Please record future episodes at a higher volume, I could barely hear this on mobile in my car. Fantastic content, based on the source that goes without saying. Please keep up the fantastic work
@@marhawkman303 Yeah, I'm using surround sound and can't really hear Simon without blasting it. So, AUX cord has nothing to do with it lol. Its part of a audio mixing in post production (I'm a film director lol)
I got a notification about this channel in my feed from wartime stories, a sister channel. I immediately subscribed and after watching the first episode I am not disappointed. I appreciate the trailer informing me it is a blend of fiction with factual backgrounds. Overall it was a really entertaining story. I am ready for more. Thanks.
Besides the audio issue this was enjoyable. My theory is that the attackers had to be Atlantian, with their spears and equipment probably meant so they could survive out of water.
When I read "poor audio" I was ready for almost anything. Having to up the volume on my phone by two button presses is a rather minor issue. Big fan of the channel so far! I've watched all episodes that are out in one day, looking forward to see more :)
Another great channel. Great writing, narration and artwork. Knowing your work with BTS I figured it would be. In fact I subscribed before the first episode. Looking forward to more.
Excellent story and presentation; I always particularly enjoyed the WW2 episodes from the Bedtime Stories channel, this really captures the same feel while still going in a new direction. (I do hope the volume is a bit higher in coming episodes though)
I live for discovering channels like this one! Awesome creepy story of fiction and fact, beautiful art and eerie music, just what I love! Thank You very much!! Will be binging the rest of the videos tonight! 🖤🖤🖤😊🤘🏻
While I'm pretty sure what they were, I like that you never quite showed under the mysterious attackers' masks. Lovely narrative touch that made a fine story great to me.
other than the low audio levels, this was super cool! glad Luke shout this channel out, I am not disappointed... as for the beings they encountered on the Walsall, I have only one explanation - Atlantida :D
Interesting story indeed. Found about this channel from Bedtime Stories. However, please keep the narrating speed at a moderate level. Looking forward for more great contents. 🙂👍
Great storyline, exciting and vivid. Artwork compliments the tale which is well narrated and the sound effects work as necessary. You have produced a cool innovative video and I look forward to future episodes.
Dude . Ama big fan of Bedtimes stories. Thanks to your friend...Just subscribed ..Great illustrations....volume a bit lauder...thank u....also make a video on the Soldiers fighting the giants in Afghanistan..
What an amazing story and production. Love the feel of it, the artwork and story are so vivid it's like all your senses are being engaged. When is the next episode being released?
For a “1st” try at a video it was good. I’d like to complain about it but I just can’t. Having this on at work it’s good background noise, it never stole my mind from the reality of working on my day off… but a damn fine tale. Looking forward to the others!
Wow! That blew my mind! I was not expecting this level of narration, plot, and intense ambience. Though, the volume of your voice and videos could use an increase in volume. Couldn't hear you too much without headphones.
Well done. I really like this. Only complaint is same as others. Need to turn up the volume. I watch on my phone and was able to use an external bluetooth speaker otherwise could barely hear you. Like I said really love your story so far. Thx
Really nice, loved it all, but there is only one observation, the audio is really low. I mean, I had to put my PC at 100%, YT at 100% and use headphones to hear it.
Alright, time to catch up with this channel. Edit: Hmm, the commenters are right, the vid does need a volume raise, but don't fret, I can hear things surprisingly well; oh, and the artwork is sublime, so that's a huge compensation. Anyways, will expect the other three vids to have a lot of improvements.
Fantastic story telling but a couple of pointers 1, The narrative was a little rushed and quite and 2, The writing could do with being in black instead of white, as it is hard to read quickly on light back grounds Otherwise deffinatly a must watch
Love your new channel Simon and I wish you continued success. Helpful critique…it is a bit hard to read the text because it is white against a grayish background. Thoughts?
The feedback so far has all been constructive and positive, no trolls yet thankfully. I need to up the sound levels for he next episode, and am considering shifting the subs up and maybe varying the colour. But thanks for your support, it’s genuinely valued
@@UnclassifiedEncounter bordered text I find to help quite a lot. Any one color can easily get lost in the background, but adding an outline means that even if one color gets lost, the other won't.
Nice story, but the sound recording was very soft and muffled. I had to resort to reading the subtitles. Do fix that issue, and we would have a winner here. Thanks
Here's my theory on this encounter: The Atlantideans got really mad at us land-dwelling normies because we were fighting a world war and had more important things to worry about rather than looking for their Lost City, so, like a bunch of clingy anime girls, they could not handle the loss of attention, got mad pissed and rose back to the surface to stab poor people with their fancy magnetic tridents, like: "Notice me, notice meeeeee!" P.S. : Not trying to make a mockery, just fooling around. I've just discovered this channel and already love it.
maybe, or ze Germans discovered the location of the Lost City and thus they get mad pissed about it... bcs according to one theory Atlantida is supposedly located in the waters in and around GB and Ireland
Some suggestions: as everyone has mentioned, better volume and clearer microphone. The new video is much better. Also, any text that you show, please narrate it, as most of us watch Bedtime Stories, Wartime Stories and now yours channel, without actually looking but more like a podcast, except for getting glimpses. Just a suggestion. Also, as a non-native English speaker, can you read a bit slow? its hard to understand. Something that you can adapt from Bed/War-time stories. Also, can you please switch the font style? and maybe have a black background to make text more prominent? Other than that, YES! NEW CHANNEL! FINALLY MORE CONTENT FROM YOU GUYS LOL. I wish you good luck, brother.
I was looking forward to this story but the volume is so low I couldn't watch it. Can you please make the volume higher! I'll come back to your page later after you have fixed it. All the best!
Perhaps re release this episode with improved audio? Will watch the other episodes hoping for improvement, I find this still engaging despite the audio.
A very dumb question, is this a real event, or is it fictional? I cannot find any HMS MENDACIOUS on the internet. Can you provide any reference? Thanks
Just watched for the first time, recommended by bedtime stories. While the stories are good, the background music is too loud and such a distraction. I really hope the music gets dropped or at least toned down by 80%. The music is almost a deal breaker. Other than that, I will continue to watch as long as I can deal with that music/noise doesn't make it impossible for me to deal with. Keep up the good work. This comment is intended as constructive criticism. Nothing more. Thank you for all your work.
Lieutenant Shepherd and then "the mayborn"... Are you referencing stargate, and it really obscure but awesome way?? Or at least, using names from stargate... It just seems like too much of a coincidence ...and if so..that is fucking awesome!! Stargate SG1/Atlantis are my shit! If not..hey, it's still a pretty funny coincidence / pretty cool anyway.. and I'm just pretend it was purposeful..

Nice, like one of those old radio horror plays from back in the day
Top level entertainment and storytelling. You've got yourself a new subscriber!
4.5 minutes in and the audio seems fine. I don't need the volume at 100%.
This reminds me heavily of Justice Society: World War II, and for good reason.
Fantastic
