In our modern settings even 79 years back during WW II, that was the best sentiment for dealing with ancient threats like this. Sort of the best reasoning today as well. But I mean, if it works...!
What a wonderful tale. A tried but true tale of horror from ages past, European intrigue, German troops put in a good light in a rare instance of humanity, and a creeping fear of the unknown. Great stuff man
I mean, if you watch this multiple times, this critter may rely more on sound and scent, hence it’s “ eyes like the void” which, I think, are actually super specialized nostrils. Great storytelling, nonetheless. :)
Demon creature: "Noooo! Last time I fought you, you were armed with swords and bow & arrows! What the hell is this?!" Fallshirmjägers: "Ahah, 1500 rounds per minute goes brrrrrr"
Indeed. Demon-Freak: "What' THUNDERFIRE-STCKS ARE THESE?! HETHANS! You have no honor fight like your lives depend on it?!" Soldiers with weapons from 1942: "War Has Changed, Freak-Monster. MEN: FIRE AT WILL!!! ENGAGE THE TARGET! LOOSE ALL MUNITIONS ON THE ABOMINATION!!!!!"
First off, seriously "SLOW DOWN WHEN NARRATING". Too fast and please a little louder. Now, an amazing story, just a mind blowing episode! Kick ass channel! Sounds like a "Numen" or an "afreet" evil in nature.
Oh my god! This was by far my favorite episode! I loved the development of this demon and the plot around it! Keep up the good work, man! Also, on a side note, it would help if you increased your voice volume more.
You could almost turn this into a serial, with Operation Paperclip seeing these men folded into an American unit with the same purpose: hunting down and destroying murderous creatures.
This series has excellent creature designs so far! I love how this one looks partially wooden or bony in its facial features, almost like a mask. Glad this channel got recommended to me, definitely will be following closely!
@@UnclassifiedEncounter Ah, I figured it was software bugs. I personally can't stand iMovie, I tried making stopmotions for an art class with it and I almost restarted my project. But I'm a Microsoft user anyway so I can't get used to Apple product as I work better from Windows.
Awesome! I heard you this time too! I play most videos with just audio as I am trying to sleep and watch the video the next day. This is the first one I’ve ever had to turn off and wait until morning to finish watching. I just got done and it was awesome.
I have to say, I found Bedtime Stories on a stroke of luck when they had about 40k subscribers. No small number, not in the least, but compared to other 'creepy/fortien' content out there, they are unmatched in quality. Glad to see a branching off from their team creating very similar content, with just as much commitment to quality. My only remark/criticism is that you should try to pace your narration a bit; taking a pause between sentences. It sounds a bit rushed, a bit run-on, as it were. Other than that: Good Luck, I wish you well.

I know this has been said , but i just wanna say thank you for portraying the german in a good light. I know many will upset by this not being the typical `MERICA`` propaganda but i thoughroughly welcome it. yes the German military were aweful people but not all german soldiers were bad. please make more like this
Darn. Was expecting the Covenant from the Halo games to fight Nazis. Joke aside, great job once again, and as expected, volume is now audible for others to comprehend. Oh, and subbed a few hours earlier. Forgot to mention that. Edit: I say, even if they're still Nazis, you really gave the German Fallschirmjagers justice by making them the demon slayers of the story. Fictional story, yes, but this should give an idea as to why the paratroopers were thankfully limited in their roles during the Second World War ever since Crete.
I love this although sometimes on different sides we are all human and band together against this sort of enemy loved that they sawed that demon in half with an mg42 just epic entertainment hope you're channel soars

Are these stories true ? This is the second story I hear the first one being about the Underwater UFO.In that one a Brit and a German team up to fight against the creatures . I am really into the weird and paranormal and you sometimes hear the same stories on different channels but this is the first time I've heard these two stories.
No. All the stories are fiction, but they’re all set against factual events during the war. I guess the similarity comes in that there are a limited number of horror tropes. But I try to avoid cliche when I can
If it's any help, I can hear everything just fine! Also, if proofreading for the subtitles is needed, I'd be more than happy to help! I didn't notice it myself as I usually listen to videos while doing something else, but I've noticed others have pointed it out.
Are these stories based on true events/accounts? Man, your good at this, you could be a writer for a professional production 👏 Better than all the 💩 SJW ish' Hollywood is putting out.
The idea is to take the subject matter from Bedtime Stories, entities and monsters that are allegedly real, and to insert them into genuine events from WWII. I don’t think you could quite get to the point where you could say ‘based on true events’, but wherever possible we’re using real units and real battles.
Just like the Engineer in TF2 said: "Use a gun. And if that don't work...Use more gun."

I greatly prefer stories like this. The German soldier of that war is too often, and unfairly, tarred with the same brush as Himmler and Hitler.
This could be a fucking movie, this is incredible

This genuinely made me chuckle!
Well, that monster should be grateful. Many years would have gone by, and humanity might have been forced to nuke it and the surrounding area.

Two episodes in, and I'm as hooked on this channel as I am on Bedtime Stories. Brilliant mate 👍
Thank you so much for your kind words
I’m with MegaSkyline. Excellent story! I’ve watched a couple of these, and the writing, oration, and music are top-notch!
The paratroopers fighting this thing made me remember of Beowulf with his warriors fighting Grendel
Love that comparison
To me the monster looks like Groot.
What have I just found and why isn't this on blast??? Phenomenal, thank you.

Most likely they would all been killed by the end of the war since fallschimjager units were almost completely destroyed by the end of the war.
Binge watching all these stories this morning.
Brilliant stuff.
What a way to see in the festive season!!!
the creature may outsmart its enemies but it will never outsmart bullet fired from one of the most finest german weapons of WW2

Besides the red color, it kind of reminds me of the monsters from The Cave (2005). The hollow eyes and razor teeth and talons
This should be a movie. I hope you get a huge movie deal with Hollywood.
The font for the subtitles changed so much through this episode. Something randomly amusing among a grim story.
Yeah, that’s a recurring problem with iMovie. I trying to find a way round it...

Looks like a winged Groot.
For me, it looks like a hybrid of Metro's nosalises and the Necromorphs from the Dead Space duology.

Outstanding
Loved this it was unique and entertaining, well done and thank you for a riveting tale.
