The standout to me in this collection is TvC. Maybe that select screen idea was an influence of the devs at Eighting, that is a company with a notable "light retro" inclination. More exactly in the sense of looking for your references in the last few generations and not the current one where you are. Like that TvC design seems to be an idea of the early 00s. (Just like they are making the upcoming HxH game to remind a lot of MvC3)
I'm glad for the return of the series, even though there are fewer high quality design ideas in that early 2010s period. But even that kind of decline must be registered anyways, it's part of history.
