Mr. Joyner, I have a question maybe you can answer. When starting your plants in the water do I fill up completely with the solution you showed how to make or do I have to add plain water ? If plain water how much of the solution do I add to the water ? Thanks for your help. I've only grew in soil. Was thinking I could just put in the solution, then I thought that may be too much, maybe I have to add plain water. Figured I'd ask someone who's done it. Thanks bro.

Honestly it’s trial and error for me. If I see my plants are not looking healthy, I’ll add more nutrients. I think I started with 1 to 2 ratio (nutrients to water). Here’s a link you also check out that might be helpful too. www.tool-rank.com/tool-blog/editorial/masterblend-hydroponic-fertilizer-calculator-for-any-container-size-201610071988/

Its Not that simple if your Growing seedlings you dont want to burn them too much MB will Burn them so you use 1600-1800 EC for them, then when you get 2 sets of tomatoes the second set cherry size then up the EC to 2000 which is More MB ES and CNit in the right proportions. just measuring like this is not the TOTAL ANSWER to fertilising Tomatoes or anything it just shows how to mix the stuff so you dont get nutrient block thats why you mix seperately, then measureing out for 6 seperate pots if using Kratky gets even more complex do you measure for each pot or for all at same time, if you measure all at same time you measure out how much goes into each considering each one is the same amount 7.5 gal, 6 pots 18grmMB 18grmCalNit and 9Grm ES for each then to measure out equally you need an equal measurement for each from your bulk source, say 6 times 50ml for the ES and MB and 6 times 50ml for the CalNit, if you use 6 times 50ml for the CALNit and ADD 6times 18grm after it dissolves you will have more solution than when you started making the 6 times 50ml into 7 times 50ml so you will have left over solution that need to be in the pot then you need to divide that 50ml into 6 parts and add it to the pot, but if you use 5 times 50ml to start add the calnit the volume will lift up to 6 times 50ml and then you wont have left over solution and you will get 6 equal measurements to add to pot, i do my ES seperately bcos it needs to be heated in warm water to MELT it otherwise it sits in the water and does Not dissolve, 5 times 40ml add 38grms ES and i get 6times 40ml easy to measure out with no left over solution.
