Fact: in tekken 8 at the ending, jin didn't lose the devil gene yet, if you look closely at his arm which has the devil gene mark, you would see that the mark didn't vanish yet, meaning that he didn't lose it yet
And i think kazuya as well still have it, but both of them just doesn't feel it Could it be that jin just only shut off the devil gene effect and need to be awaken again? Hmm
@@ridwanlol123 well, as for kazuya i have 2 theories. 1-in the secret ending in which kazuya defeats jin in their final battle and throws jin from a cliff, there will be a scene where kazuya is sitting by himself in his office, thinking about the jin's words about their devil gene and then say "my power maybe gone, but it's not required any longer" which would mean that kazuya's devil gene is been erased by angel jin's special attack (rage art attack). 2-my second theory is like you said, kazuya also still has the devil gene as jin and it maybe require to be activated or awakened again, which this reawakening could happen in tekken 9 and IF my second theory is true, then i guess that reina will be the final boss in tekken 9 and jin would fight her and at some moment in the battle, kazuya would appear to be alive and show-cased to be more open minded and mindful after his defeat upon jin's hand, and then join forces with jin as to take riena down together. These 2 theories one of them could be true, but if the second theory is true, then it would mean that jin and kazuya are mishima mutants, and by addressing them as "mutants" i don't mean that they are like X-men or anything like it, but what i mean is that their devil gene unlike other mishimas are permanent and could never be erased by cleansing powers even if that cleansing power is stronger than their devil gene, so i yeah if the second theory is true, that would mean that unlike regular mishimas, jin and kazuya's devil gene are purely immortal devil gene
