That was the funniest watch review I’ve ever had the good luck to see. The No.1 of the millions of watch reviews on RUclips. Bringing humour into a watch nerd group is refreshing and almost tempted to send to my non magpie watch friends.
@@I-Libertine You got me there. My immaturity has certainly grown with my height. I can't get through a single episode of "How it's made" without yelling at least 5 "Your mom" jokes at my TV. So...

"Brew it with pasta-water!" I truly heard James Hoffmann's head explode when you said it. Priceless... Oh, I do like James, but... here we are, head exploded and all.
The first time I saw a sugess was on a watchfinder video about cheap tourbillons and he featured a pagani in a video about bargain watches about a month ago
There's nothing to say about them tho. Functionally they are watches but what do u expect him to say about them? There's no history or legacy there. They're all just cut price cheap cash grabs copying existing designs
I bought a Spinnaker Fleuss in the Oxblood Red a few weeks ago. It's a great watch and looks even better in person. Changed the strap to a tan leather one which I feel suits it perfectly
I bought the Momentum Atlas for my father in law as he kept breaking his watches. He still wears it daily and it is about 15 years old now. I'm impressed.
I bought the Brew metric a few yeas ago and it's the best watch purchase I ever made. The dial is elegant and fun at the same time. I always smile when I put this watch on.

Hi @AndrewMorganWatches , Ryanator Claytorbot, here. Thanks a bunch for your kind words about (in addition to perfect scene and character interpretation of) Ricochet. Really means a lot. I own a GW-M5610U with a black stainless steel AliExpress bezel/bracelet kit. Surprising how nice it looks for how little my investment was. The quality of the bracelet is quite good apart from a little rattle. Almost pulled the trigger on a Momentum Sea Quartz, but decided to spend a little extra and get an Oceanus T200S - that watch has effectively killed my desire to get anything nicer or more expensive. It is a beautiful piece. But thanks for the Momentum shout out. they are a great company that makes some really impressive watches for the money. I’d still rather have my GW-9400 Rangeman for the outdoors, but the Atlas is about as solid of a field watch as it gets for the money.

My wife wears my Momentum Atlas, on a Nato strap. It absolutely isn't boring. On paper I can see who it might seem that way, but it is executed so well that it is a joy to hold and wear and look at.
Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from amzwatch I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MaMaCoo 's watches are the most intriguing.
The spinnaker seem to have a seiko NH36 movement not a myota. Nice choice, the gshock gw-5610 is my tool watch for sport and outdoor activities. Orient stay a good choice for value with in-house movement at this level and should be on the list,.
I realized that me really liking the swatch and the momentum from this series really is just me pining for the Muhle SAR. the full loom and huge visability reminded me of it.
All my 50 Casios (including many Analogs) are under $100 (I’ve got many of these when they were on sale) and Yes.. I don’t need luxury watches to feel happy !
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the amzwatch has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
Didn’t realise they still made Casio calculator watches! Can now achieve childhood ambition - and may even be able to stretch to a metal bracelet! Mr Jones watches are marvellous - quirky, clever, and well-priced.
Hate to tell you but the Spinnaker Fleuss has actually got a Seiko NH35 in it not a second stuttering Miyota thankfully - I've got one and its one of my better purchases from, that renowned seller of quality craftsmanship in horology, Mick the Tick at the Kings Head
JP2000 is one of the most iconic diver watches but it's rarely mentioned on videos like this, which is a shame. It's a pity that the watch community disregards all quartz watches, it's amazing how many interesting options there are out there.
I recommend the Citizen PMD56-2952 over the Momentum Atlas. Very similar specs and look but it’s an Eco-Drive and JDM. They can also be had for a lot less.
I own the first three watches in the video, but I have to give a special shoutout to the Momentum Atlas (The calculator and 5610 are classics, nothing more can, or needs to be said about them). I have the 38mm titanium solar, and just like the 5610, it's so light you quickly forget you're wearing it. It's a great travel watch. The price range covered in the video really hits the sweet spot for me because (a) I'm a bit miserly and (II) I'm incredibly clumsy, always banging my watches on things, so with anything over $1000 or so, I'd be too terrified to wear it to properly enjoy the watch.
I wore a DW-5000 for thirty years. With a suit. On television. Then Arnold Schwarzenegger got me into extra large wristwatches (don't ask), and now I'm watching English guys on the RUclipss (you're not the only one) talking about their favorite sub-$500 watches. Mine is on my wrist right now, a Seiko SKX007. On a NATO (the other English guy.- don't ask).
Absolute accuracy. In broadcasting, timing is crucial. If I was editing a piece, I HAD to know how much time I had to get the tape to the video operator. The G-Shock never let me down. I still wear one.

Adrian Barker 😂😂😂 He is always ready to jump the bandwagon. Milking the Rolex-hype, and now as we see a revival of Cartier he suddenly is "obsessed" with Cartier.
Every self respecting watch nerd should have a Casio M5610. I would also include the Casio Oceanus S100, a fantastically finished watch. Admittedly JDM only but easy enough to pick up on ebay.
