I love the way they wheel McCurry out to flash a few shots with Leica in hand. People forget that he shot Nikon for well nigh 40yrs. It was all that ground work and all those thousands of images shot on his various Nikons, that put him on the map where he is today (even Afghan Girl). He's only been shooting Leica for the last 3 odd years. What's my point - you don't have to shoot one of these overhyped, dentist or surgeon tools, to have a career in photography. As I said, McCurry did all of this long before he got his traitorous hands on a Leica. Also, the hype here with the 'new' 24mp camera coming, and great AFC etc, Nikon's been doing this for ages now with the various Z variants. The rest of us 'Plebs', will be happy to grind away with our 2nd grade gear!
Nobody is saying it's better than Nikon mate - you're literally justifying owning a different camera brand by bizarrely arguing with yourself. Most people tend to do that in their own mind.
@@Pablo-px3ct Ah sorry dude, but you don't have a clue about my financial position. I'm actually not poor at all, and could afford one of these contraptions, but choose not to. I shoot paid events and gigs and owe it to my customers to shoot a reliable system - one that's not going to conk out halfway through a shoot, as has happened with a couple of pro shooters that I know. Not rocket-science to guess they bailed on Leica, and went to a more reliable Japanese system!
