Brandon Ellis' solo from "How Very Dead" by The Black Dahlia Murder! After burying myself in Sanctuary songs for the better part of the last month, it was nice to take a crack at something different again. Very stylish and expressive solo, and a really cool melodic minor run with the EVH "burst" picking that Brandon is very fond of. The string-skipping arpeggio was extremely difficult to play with alternate picking--I realized after the fact that Brandon hybrid picks it, which makes it far easier. Whoops.
