The 100 days series totally rocks. The one for after the nuclear war was heartbreaking but totally realistic. This one is also tugging my heart strings. I hope our protagonist makes it back to his village
This was really well written and encapsulated the fear and desperation of everyday people dealing with an extraordinary circumstance. I love that the narrator doesn’t try to make himself to be anything else more than what he is.
I hadn’t shed a tear since my first 4 weeks of working at the hospital since COVID hit… And this did it again. Perfectly written, encapsulating, and it tells a true story from the eyes of one of so little few survivors of this pestilence’s time.
100 days on a derelict space ship. It would be interesting to see what this crew could come up with in terms of how it affects the passengers on board both physically and mentally, and perhaps a crazy rescue at the end idk.
I like to imagine all these episodes of surviving for 100 days are all the same person in different lifetimes, since it’s the same voice and personalities just different scenarios lol
Is there a Pt. 2? You left me hanging because I wanted to see if the main character made it back to his village. And I also want to see if Sister Caterina became St. Catherine of Sienna
I'm shocked that this story had me in tears. When the protagonist had to say goodbye to the nun, that's when the waterworks started! I so hope that the nun and the protagonist survive.
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.

This situation is eerily familiar when I as a Covid survivor in the early days of the pandemic had to give last rites and comfort the sick as they were dying of this horrible disease. (Matyas+)

I couldn't imagine living with that, absolutely terrifying. The worst time in human history to be alive. They estimate that up to 60 percent of the total population of Europe died. I think it affected Europe most of all
