I LOVE the fact that when he scrapes a bowl out, he actually scrapes it clean! It drives me crazy when I watch folks cooking online or tv and they leave half of what they are scraping out left in the bowl! I often wonder how people get a full rise on a cake or anything else with half the ingredients left in the mixing bowl. 😊

Personally, I ate cookie dough, cake batter, cheesecake batter, heck, everything like that, and never had a sick moment. I would not hesitate to eat these cheesecakes (hint, hint). Interestingly, my husband grew up very deprived and his mom never offered him the beaters or bowls and he won't eat anything like that now unless it's icing. (He wasn't really deprived except in this particular way.) Again, you may say something like this later in the video, but I can imagine these in Oreo cookie crusts, with hot fudge and caramel sauce over the top with whipped cream. Cherry pie filling spooned on top. Strawberries. An unlimited variety of add-ons. Thanks very much for this recipe.

Tom, Whipping cream has to be super cold , like you said, but it’s always good to have the bowl in the freezer too. I learned this from a lady I worked for.

I just fou d your channel recently and make the Koolaid Pie yesterday. A Hit! This looks good too, but I'd say if you have young children or are immune compromised you should use pasteurized eggs. Chance of illness is low but not zero. Thanks from Southern California.
That looks wonderful and I had already adjusted it in my mind of how to make it low carb, but it dawned on me you never cooked those raw eggs.... is that not unsafe to eat??
I've never had it any other way than this. My mom made it at Christmas time, and it was always without the flavor yogurt would give so it's what I like. But recipes are meant to be personalized to everyone's taste buds. Keep in mind adding yogurt will also change the consistency of the finished pie. So you may need to make a few adjustments for that.
