30% effective. They literally have to create a new vaccine every year for the flu bc it mutates that fast
Aaron viruses are resistant to antibiotics because antibiotics are for bacteria, not viruses lol
DON'T NEED THIS VIDEO ANY MORE, I HAVE REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE.
amazing video! i love all the detail you put into it
Maybe how a day was as a citizen in the Ottoman empire
Bad
You know nothing about ottoman empire. Just shut up your fucking mouth.
Tio- wow your pretty angry to a random stranger that only said one word. Are you a big fan of the ottoman empire or something?
@@azjeepguy83 is that a problem if I'm a fan of ottoman? Why are you trying to control what I suppose to like and dislike? It's up to me, you idiot.
tio wibowo tibo shut up
We always blame Gemini, Leo, Capricorn, and Scorpio but we never blame Aquarius for almost wiping out humanity.
The truth has been spoken
We can be heartless.
and aries be the ones not wiped out 😳
Because Leo’s are the worst astrological sign
I'm confused
how people become physicians back in the days please!!!
Patrice Acuña I vote for this!
Doctors and priests were never poor
This guy's comments are what keep me going during these trying times
Back then: "It must be the smell!"
Now: "It must be the 5G!!!"
I wonder if they made the bird masks political 🤣
“Uh oh! Looks like you can’t pray your way out of this one”! 😂
And people still believe the earth is flat and your zodiac sign determines your destiny.
Lol! Saaad
Ariana Fabella ur such a Aquarius
Can't believe nobody tried essential oils.
You had me f***in' 💀 at "All of the poisonous elements in the periodic table can't save you now" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I'm on a plague binge today! Thank you for the content. I'd be curious to see a video about Scarlet Fever/Rheumatic Fever.
“Live chickens tied around your neck” happen to me one night in college.
Live this channel! Great narration
🤣
Every time I hear “flagellants” I think he says “flatulence” and I just get confused
Ikr, I was waiting for him to say "I fart in your general direction"
Oh, so he was saying 'flagellants'? NOW I understand - thank-you! 🌵💗
Could you talk about the Spanish flu? Polio?
Plinkitee Really! Only problem is that there must be a small number of people alive who remember the Spanish flu, and there many of us who remember polio. Want to know about polio? Two of my cousins got it in 1950. I waited, terrified, to get sick but remained well and later, got the shot and then the oral vaccine. One cousin is well, the other walks with a cane. She’s had post polio syndrome for about 10 years.
Spanish Flu video would be great and Plague of Justinian.
Spain got a bad rep on that one.
That flu really started in the United States in an army barrack.
I think it was Kanas.
TRUE!
By the time it was pandemic and Spain took a huge hit, the world just called it The Spanish flu 😳😎
I lost it at the "buboesy" part. Great video, love your narrator skills, absolute mastery in humour. Never hit the subscribe button so fast in my life
watching this the 3rd day of 2022 hits different :)
Oh man that mel Gibson Jab 😂
REQUEST: I would love to see examples of healers/physicians who were on the right track, and how they were received by the communities. The Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks is a work of historical fiction which touches on this theme. I have found the subject fascinating ever since. Thanks for your videos- watching them is my favorite part of the day!
Laura Flotron if I remember correctly, Nostradamus made “rose pills” for his patients and promoted cleanliness. Unfortunately his wife, kids died while he was doctoring others. The rose pills had vitamin C.
I'm so glad someone else read this book! I found it beautiful
me: oh no i have a headache, it’s okay.
**watches this video.**
me: ight, imma bout to die.
U ded yet
This has become too relatable
I love the timing of this video.
I don't get how people think essential oils prevent illnesses, the scent goes to your lungs not your immune system 😂
When you inhale things they can be absorbed into the blood stream. Thats why whippets get you high. Asthma medications work the same way. Some oils or things like methanol are absolutely medications. Are they gonna treat the black plague? Hell no. But inhalation is certainly a way to adminster some medications
@@natelav534 yeah ik that i meant specifically essential oils, like that shit ain't doing nothing, it's not gonna be absorbed
because aromatherapy works as *symptom treatment* for few groups of people and basically some very intense people force papers and pushes cult thinking which catches vulnerable individuals in to trying anything
Doxsunii, and yet you probably believe that the blood of Jesus cleanses you of sin. 🙄
@@kevin6293 I dont believe in god lmao, I don't believe in the magic man

Sometimes, when I’m upset with something in life, I like to be thankful to God I wasn’t born back them
I remember that movie Black Death. At the end that monk becomes a knight and he goes on a rampage. Every woman he burns he sees the face of that witch.

When I heard the words jobs during the plague all I could think was “BRING OUT YOUR DEAD” from Montey python
Yep same 😅😅

I liked the side picture of Danzig, when he mentioned that the disease had made it to Germany. :)
I love this channel - so entertaining, and just the right thing to watch BEFORE I GO TO BED -
It would have been absolutely horrific. Look how we are behaving today. Can you imagine how we would act in the midst of Black Death?
"now that your ego is bruised along with your pancreas I'd imagine" 😂
This narration was hilarious !! 😂
Currently living in abject terror of the confirmed coronavirus cases in Melbourne literally less than half a day's drive away, what impeccable timing that this should be recommended to me
And now a year later finding out your country went full authoritarian over a minor disease with a 99.97% survival rate, how do you feel now?
I'm watching this while staying inside and washing my hands religiously in the midst of the Coronavirus, especially now that it's in my county
excellent writing and narration with superb visuals and very fitting music. you guys have an amazing channel!
