This is a great review. I haven't played a fighting game in many years and this grabbed my interest. Hope I can learn the moves and beat it on medium lol
It’s so hard for me to kind of keep the switch version of this game in perspective. Imo it’s good on its own, but the requirement of online for the towers, the krypt, and the unlocking of any rewards you earn in story render it almost useless in handheld and the worse port of the game available. However, MK11 is a good enough game on its own that the Switch version is worth it if you only have a Switch and don’t plan on buying another console in the near future.
As of today Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition Add on is only 12.49 in United States. It expires in a few days so get it while you can! I say that is worth buying regardless of the resolution. I have it on both console. Before I was debating on getting it on the switch? Then watching your video has help me on my decision thank you for making this video! It’s going for 9.99 right now so I bought it being that I love it on PlayStation. Haven’t tried it out yet, but if you’re able to catch this sale I suggest you do.
Just got it. Because there mini arcade cabet u can get on Amazon. U can side ur switch into. Make it look like arcade machines. Kinda see how they said on RUclips.
great review, might get the game but the only problem is mk11 ultimate is actually 90 australian dollars so that's a bit of a drawback but honestly for a mortal kombat game with occasional graphic and frame rate drops that i can live with, a great story, replayability and crisp gameplay, i think it'll be worth it. thanks for the help!
Smart , a reviewer that states that this is their opinion & everyone has their own opinion as to how much they believe a game is & we need to take this I'm & respect this... I think issues with Multiplayer is because its a Nintendo Console who are known for developing more child friendly game's & games like Mario Party will see many younger & old gamers playing that on the Switch were as Mortal 11 will be played on the Pc/Xbox One & PS4 as most homes now have more than one console & if your wanting to play Mortal Kimbat or any 1 v 1 fighter your going to want to play either single player or Multiplayer on the stronger console's as I bet you thats were the bulk of gamer's will be playing Mortal Kombat 11... Just a side note but in this day & age we should have a lot more Demos of game's to try before we buy & I wouldn't mind if they held off these Demos for 1 year after a games original release as who knows that demo might put gamers off but within one year any game should have sold in quite high numbers but for the Switch I think for game's like MK11 we should definitely get a demo to see how much its changed as you'd be surprised how many gamers won't be against that or future game's if they could play a demo rather than watching footage reviews as even those don't show how good or bad a game is graphically & it needs to be played on a Pc or Console to how good or average it is... If we had more Demos and this game was on it I give it a go & if I liked it I'd buy it as I'm a very long time gamer & remember when Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter/Mario along with Sonic were finished released to the public so I know how far graphics have come & if the first MK game on the Mega Drive aka Sega Genesis & SNES aka Super Famicom can become a hit multi million seller then so can MK11 on the Switch if Nintendo just trusted gamer's with a demo first but hey just my opinion because until gamers can see it running even as a demo on the Switch they might change there mind & buy as I love MK & SF & I've owned everyone since & a portable version of MK11 would be cool if I could at least try it first to see if the Nintendo Switch struggles to handle it especially in Handheld mode as a few games have been known to over work the Switch in Handheld mode & it soon heats up while your playing it... .....

This is a really good review. I'm surprised how the game looks as good as it does on the Switch, considering its recency and the Switch's hardware! Also, I was wondering what music that is in the background? I absolutely love it!
Currently MK11 Ultimate is onsale Switch $15 or so. I think it includes all DLC fighters. Since I bought switch in October 2021 this game seems to be permanently on sale since it is obviously trash on the Switch compared to the consoles. Feel bad for anyone who bought this at $60 without DLC included. I'm not sure if I'm buying it even at $15.
as good as your review is there is ONE thing i dont really agree with. to an extent, spawn, joker, robocop, rambo, and all these other crossovers, are just as what i said, a crossover, they shouldnt be free because it isnt even a product from mortal kombat, but characters which are from MK should certainly just be free to use. Aside from that i think they could of done FAR better with the switch's graphical prowess, monster hunter rise looks beautiful and so does monster hunter stories. same with other games like apex legends, theres no reason that they cant update the graphics to look better, when these games take far less space on the switch itself and cost equal to or maybe less. The ultimate edition is the best choice to get. but for your price, i agree, twenty for the base game is fair.
I love it and I got the switch for my wife her pitch was they had mk11 on it and she would not play any other system so I did I love it I'm sure it looks better on the others but it is hand held I hope they make the next one for switch it's worth it don't expect it to look like the others I give it a 8 out of 10 ✌️
I like how you give a price amount when you review a game. It makes it easier to decide if it is worth it or not to buy. I don’t mind DLC characters if they are only a dollar each. And the DLC characters cannot be more than Half of the main roster in the game.
I really don’t like people complaining on the graphics on switch. Just because it looks great on Zelda, doesn’t mean every game should stand up to that level. That said, i really felt that players prefer graphics over playability. For me I prefer playability cause would you want a game that looks so good but sucks so bad at being playability? Like what happened to Cyber Punk 2077?

Good review for those strictly Switch players. It’s a given that this is much better on the other consoles, but for those that dont have that option, I feel that MK11 on Switch does the job. But its because of a lot of those compromises that I waited for a sale, especially now with the Ultimate DLC added in the mix. The entirity of MK11 Ultimate on sale that includes everything, at 50% off for a total of 29.99, is not a bad deal.

It will only allow you to play versus offline so that is not great. The graphics are okay not as good as one of the other consoles. I apologize I am not sure about the FPS.
