BEING 6ft 5" tall means Miyuki Sugiyama regularly stands out from the crowd. The 26-year-old’s legs measure an incredible 134cm (52.8inches) - making up more than two thirds of her height. Miyuki of Ashland, Ohio, met Trevor, 26, last year and the pair got married in June, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic it was not the wedding of their dreams and the couple plan to have a big wedding next year. Shopping for clothes has never been easy for Miyuki and now she faces the biggest challenge yet - finding a wedding dress.

My nieces are tall (their dad is 6”5) & my kid is on the shorter side bc she gets the majority of her genetics from her dad’s maternal grandparents (genetics are crazy). But bc she’s been raised with her tall cousins she developed an insecurity about being short, even tho 5”3 isn’t that short. But she desperately longed to be tall and strong instead of small and petite. I think we often want what we don’t have. Like growing up I was built solid, like even when I was the skinniest girl in my class I outweighed even the chubbiest girl. My mom said we came from peasant stock & our bodies were built for labor & farming, but I wanted to be tiny and petite. I hated how thick my wrists were bc my bones were so big. But even though I have dysgraphia and damage to the part of my brain that deals with propriception (think terminally clumsy, I’ve fallen down so many stairs), I’ve never broken a bone. I have friends who have minor falls, and they break bones, but me I’d fall out of a tall tree and only bruises. So I’ve tried to accept this is just how I’m built & pass that way of thinking on to my kid. Fortunately she seems to have come to a place of acceptance. She still wishes she was stronger & tougher, so ive rec’d taking a martial arts class or self defense, maybe that’ll help with her confidence.

I'm 5'5 and weigh 112 lbs and look like a ballerina with the perfect proportions however bad it looks to say that on myself but I've always admired my figure...but my son obviously didn't took my genes and his structure is totally different than mine, but regardless of what we got from the genetic lottery we must learn to like and accept ourselves and respect the body we've been given.
Definitely at a certain point we are better off accepting ourselves as is than changing into something else especially for or because of other people!

For some reason, I am starting to see a lot more taller Asian women. I live near flushing, queens New York and they have literally the biggest Asian population in the country. You will be amazed how many Japanese women who are easily taller than me and I am 5’10.

I had the same issue with my legs. I had to buy men's jeans or find womens pants were I can open and drop the heim. Also I had to get a local tailor who would adjust or make clothes for me.

I'm a 2 metres tall Irish man which is just under 6'7. I have 48 inch inside leg measurements. I'm in my fifties now but it's much easier to buy clothes in longer sizes than it used to be because of the internet.
There are many internet stores that have extra tall selections of clothing and even bricks and mortar stores which even if they don't have extra tall sizes in their local stores can order in taller sizes from central storage. Marks and Spencer are particularly good for this.
Thankfully I just need the extra long sizes and not the extra wide.

I told my friend that is tall as her but is guy and has a larger frame is going to be difficult moving around. Am 5"9' and its good on my height but have a larger frame due to weight lifting might get cramp in certain areas.
