BECKY HOLT has been dubbed Britain’s most tattooed woman, with approximately 80% of her body covered in tattoos. The inked model and influencer is now a mother to seven-month-old Aurora Forrest, and her critics out there aren’t shy in passing judgement. Becky told Truly: “I have been called a bad mother because of my tattoos and that my daughter will be embarrassed of me when she’s older." It’s not just the haters that think Becky has gone too far with her look. Even some of Becky's friends and family members think she needs to stop getting any more modifications. Becky has wanted to get her tongue split for years and despite concerns from others she is determined to do as she pleases, being a mother or not. Today, she is meeting her younger brother Toby, who is especially against her plans of getting any more body modifications. How will he react to Becky’s latest plans?

I would be happy & proud to have such a hip/cool, youthful, fun, intelligent, strong/resilient, sooo beautiful (not just on the outside, but inside as well), very unique, and obviously a very loving/caring, GREAT mother as my mom!!! I'd WANT to show her off to all of my friends! 🥰🥰 😀
-My mom was a great mother as well, don't get me wrong, but she didn't have me til she was 40 & was pretty old fashioned (she was born in 1945!) and she was very modest & didn't believe in tattoos, piercings, etc.
She actually didn't mind when the sister next up to me in age (4 years older) & I both dyed our hair a bunch of wild colors in highschool, though & actually wound up liking it, especially when I dyed mine dark purple/plum! This was before everyone was dying their hair, btw. This was when ppl would stare at you like you were an alien or something & make fun of you for it). Oh & when that same sister pierced her nose & tongue around the ages of 18ish? my mom wasn't too happy at first!
Anyway, my mom also seemed to kinda care a little toooo much what other people thought of her (and of me, along with my 4 older sisters), so I think having a mother who doesn't care what others think, etc. is amazing & quite a breath of fresh air, IMO!! AIN'T NOTHIN WRONG WITH THAT!!! 💖💖💖 🥰🥰🥰
@@hollysorensen1711 my grandparents , they were born in the 50’s are kind of old fashioned, but supportive in a way. I decided to paint my bangs red(and my natural hair is long golden curls) so they were super scared if my hair would be damaged after,haha. But it was fine, they even liked it. I also wanted to make different piercings on my ears and they are kind of fine by that, for them it’s the matter for me to look prestigious for a good future job. Like not to have any seen tattoos, piercings in other seen places except ears and etc.
I don't like tattoos but I fail to understand how they'd have any impact on someone's ability to parent.

I thing The tattoos are getting a bit out of hand but they’re already done so she can’t change that but I think that getting her tongue split is not a good idea at all and if I were her brother I would’ve definitely talk her out of it.
Also it sounds very dangerous and even though the tattoos don’t really affect her daughter this is something that could affect her daughter like for example if something went wrong with the procedure and she lost her tongue and couldn’t talk that would really affect her daughter

Nou dat ben ik niet met je eens. Ik heb een super mooi afgetraind lichaam maar ik heb een hekel aan tattoo's. Ik krijg dagelijks de vraag/opmerking van mensen waarom ik geen tattoo's heb en ik er echt het lichaam voor heb om deze te laten zetten. Wat bepaalt of ik een mooi lichaam heb voor een tattoo? Een lichaam zonder tattoo is echt mooier dan 1 met! Maar ik snap ook dat mensen totaal niet tevreden zijn met hun lichaam en het daardoor verminken door het vol te laten tekenen.

Since when did tatoos affect your parenting skills? I personally don't find excessive tattoos appealing, but she's clearly happy with them and it's not harming anyone, so mind your own business.
It isn’t the outside that makes somebody unclean but what comes out from the inside appearance is not the most important thing! You are a beautiful mom in your own way!! Big respect to you I don’t even have a kid so I have no say and no one is allowed to judge anyway!!! Regardless of who you are or what you do, once you become a mother, someone (or many ones) is going to judge you as being a bad mother.
A “good” mother cares about her child and does their best for their child/ren; and doing one’s best also means not being a martyr; a mother has to take care of herself, and do what’s important to her in order to be a truly effective parent.
A “good” mother is actually someone who is doing “good enough”; not micromanaging each interaction, not controlling their child’s life.
As someone who works with mother/baby dyads, this vid shows Becky and Aurora are both doing just fine. And it’s likely that Aurora will grow into a tolerant and accepting adult…

I’ve been a teacher for over decade and have seen all manner of parents. I don’t think she’s a bad mom for how she looks. Would I be distracted talking to her about her child? Absolutely! Would I treat her any less because of the tattoos? Absolutely not. I don’t think I’d be able to take her terribly seriously on the outset but as long as she’s parenting her child with integrity, I’d be onboard to support her.

When I was growing up, my granddad and my dad used to say the worse things about other people. Being covered in tattoos does not hinder your ability to be a good parent.. teaching your children that someone's ability to be a good person is based on how they look does hinder your ability to be a good parent.

Not everyone has to like you. You know whether you're a good mother or not. Plenty of mothers are judged because they work too much, not work enough, what their kids wear, what she wears. Who cares? I think we are too sensitive now days.

There are two things here. First and foremost at the end of the day what matters is what she feels is right for her. Some may agree and some may disagree, thats all irrelevant as that is only peoples own opinion. Its what she feels comfortable with that makes her feel better. Secondly - we all access many different professional services in our life - would presenting yourself in such a way help? For example, is she renting? If so how will potential landlords percieve her? If down the line you need to go to a hospital and have an operation - almost certainly this will be a problem. Applying for a job and going to an interview? How will employers perceive her? She may or may not have thought about these things but those are the things that could go against her when doing something like this.
It’s not what’s on the outside, what’s on the inside is what matters. If the world was based more on what’s on the inside then it would probably be a better place. She is beautiful! And so is her baby girl! 🙏🏾💕

People judge her parenting because they think that she keeps making bad decisions about getting too many tattoos or does too many body modifications. Bad decisions=bad parenting. I think she looks gorgeous and I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with body modification. Some people like to be extra and I think it works for her and enhances her beauty.
